 Mr./Ms. Public:

I know you’re busy.  We all are.  Trying to make a living and raising a family, while dealing with an increasingly oppressive government, leaves precious little time for anything else.  Most of you don’t know, and some just don’t care, that while we go about our daily lives, dealing with the problems that affect only our lives, thousands of unborn children are being killed in our country every day.

Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry are counting on enough Americans remaining silent so they can continue to kill over 1 million innocent children every year.  They know that a massive outcry against an industry that makes billions of dollars killing baby boys and girls will bring an end to the slaughter and an end to their gravy train.

Our complacency has allowed 56 million unborn and newly born children to be killed since 1973 in a country that claims to represent freedom and the Right to life for all.  Our continued complacency will allow another innocent child to be killed every 26 seconds to feed the bloodlust of a brutal abortion industry and the accepted social norms of a country that encourages an entitlement mentality while discouraging personal responsibility.

If enough of us continue to do nothing, our lives will go on, and 3,500 new ones will end every day.  Most of us would fight to the death to protect our children, so why won’t we simply speak out to protect any child?  At 60 years old I’m at a certain stage of development in my life.  At 3 years and 8 months respectively, my grandsons are both at certain stages of development in their lives.  We’re all living human beings and have all been so since the moment of our conception.  Every unborn child killed today, tomorrow, or the next day are just the same; living human beings at a certain stage of development in their universally unique lives.

If we do nothing to stop the killing we do nothing but further devalue every human life.  How can you help?  Contact your Senators and ask them to bring the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act up for a vote in the Senate.  Ask them to pass the bill and to over-ride President Obama’s promised veto.  Support pro-life political candidates in the upcoming elections.  Contact your state representatives and ask them to support pro-life legislation on the state level.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”  If we don’t stand for life, what will we stand for?  I stand for life and will fight for our children until my dying breath.  I respectfully ask that you do the same.
