The following piece that I wrote a year ago brings to mind the choice that America has in November. If we elect Bernie Sanders or Monica Lewinsky’s ex-boyfriend’s wife, we continue the string of pro-abortion, pro-Planned Parenthood Presidents that we’ve had under B.O. America’s children deserve better than being conceived in a country where the likelihood that they will be intentionally killed before they are born is a little better than 1 in 3.
Both choices on the Democrat side promise freebies to everyone and punishment to anyone with the audacity to be more successful than the government thinks they should be allowed to be. They promise to support Planned Parenthood and to make abortion more accessible, and to pay for it with our tax dollars.
Bernie will never be President, and based solely on her position on abortion, I’m voting for ABC (Anybody But Hillary).
Contrary to popular opinion, the problem with abortion isn’t that it’s legal; the problem is that otherwise rational people don’t have a problem with it. Abortion is the end result of a systemic erosion of basic values in our society and a conditioned response to a no consequences mindset. We got to this point by entertaining ourselves with senseless acts of violence, and in the process became desensitized to senseless acts of violence; like abortion. We’ve abandoned the concept of personal responsibility and bought into a herd mentality that we’ve been tricked into thinking will absolve us of the consequences of our individual actions.
