Letter to President Obama

When I started this blog 4 years ago, I had no idea what I was going to write. I just knew I had to do it. The first letter I wrote was to President Obama. I was under no delusion that he would actually read it, but like all the letters I write to politicians, I was hoping that whoever read it would start to think about the modern day holocaust that is taking place in America’s abortion mills.
Four years later, under President Trump, the possibilities that Planned Parenthood will be defunded and Roe v wade will be reversed are very real. The right to life is back in style in America.
The following letter, written to the worst President in my lifetime, began my journey as a pro-life advocate. For the sake of every unborn child, I pray that it is a short journey.

I am the proud grandfather of 2 grandsons. My first grandson, who also happens to be my best friend in the world, is 2 years old and the joy of my life. My second grandson currently resides in my daughter’s tummy and is well past the halfway point in his development towards our first face to face meeting and embrace in September.

Mr. President, in my eyes and I’m sure in the eyes of our Creator, my yet unnamed second grandson is just as much alive and human as my 2 year old grandson, and has been so since the moment of his conception.

Sir, please explain to me why you think it should be legal, and more importantly, moral to slaughter our unborn children in America’s abortion mills, all while America’s taxpayers are forced to fund the world’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, to the tune…

Letter to President Obama #108

When I started this blog, my intention was to write a letter to President Obama every day until I received a cogent, well thought out response. After receiving dozens of form letters from the White House, generated by keyword recognition software, topped off with auto signed signatures, I decided to branch out. I still like to keep in touch, letting the President know how disappointed I am with his policies on abortion and the utter incompetence of his leadership. When I wrote the following letter in October of last year, I was particularly frustrated that every time he comes out to bemoan gun ownership in America, he ends the speech by saying that he has to push gun control laws, even if it only saves one child. This, from a man who supports abortion and actively promotes it. President Obama is a miserable failure and a legend in his own mind. I can’t wait until he is shown the exit from the people’s house. I only hope that Hillary isn’t walking in as he is walking out. As with all my letters to the President, I copy Planned Parenthood, since they are both joined at the hip.

Mr. President:

Every time a mass killing involving a firearm takes place in America you trot to the podium, fire up your teleprompter, and proceed to lecture the country on the liberal mantra of taking guns out of the hands of law-abiding people.  Even an utterly inept leader like you has to know that an insane lunatic hell-bent on killing as many people as possible will find a way to do it; gun or no gun.  Mr. President, institutions that advertise that they are gun-free zones are inviting any idiot, who may be so inclined, to come in and start shooting, because no one will be returning fire.

Sir, for the last time, gun control laws are only obeyed by law-abiding citizens.  Taking guns from law-abiding citizens tilts the balance in favor of…

Letter to President Obama #102

When I wrote letter #102 to President Obama almost a year ago, I had already begun the countdown; 2 years until the worst President in our country’s history is shown the door. If we ever needed principled leadership, it’s now. Today, 7 years after he took office, everything he has done has diminished the greatness of the country I love. As I’ve written many times, everything he has done can be undone once he is gone; everything but the deaths of over 8 million unborn children who will have been aborted on his watch.
As I’ve also written many times, the true test of a leader is how he treats those who are powerless to oppose him. The most abortion-friendly President we have ever had, has done nothing as millions of unborn children were being slaughtered by an abortion industry that he openly endorses.
January 20, 2017 can’t come soon enough. Until then, I’ll continue to send him letters and I’m pretty sure he will continue to ignore me.
The following letter, written on February 22, 2015, like all my letters to the President, most likely suffered an untimely death at the hands of the White House shredder.

 Mr. President:

Radical Islamists are threatening to launch attacks on America’s shopping malls and, as you’ve done throughout your political career, you’re voting present. You abandoned the most vulnerable among us, our unborn children, years ago, and now you’re content to just play golf and attend fundraisers as the world implodes around us. You ignore our allies’ requests for military assistance in the war against ISIS, yet you have time to meet with clowns like Al Sharpton and seek his advice on race relations.

Mr. President, the over half a billion dollars you will send to Planned Parenthood this year would go a long way towards wiping out terrorism.  Apparently, you would rather see it spent wiping out the lives of over 1 million unborn American children.  Sir, if you spent a fraction…

Letter to President Obama #101

When I wrote the following letter to President Obama last year the world was going to hell in a hand-basket. A year later, not much has changed. He’s still afraid to take on ISIS and he’s still the most abortion-friendly President in history. Over the course of his Presidency, I’ve written hundreds of letters to Mr. Obama. Occasionally, I’ll get an auto-signed form letter from the White House, making a one or two word reference to the subject in my letter, and nothing changes. I’ll keeping plugging away and, if nothing else, there will forever be a written record of what I thought about what I considered to be important. I’m amazed that a year after I wrote this letter I could simply change the date and mail it again. It’s time to undo what this man has done, and time to elect a principled leader. I don’t know who that man or woman is yet, but I’ll support them when they step forward.

Mr. President:

At last week’s National Prayer Breakfast you tried to strike a moral equivalency between radical Islam and Christianity.  I’m not surprised.  You have a long history of saying the wrong things at just the right time.  As I write this, ISIS is raping and murdering children, beheading Muslims and Christians, and committing unspeakable acts of barbarism in the name of Islam, and you don’t have the courage to call them radical Islamists.

What should we expect from a President who classified the terrorist attack on Fort Hood as workplace violence?  How do we look to our President as the voice of moral clarity when you uttered the words “God bless Planned Parenthood?”  Mr. President, as the titular leader of the free world, in theory, the world should be able to look…

Letter to President Obama #72

Two years ago I wrote the following letter to the worst President in our nation’s history. He was about to roll out ObamaCare and even he knew it was going to be a colossal failure. ObamaCare can be repealed, and just about everything else he has done can be undone. What can’t be undone is the killing of over 1 million unborn children every year in the greatest country on earth.
When you end a human life it is gone forever. When you watch it happen and refuse to take action, you are complicit in the carnage. I refuse to stand by and do nothing and I refuse to care about whose feelings I may hurt by doing what I know in my heart is right.

Mr. President:

I’ve had a rough couple days at work so far this week.  In my line of work, this time of year can be very stressful.  Not for me though.  I gave up on stress years ago.  As long as I have life and freedom I can make my situation better and deal with the curveballs that life will inevitably toss my way.  Unfortunately, the world’s unborn children don’t enjoy the same luxury.  They live or die based solely on the wishes of their mother and the whims of progressive activists.  Mr. President, I’m convinced that the only thing standing between our unborn children and the unbridled slaughter of them are men and women of good will and the pro-life movement.

Letter to President Obama #78

Last weekend the worst President in our nation’s history said that he is a true leader because of his leadership on climate change. I don’t know about you, but it was painful for me to watch the leader of the free world look so clueless. In the following letter, written on August 28, 2014, I was trying to steer the President off his global warming, radical environmentalist agenda, and towards something of substance, like ending abortion. Apparently, he doesn’t have a problem burning the bodies of dead children in power plants. His problem is with burning coal. He didn’t answer my letter and it’s obvious he didn’t take my advice. I’ll take another run at him by reposting this. I’m sure he’ll reconsider.

 Mr. President:

During your tenure as President, more than 20% of America’s coal burning power plants have been forced to close so you and your supporters can perpetuate the myth of global warming.  You tell us there is too much carbon in the atmosphere and unless we switch to wind power and drive cars resembling tricked out golf carts the oceans will rise and the world as we know it will end.  While you and your cronies at the Environmental Protection Agency have a big problem with our country using one of our most abundant resources to generate electricity, you apparently have no problem allowing our most precious possessions, our unborn children, to be killed and then burning their dead bodies to generate power.

That’s what was discovered in Oregon recently; aborted babies…

Sir, for the last time, gun control laws are only obeyed by law-abiding citizens.  Taking guns from law-abiding citizens tilts the balance in favor of the criminals.  Just look at your home town of Chicago.  Chicago has some of the most restrictive gun control laws in the country, and gun violence is out of control there.  When can we expect you to make a statement on the black on black violence that is killing scores of young men in our inner cities?

Mr. President, mass killings take place every day in America and you say nothing.  Over 3,000 unborn children are killed every day in our nation’s abortion mills and you not only say nothing; you heartily endorse Planned Parenthood and their partners in crime.  The death toll every day in America’s abortion mills by far eclipses the total number of Americans killed in all the mass shootings in the history of our country.

Mr. President, in order to have any credibility, you have to be consistent when it comes to expressing outrage over the killing of innocent human beings.  An unborn child killed by an abortionist deserves to live just as much as an innocent person killed by a gun wielding lunatic. And a child surviving a botched abortion should be afforded life saving medical intervention, contrary to your position of doing nothing and letting the child die.  In your perverse logic, if you were trying to kill the child and failed, just let it die; right?

Mr. President, guns aren’t the problem in America.  A lack of respect for the sanctity of life is the problem.  We entertain ourselves with violence and promote the elective killing of unborn human beings, and then express outrage when one of us kills a lot of us.  Until we realize that every human life is priceless and allow innocent people sitting in a classroom or church the opportunity to defend themselves from crazed lunatics, mass shootings will continue.  The killing of thousands of unborn children will end when leaders with courage (not you) stand up on the side of life.

Mr. President:

Since the tragedy in Charleston, S.C. last week you’ve called for more gun control and uttered the N word.  Amateur Hour at the White House has never been more evident than right now.  Your immediate response to the brutal killing of 9 innocent people in a church; fly to California for 2 fund raisers.  Your response to the brutal killing of 3,000 unborn babies every day; absolutely nothing.

Since last week’s killing rampage in Charleston, over 20,000 unborn children have died in America’s abortion mills.  You’ve made time over the last week to attend fund raisers and record an interview with a crazy guy in his garage, but apparently your calendar is full when it comes to making time for America’s children.

Mr. President, the true test of a leader is how he treats those who are powerless to oppose him.  The thousands of unborn children dying every day at the hands of Planned Parenthood and their fellow bottom-feeders don’t have a voice.  They are powerless to fight for their right to life and depend entirely on others for their very survival.  In the greatest country on earth, founded on the right to life for all, industries dedicated to killing children for a fee should not exist.

Mr. President, you and I were allowed to be born.  Why should our unborn children not be given the same accommodation?  No one should waste their own gift of life taking the lives of innocent children in an abortion mill.  No child was created to suffer an agonizing death just as its life is beginning.  Sir, you and your friends on the pro-abortion side have allowed over 60 million unborn children to be killed since 1973.  How many more must die a senseless death before you realize the magnitude of human suffering that legalized abortion has inflicted on America?

I’ll keep asking you to stand up for life and your staff will continue to stuff your mechanically signed form letters into envelopes and send them off to people like me.  Mr. President, I don’t want a form letter with a fake signature on it.  I want a President who cares about the lives of innocent children.  I want a President who is not afraid to stand up for every human being’s right to life, especially those who haven’t been born yet.  Sir, there is a lot that’s wrong in America right now.  Take a giant step towards making one thing right.  Support and sign the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act when it makes it to your desk.  America’s children will thank you and you’ll finally deliver on your pledge of hope and change.

Mr. President:

The Senate is taking up the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and you have promised to veto it if it makes it to your desk.  Why?  How could any sane human being oppose a bill that will ban the dismemberment killing of unborn babies who have developed to the point that they can feel the pain of every rip and tear as they are literally ripped to shreds while being killed?   Mr. President, we condemn the murderous thugs of ISIS for killing innocent human beings by beheading and torture, and allow the same methods to be used to kill unborn children in our nation’s abortion mills.

By the end of your second term, over 8 million unborn children will have been killed on your watch; about 160,000 of them by dismemberment abortion.  As the father of 2 beautiful daughters, how can you allow the slaughter to continue without doing a thing to stop it?  Sir, the most basic of all human rights is the right to life.  The most basic and most important of all your duties as President is to protect everyone’s right to life.  Sir, your vocal support of Planned Parenthood and your long track record of supporting the abortion industry is contrary to your most important duty as President.

When the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act clears the Senate how will you justify your veto?  Will you say that some lives are more important than others or that unborn children are not living human beings?  Mr. President, all the fancy words and political spin in the world can’t justify the unjustifiable.  Dismemberment abortion of pain-capable children must be stopped.  You are in a position to stop it and the world will be watching.

Mr. President, innocent unborn children are entirely dependent upon us for their very survival.  We have a moral obligation to protect them and we all know that allowing the indiscriminate killing of them is wrong.  The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act will save untold thousands of innocent children.  It will be a small step towards ending abortion, but a very important step.  The thousands of unborn children that die every day in America’s abortion mills are dying senseless deaths.  It’s way past time to end abortion in the greatest country on earth.

Mr. President, allow the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to become the law of the land and watch as miracles occur.  Watch as babies doomed to die agonizing deaths are allowed to be born and to express their universally unique lives.  Sign the bill and take the political heat from the abortion industry and walk away, knowing you did the right thing.

 Mr. President:

I believe in giving credit where credit is due.  Last night’s Delta Force operation that killed ISIS big shot Abu Sayyaf once again showed the terrorists of the world that going up against America’s finest is a no-win situation. Our military heroes are willing to do whatever it takes to protect our freedom and nothing we could ever do could repay them for the sacrifices they make daily. Since you authorized the mission in your role as Commander in Chief, you deserve the thanks and gratitude of a grateful nation.  I’ve called you out on numerous occasions over the past couple of years for your ineptitude and incompetence, but you got it right this time.

Now that you’ve done a good thing, why not continue the trend?  The House passed a slightly watered-down version of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act this week.  While it’s far from perfect, it will save lives.  All you have to do is push it through the Senate, withdraw your threat to veto it, and let it become the law of the land. Countless thousands of children who would otherwise be killed will get their chance at life with the simple stroke of your pen.  Mr. President, on what moral basis could you possibly oppose a bill designed to save unborn children from agonizing deaths?

Sir, polling data and politics should not be considered when it comes to saving children’s’ lives.  There will be plenty of time later to play politics and push your leftist agenda, but this is just too important.  Last night you made the call, but our Delta Force heroes did the heavy lifting.  When it comes to getting the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to your desk for your signature, it’s your turn to do some heavy lifting.  You wield enormous influence in your position, and a signal from you that you support this bill is all it will take to get it across the finish line.

Mr. President, you, me, and every one of the Delta Force heroes that made us proud last night were all into our 20th week of life at one point, just like the children this bill would protect.  We all made it to birth and beyond due to the kindness and love of others.  Now it’s our turn to pay it forward.  In this case you can do more than me and even the Delta Force.  There is no downside to standing up for life. Mr. President, stand up for America’s unborn children and protect their right to life in the greatest country on earth.
