Letter to John Q. Public

John/Jane Q. Public

 April 19, 2014

 Mr./Ms. Public:

I know you’re busy.  We all are.  Trying to make a living and raising a family, while dealing with an increasingly oppressive government, leaves precious little time for anything else.  Most of you don’t know, and some just don’t care, that while we go about our daily lives, dealing with the problems that affect only our lives, thousands of unborn children are being killed in our country every day.

Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry are counting on enough Americans remaining silent so they can continue to kill over 1 million innocent children every year.  They know that a massive outcry against an industry that makes billions of dollars killing baby boys and girls will bring an end to the slaughter and an end to their gravy train.

Our complacency has allowed 56 million unborn and newly born children to be killed since 1973 in a country that claims to represent freedom and the Right to life for all.  Our continued complacency will allow another innocent child to be killed every 26 seconds to feed the bloodlust of a brutal abortion industry and the accepted social norms of a country that encourages an entitlement mentality while discouraging personal responsibility.

If enough of us continue to do nothing, our lives will go on, and 3,500 new ones will end every day.  Most of us would fight to the death to protect our children, so why won’t we simply speak out to protect any child?  At 60 years old I’m at a certain stage of development in my life.  At 3 years and 8 months respectively, my grandsons are both at certain stages of development in their lives.  We’re all living human beings and have all been so since the moment of our conception.  Every unborn child killed today, tomorrow, or the next day are just the same; living human beings at a certain stage of development in their universally unique lives.

If we do nothing to stop the killing we do nothing but further devalue every human life.  How can you help?  Contact your Senators and ask them to bring the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act up for a vote in the Senate.  Ask them to pass the bill and to over-ride President Obama’s promised veto.  Support pro-life political candidates in the upcoming elections.  Contact your state representatives and ask them to support pro-life legislation on the state level.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”  If we don’t stand for life, what will we stand for?  I stand for life and will fight for our children until my dying breath.  I respectfully ask that you do the same.

Letter to President Obama #77

I’m at the point now that just the simple sight or sound of the worst President in history kicks my blood pressure up a couple notches.  Listening to him on Good Friday drone on about climate change, previously called global cooling, then global warming, when there are so many real problems he should be dealing with, reminded me that I hadn’t written him a letter in a while.

Good Friday was the last day of a very short life for over 3,000 unborn children in America and my patience has long since passed for morally bankrupt empty suits like our President, who choose to do nothing as the killing goes on.  He could end the killing with a stroke of his pen, just as easily as he signs the scorecard from his latest round of golf but he makes the conscious choice not to.

Letter #77 to a pen-pal I would rather not have is on its way to the White House shredder.

The White House

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

April 18, 2014

 Mr. President:

Today I had the extreme misfortune of seeing your ugly mug on the news as you once again stated “Climate change is real.  It’s a fact.  It’s settled science.”   Guess what?  I agree with you.  Climate change is real.  It happens all the time.  It always has and always will.  Problem is; we don’t have a damn thing to do with it.

Instead of firing up your teleprompter and yammering on about things we have no control over, like climate change, how about talking about things we can control and can change; like laws that allow our unborn children to be killed before and even during their birth?  Talk about a return to our founding values and the Rights of life, liberty, and freedom they recognized as their foundation.

Mr. President, borrowing a phrase that you and your fellow political hacks love to use, let me be clear; I don’t care what you think about climate change, all I care about is that you are presiding over a country that kills its children by the thousands every day, while you not only do nothing; but actively support the industry that does the killing.

Mr. President, you’ve made it clear in your second term that you intend to rule by Executive fiat.  You’ve stated that you have a pen and a phone and that you will go around Congress if need be.  Do it.  Sign an Executive Order today outlawing the killing of innocent children and protecting their Right to life; a Right that was granted by the One who sacrificed His only Son for all of us 2,000 years ago.

In two days the world will celebrate Easter; the Resurrection.  What better time to end the killing of innocent children and to reaffirm the sanctity of every human life, at every stage of its development?  Mr. President, deep down, you and everyone on the pro-abortion side knows viscerally that killing another human being is wrong.  You know that abortion results in the death of a child; a child that was granted the gift of life by the Creator of the Universe.  You know that the Universe has a perfect accounting system and that we will all be held accountable if we continue on our present course.

Mr. President, when the time comes for me to account for my actions in this life I’ll have a lot of things to answer for; some good, some bad.  When that time comes, I will hold my head high when asked if I did everything I could to protect His children, and gladly accept whatever reward or penalty He deems fit.  I hope you can do the same.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Thanks to the left leaning media in our country, most Americans can’t tell you who Kermit Gosnell is. They don’t want to tell you that he may be the worst serial killer in our history.  They don’t want you to know that there are more Gosnells out there, maybe even worse than him, killing unborn and newly born children every day.  If they had covered Kermit Gosnell’s trial with the same zeal they covered the Trayvon Martin case, the whole world would know about the house of horrors he operated in plain view of the Philadelphia authorities, without a single inspection for nearly 2 decades.

If the media had covered Dr. Gosnell’s trial they would have had to expose the ugly truth about America’s abortion industry.  They would have described how he would kill newly born children by snipping their spinal chords.  You would have seen the filthy clinic he operated, strewn with jars of aborted babies and body parts, its blood stained floors a testament to the massacre that occurred there on a daily basis.

Last August and September I wrote the following letters to Inmate #68012-066, better known as Dr. Kermit Gosnell.

Dr. Gosnell:

I like to think that somewhere deep inside everyone, no matter what they’ve done, and no matter how many innocent lives they’ve taken, there still lies some good.  Sir, where the good lies in you, only God knows.  You’ve been given the rest of your life to contemplate the carnage and trail of death you’ve left in your wake.  If there is any good in you I suggest you take this time to explain to the world how you wasted your life in the pursuit of money and at the expense of countless thousands of innocent children.

As a pro-life blogger, I’m trying to understand how a trained physician could do the things you did.  I hope to begin a conversation with you as I explore the depravity of America’s abortion industry.  Since you have nothing better to do as you wait for your day of reckoning, I ask that you engage me in this exchange and tell your side of the story.

Sir, the squalid clinic where you murdered an untold number of post-birth children stands as a testament to the brutality of America’s abortion industry.  The account of how you were able to openly perform late-term abortions for 17 years without a single inspection of your facility by either the Philadelphia Public Health Department or the Pennsylvania Department of Health speaks volumes to those of us who see many in government as willing accomplices to monsters like you.

I can only imagine the horrific visions of your life as a child killer as they stream through your consciousness in the dark solitude of your remaining existence. Do you feel any remorse for what you’ve done?  Do you see the lifeless eyes of all the children you killed as you close yours at night?

Now that you’ve lost everything, you risk no further punishment in this life for just telling the truth.  How many post-birth children did you murder?  What was the tipping point that lead you from a promising career as a physician to possibly becoming the worst serial killer in history?  Was it simply the money or did you actually buy in to the pro-abortion ideology of killing innocent children as a matter of convenience; screw the consequences?

Dr. Gosnell, you still have time to change your life, unlike the thousands of children that passed through the one way doors of The Women’s Medical Society.  You can acknowledge your wasted life and reveal the brutal truth about abortion and possibly change some minds and save some lives.

I’ll be publishing my letters to you on my pro-life blog at http://www.prolifepoppop.com.   Should you choose to reply, I’ll publish your replies as well.  I promise to publish your replies verbatim, with no editing on my part. In closing, may God have mercy on your soul.

Dr. Gosnell:

While you’re reaching out to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative and conducting interviews from your prison cell, how about reaching out to the pro-life community.  I, for one, would really like to know what makes an animal like you tick.  Since you have all the time in the world to characterize your crimes against humanity as your personal crusade against poverty, why not take a little time to show some remorse.  Instead of trying to start a dialogue on prison and justice reform, start one on ending abortion.

By some accounts, over 44,000 children entered your clinic alive and left dead.  They did nothing wrong.  They committed no crimes.  You sentenced them to death and killed them for money, and now that the death penalty is off the table for you, you dishonor their lives by trying to justify your actions.  Dr. Gosnell, calling yourself a ‘soldier in the world on poverty’ makes about as much sense as Gomer Pyle calling himself a Navy SEAL.

During the 17 years you were killing children in your Philadelphia hellhole, your colleagues at Planned Parenthood and the rest of the abortion industry were busy killing over 20,000,000 babies.  As a horrifying part of this deadly equation, you were one of the ones they referred the very late-term, about to be born, cases to.  They all knew what you were doing and they were all complicit in your crimes.  They all said nothing and they all had no comment when your slaughterhouse was finally discovered.  Sir, as part of your defense, your attorney argued that the babies whose spinal cords you snipped were already dead.  If they were already dead, why did you have to take any further action?

Dr. Gosnell, you can peel back the curtain on the darkest side of America’s abortion industry.  You can name names and reveal the ugly truth about who did what and who looked the other way while you killed viable and even post-birth children.  You can explain how you were able to kill thousands of children for nearly 2 decades without a single regulatory agency visiting your filthy death house. You know where all the bodies are buried, so to speak.

There are more of you out there, and I want to find them and lock their asses up.  Roe v Wade unleashed a modern day Holocaust on America’s children and one more dead child is one too many.  Why not spend the rest of your miserable life working to save our children instead of trying to justify why you killed so many of them.

My letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Since you have nowhere to go, write back and I’ll publish your reply, unedited.

Priorities

Having recently turned 60, I’ve been assessing what’s important in my life and how I want to spend the rest of it.  I’m well paid for what I do in a rather high-stress job.  In my younger days it was all about the money.  Now the money just doesn’t seem that important.  These days I ask myself if I want to spend the rest of my working life putting in long hours at a job that in the end doesn’t make me feel that I’m working to benefit humanity.  I must confess that during my day job I can’t help but think more and more about my night job; working to end abortion.

I would gladly leave my money and possessions behind today and work full-time towards my goal of ending abortion if I didn’t feel honor bound to provide for my children and grandsons, and the worthy charities my income allows me to support.  It would be disingenuous of me if I didn’t  admit that when I began my quest to bring an end to the killing of unborn children I was concerned about what my friends and family would think about my beliefs.  Now, I don’t care.  I know I’m on the right side of this issue and no amount of negative feedback, rejection, or even hatred, should either be directed at me, will ever diminish my commitment.

I’m committed to changing a society where more black children died by abortion in New York City last year than were allowed to be born.  I’m committed to ending the involuntary funding of abortion giants like Planned Parenthood with taxes paid by pro-life Americans.  Whether my daily work is read by 1 or 1,000,000, I’ll continue to fight for every child.  Whether I’m able to change even one mind or save one life, I will not stop.

I feel a sense of urgency to put as much of my work out here as quickly as possible.  I don’t know if this means that my time is short or that maybe there is a chance that something I write will make a difference.  Either way, I’ll continue to work for every child’s right to life until I no longer can.  The 3,500 children killed in America today were simply trying to live.  They did nothing wrong and were not able to defend their God given right to life.  I will.

While I welcome any help I can get to end the killing, I will persevere alone if need be.  There are many fine pro-life organizations out there with much larger followings than I have, all fighting every day to save our children.  I really don’t care who wins the fight for life as long as it is won.  If I’m able to play a small part in the victory, so be it.  If not, I’ll look back and know that I did my best.

The 1.2 million children doomed to die this year in America’s abortion mills deserve better.  They deserve their chance to just have a chance, just like all of us.  So far in my life, I’ve never encountered a problem that got better or went away if I just ignored it.  America’s abortion mills won’t close and the killing of our children won’t stop if we just look the other way and pretend it isn’t happening.   I won’t look the other way.  Will you?

Last September I wrote my third letter to NARAL; the National Abortion Rights Action League.  I wrote this letter as my preemie grandson napped beside me.  As he slept peacefully,  Planned Parenthood was killing his future friends and NARAL was busy trying to make it easier for them to do so.  Parasitic organizations like NARAL are the symbolic barnacles clinging to the hull of the death ship Planned Parenthood.  All they want is their little piece of the multi-billion dollar pie that America’s abortion industry represents.  They don’t care how many unborn children have to die just for them to exist; they just want to get paid.

As I write my annual check to the IRS today, I’m reminded that Planned Parenthood and NARAL are tax-exempt and don’t have to worry about paying taxes.  Their only concern is how many babies they can kill this year and how much money they can make.  Planned Parenthood will receive over half a billion of our tax dollars this year and NARAL is determined to get their share.

On September 16 of last year, as my grandson slept and the killing continued, I composed the following letter:

NARAL Pro-Choice America

1156 15th Street

Suite 700

Washington, D.C.  20005

Attn:    Ilyse Hogue

September 16, 2013

Ms. Hogue:

Every time I visit your website I’m stunned by the distortion and lies you continue to spread about abortion.  Your references to safe abortion are absurd to the nth degree.  No logical argument can be made for calling a procedure designed specifically to kill a human being safe.  Your assertion that abortion is a right is equally absurd.  While abortion is legal in many cases, it is not a right.  Just so you know, rights cannot be conferred by law; they can only be protected by it.  No woman has ever been born or ever will be born with the right to kill her unborn child.  Rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are a package deal and are endowed upon each of us by our Creator at the very instant He grants us His animating spark of life; starting each of us on our individually unique journeys.

Ms. Hogue, my pro-life philosophy stems from my role as a father and grandfather.  Just before I composed this letter I fed my 5 week old grandson.  He was due to be born on the 14th but made his initial appearance 5 weeks early.  As I watch him sleep I can’t imagine life without him and still can’t believe that, as I fed him, the abortion industry you promote was killing his future friends and playmates at a rate of 1 every 26 seconds.  1 out of 3 of his future friends will be killed before they are born.

Ms Hogue, you advocate a pro-choice position on abortion.  You and I both know that pro-choice is the same as pro-abortion; all that’s lacking is the courage to say what you really believe.  I have the courage to say what I believe.  I believe that every unborn child, without exception, has the right to be born and is endowed with the same right to life as you and I.  While I’m saying what I believe; I also believe it is the epitome of hypocrisy for anyone who was allowed to be born to take a stand against allowing any other human being the same accommodation.

Despite what you profess, your cause is all about money and power.  If the abortion industry truly believes in what it does they should kill babies for free.  If you truly believe in your mission to protect, what you advocate to be, a woman’s right to have her child killed, you should stop accepting a salary for your services.

Ms. Hogue, after every visit to your website I feel that I’ve been in the presence of pure evil.  Your organization’s dedication to insuring that millions of innocent children can be killed as a simple matter of choice is a staggering display of utter disregard for the most basic of human rights; the right to life.  In spite of everything your organization has done and everything that it stands for, I believe in redemption.  Change your mission statement and work to protect our unborn children.  It’s never too late to do what you know in your heart is right.

My letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Should you choose to reply, I’ll publish it, unedited.

Now that Spring has finally arrived, I can’t wait for every weekend to get here.  That’s when my 3 year old grandson and I get to run and play outside for hours.  When I’m having fun with him I try to put my fight to close the doors of America’s abortion mills on the back burner for just a couple hours.  On those days I wish the fun would never stop and that the reality I write about every day would turn out to be just a bad dream.

It’s Monday and I’m already thinking about next weekend.  It’s also my 30th anniversary and I’m spending the night writing to Planned Parenthood.  What could possibly go wrong?

Planned Parenthood Federation of America

1110 Vermont Ave.  NW

Suite 300

Washington, D.C.  20005

Attn:    Cecile Richards

 April 14, 2014

Ms. Richards:

Although you haven’t answered any of my letters yet, I’m still hoping that one day you will.  I’ll make it easy for you.  Answer the following questions:

  1. When your people perform an abortion are they removing a blob of flesh or killing a baby?
  2. Should you be allowed to kill babies who have developed to the point that they can survive outside the womb?
  3. Do you care that a late-term baby feels the pain of being killed during an abortion?
  4. Do you feel that a mother should be able to have her unborn child killed as a simple matter of convenience?
  5. Do you think that advocating for easier access to abortion is a noble cause?
  6. Do you regret anything you’ve done while leading Planned Parenthood?
  7. Do you really believe that none of your 3 children were alive until the moment of their birth?
  8. Are you proud of the fact that your organization killed over 340,000 children last year?
  9. Do you ever wonder if you’ve wasted your life for a cause that has resulted in suffering and death for millions of innocent children?
  10. When does a human being become a human being?

Ms. Richards, I’m under no delusion that you will actually answer my questions, but at some point we both know you will be held accountable for all your actions. When that time finally comes, I fear it will probably be too late for you to make amends.

Today is my 30th wedding anniversary.  I’ve been blessed with 2 wonderful children and 2 equally wonderful grandsons.  I can’t imagine life without either of them.  During my 30 year marriage America’s abortion industry has killed nearly 40 million children.  That’s 40 million children who will never feel the love of a parent or grandparent.  That’s 40 million miracles the world will never get to see.

Every child Planned Parenthood killed today could have someday run and played in their grandparents’ backyard, just like my grandson did yesterday.  The 3,500 children killed today in America’s abortion mills eclipsed the tragic death toll of 9/11.  Every day in America represents another 9/11 for our unborn children.

So, Ms. Richards, a bunch of radical nuts killed 3,000 people on 9/11 and it was a national tragedy.  You and your colleagues kill more children every day and most of my fellow Americans say nothing.  9/11 was an act of terrorism and what you do is termed “women’s’ reproductive health care.”  Whatever you call it, they both result in the killing of innocent human beings.

One more question: What will it take to make you stop?

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

April 13, 2014

The hypocrisy of the pro-abortion left is maddening.  While self-professed, devout Catholics like Nancy Pelosi and Dick Durbin fight to protect what they call a woman’s Right to kill her unborn child, they conveniently ignore the teachings of their church that specifically prohibit abortion for any reason.  Last December Pope Francis made it abundantly clear in his “Evangelii Gaudium” that the church would not alter its position on abortion.  Just last week the Pope further reinforced this position by declaring abortion an abominable crime when he stated the following:  “Life once conceived, must be protected with the utmost care; abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.”

Last December 3, with Christmas fast approaching, I wrote the following letter to President Obama.  I wanted to communicate my growing frustration over his utter disregard for America’s unborn children and my disdain for the most corrupt administration in our nation’s history,

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

December 3, 2013

Mr. President:

Last Tuesday in his “Evangelii Gaudium” Pope Francis stated with absolute clarity that the Catholic Church will not change its teachings on abortion.  The Progressive whims of liberalism will never shake the eternal truth that every life is priceless and deserving of all the protections afforded to every other life.  But, not even the Pope can persuade America’s left-wing pro-abortion crowd to back it down.

Up next in both houses of Congress comes the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2013; the pro-abortion crowd’s latest attempt to dehumanize unborn children by portraying abortion as a women’s health issue.  Anyone with even half a brain knows that killing an unborn child has nothing to do with women’s health and everything to do with promoting a liberal agenda where actions have no consequences and personal responsibility is an unnecessary inconvenience.

I will say that the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2013 is a ballsy, in your face piece of legislation.  It makes no bones about the fact that its sole purpose is to prevent States from passing TRAP (Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers) laws.  They even use their ‘go to’ phrase that their goal is to keep abortion safe and legal.  They want to keep the killing of an innocent human being ‘safe and legal.’  The hypocrisy is palpable.

I see the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2013 as a move of desperation on the part of your administration and the pro-abortion wing of your party.  While you’ve been busy destroying our economy and promoting one of the greatest disasters in the history of America, ObamaCare, pro-life States have been passing legislation that restricts the killing of our unborn children.  In order to achieve the Socialist Utopia you and your followers dream of, kids have to die.  In order to satisfy Planned Parenthood’s business plan of killing hundreds of thousands of babies every year, a federal statute needs to be in place to give the Courts cover when they void the State statutes.

Mr. President, the insidiously corrupt nature of your administration is truly mind-numbing.  You apologize to the world for the success of America, while destroying our economy, while taking over our health care, while stating “God bless Planned Parenthood”, while covering up the IRS, NSA, Fast & Furious, Benghazi, and Solyndra scandals, while allowing Iran to move closer to nuclear weapons, and while throwing our friends in Israel under the bus.  It appears that being an enemy of the country you swore to defend can keep an abject failure of a President quite busy.

Christmas is coming up and I’m sure I’m not on your Christmas card list.  That’s OK; you’re not on mine either.  Here’s a novel idea.  Declare December an abortion-free month in America and allow over 100,000 doomed babies to enjoy the gift of life.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

April 12, 2014

Last summer, after the House had passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, I began writing to various Senators, most of them with long histories of supporting the unrestricted killing of our unborn children, urging them to get behind this bill in the Senate.  Two of those letters are included below.  Since Harry Reid carries the water for Barack Obama, the most pro-abortion President in our history, there is virtually no hope of him allowing this bill to be voted upon in the Senate while he is the Majority Leader.  While our children are being slaughtered daily by the thousands, I refuse to give up hope, and will keep trying to make our political weasels on the pro-abortion side of the aisle as uncomfortable as possible with their conscious choice to look the other way and pretend that their inaction is not enabling infanticide in my country.

The following letters were written to Barbara Mikulski, one of my state’s most embarrassing contributions to the Senate, and Barbara Boxer, California’s pride and joy.

Senator Barbara Mikulski

212 W. Main Street, Suite 200

Salisbury, Md. 21801

July 18, 2013

Senator Mikulski:

Majority Leader Reid has signaled that he may be receptive to allowing a Senate vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.  As a pro-life advocate I support this legislation.  Although I support the Right to life for all unborn children, I know that this fight will not be easy and will not be won quickly or without setbacks.

Senator, like many Americans, I’m a parent and grandparent.  I treasure my children and grandchildren.  My 2 year old grandson is the joy of my life and we are anxiously awaiting the birth of his little brother in September.  I believe that my unborn grandson is just as much alive and human as you, me, and the rest of our family members.  I also believe that it is unconscionable that my daughter could walk into any abortion clinic in Maryland tomorrow and have my unborn, yet alive, grandson killed as a simple matter of convenience.

Senator, the preferred method of abortion for children 20 weeks old and older is dilation and evacuation.  This procedure is performed by literally ripping the unborn, pain-capable child apart, limb by limb. I can’t imagine the indescribable agony and suffering these children endure as they are killed in this manner.  I also can’t imagine a civilized society allowing this procedure to be performed one more time.

Senator, I can think of no higher calling in life than the honor of protecting the most vulnerable among us; our unborn and newly born children.  I don’t know where you stand on abortion and I really don’t care.  What I care about is saving lives and insuring that every unborn child has the opportunity to experience the same Right to life that you and I were granted.

Senator Mikulski, an incontrovertible fact is that 100% of the politicians opposed to the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act were allowed to be born.  Wherever you stand on abortion, allowing pain-capable children to be slaughtered at the hands of an abortionist cannot be justified.

I therefore respectfully request that you speak out in favor of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and vote for its passage in the Senate.  Our children and grandchildren deserve no less.

Senator Barbara Boxer

112 Hart Senate Office Building

Washington, D.C.  20510

July 23, 2013

Senator Boxer:

Even though we live on different sides of the country we’re united as Americans.  As a pro-life American I dream of a day when all our unborn children are allowed to exercise the same Right to life that you and I treasure.  By now I’m sure you’ve figured out that we are on opposite sides of the debate when it comes to abortion.  In spite of our differences, I’m sure we can agree as parents and grandparents that saving our pain-capable unborn children from the indescribable agony of abortion is the right thing to do.

Senator, the House has done its part and passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act; now it’s your turn.  No reasonable person can justify the torturous killing of a living, but unborn 5 month old child.  You have spoken out in the past against waterboarding and subjecting murderous terrorists to physical and mental discomfort.  Please speak out now against killing innocent children.

Majority Leader Reid has indicated that he may allow a vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.  The least you can do is consider this bill with an open mind and an open heart.  Think of your own children and imagine the void in your life if they had never been given the chance to be born.

Senator Boxer, at 20 weeks old and older, unborn children are killed with a procedure known as dilation and evacuation. This procedure is performed by literally ripping the living, pain-capable child apart, limb by limb.  No child should ever have to die in this manner; and as a politician who has spoken out against torture, I can’t imagine how you could justify your opposition to a bill designed to protect them.  You and your fellow Senators have a chance to make history with this bill and the opportunity to save untold thousands of innocent children.

I plan to spend the rest of my life fighting for the lives of our unborn children.  No child should fall asleep tonight nestled safely in its mother’s womb, only to suffer a ghastly death tomorrow at the hands of an abortionist.  Please join me in protecting these children.

Senator Boxer, I respectfully request that you speak out in favor of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and vote for its passage in the Senate.  America’s children deserve no less.

As a resident of The Socialist Republic of Maryland, I’m used to being governed by far-left, clueless bureaucrats.  Our current Governor, Martin O’Malley, is as far-left as they get.  He’s also in the tank for the pro-abortion lobby.  Governor O’Malley fought tooth and nail to abolish the death penalty in Maryland, sparing condemned murderers and rapists from from the ultimate punishment.  Apparently, our unborn children weren’t as high a priority for him.  So, I had an idea.  Why not abolish the death penalty for Maryland’s unborn children and show them the same mercy we grant to convicted killers?

I ran this idea by the Governor last August with the following letter.  His response; the sound of crickets chirping.

Governor Martin O’Malley

Governor O’Malley:

I know you’re busy so I’ll get right to my point.  Since the death penalty has been repealed in Maryland, I propose that our state’s unborn children be given the same accommodation.  The Guttmacher Institute estimates that 34,290 abortions were performed in Maryland in 2008.  Incidentally, that’s the last year anything resembling reliable data was available and 2 years after the state stopped tracking abortions.  Since Maryland is one of the most abortion-friendly states in the country, I’m curious as to why the Md. Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene decided in September of 2006 that they would no longer track or report the number of abortions performed in our state.  I’m gonna go out on a limb and speculate that maybe they just didn’t want people like me to know how many innocent children are killed in Maryland’s abortion mills every year.

Governor, I think it’s safe to say that you and I probably don’t agree on much of anything.  We both know you’re toying with a run for the Presidency in 2016 so it’s a no-brainer that you don’t want to stir up the pro-abortion crowd and risk losing all the money they’ll be funneling to your campaign, so the chance of you seriously considering my proposal are just short of nil.  Think about it though.  Condemned criminals convicted of unspeakable crimes are under no threat of death in Maryland while unborn children are killed for a fee with virtually no restrictions, and little, if any, government oversight.

Speaking of government oversight, I recently wrote to both the Maryland Board of Physicians and the Md. Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene about a physician operating an unlicensed, cash only, abortion clinic in Bladensburg, Md. This doctor was operating the abortion clinic while on probation as a condition of a 2 year suspension of his medical license.  How about looking into this since the only communication I’ve received from the State of Md. is a 2 sentence letter from DHMH acknowledging that my complaint had been handed off to them from the Md. Board of Physicians.

Governor, as a pro-life conservative living in one of the most left leaning states in America, I’m used to incompetency in government and bureaucrats intruding into every aspect of my life.  I’m a big boy and I can deal with the bean- counters.  I refuse, however, to live in a state known as a haven for late-term abortionists without speaking out and drawing attention to the problem.  In future letters I’ll name names and ask for your help.

I’m publishing my letters to you on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  I’ll publish your replies too, should you take the time to do so.  Sir, I’m committed to ending abortion in America.  I invite you to help.

All the work I do for the pro-life movement is in honor of my children and grandchildren.  As my latest grandson reaches the 8 month mark today, I continue to be haunted by the fact that thousands of children die a senseless death every day in America. I refuse to let this stand and I will continue to pester Planned Parenthood and all the usual suspects until the killing ends.  America’s abortion industry is a cancer on our society and is sucking the life out of our moral foundation as well as our unborn children.

While children in Appalachia and all over America go to bed hungry every night, we continue to send hundreds of millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood.  Most of my fellow Americans have never heard of Cecile Richards, but most of them can tell you who is competing on American Idol.  We’ve lost our way and grown accustomed to an ‘instant gratification, damn the consequences’ society.  We’ve become a nation that kills over a million of its own children every year.  People like me can blame Planned Parenthood and everyone in America’s abortion industry, but they would cease to exist if there was no longer a demand for their deadly services.  In the end, we’re all responsible for what we allow to be done to our children, and we all have a moral imperative to end the killing.

I try to stay in touch with Planned Parenthood’s president.  Today’s letter is my latest effort.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America

Attn:    Cecile Richards

 Ms. Richards:

My youngest grandson is 8 months old today.  During the 8 months since his birth, nearly 900,000 children have been killed by America’s abortion industry.  While he eats, grows, and plays, 1 out of 3 of his future playmates and friends are being slaughtered.

Ms. Richards, I’m sure by now your receptionist or whoever you designate to read my letters is getting sick of hearing from me.  Quite frankly, I’m getting tired of writing to you.  Let’s make a deal.  You stop doing what you do and I’ll stop doing what I do.

You may not realize it, but Planned Parenthood and your colleagues in the abortion industry are working your way out of business.  At the rate you are killing children, by the time this generation is of child-bearing age, you will have killed many of your future clients.  Like it or not, when you’re in the business of killing for a living it never ends well.  And like it or not, as long as you keep killing children I’ll keep writing letters to your receptionist.

I must admit that I’m at a bit of a competitive disadvantage with Planned Parenthood.  At Planned Parenthood a baby comes in alive and goes out dead, day after day after day; no originality, no change. In alive, out dead.  Every day I have to come up with a different way to piss off you and your friends. Every time it has to be a little different than the last.

Ms. Richards, you have to know that you and everyone in your industry are pariahs. If what you do every day was for the betterment of humanity why would all the world’s major religions condemn your practices?  If you saved thousands of lives every day do you really think people like me would make it their life’s mission to put you out of business?

Ms. Richards, I’m not important.  You’re not important.  What’s really important is that every child be allowed to be born.  What’s really important is that America returns to a time when every new child is a welcomed addition to its family and the world.

From now to the time my youngest grandson experiences his first whole summer, America’s abortion industry will have killed another half million children. You and Planned Parenthood will have ended another fiscal year, having killed over 300,000 children, while raking in over half a billion dollars from the U.S. taxpayers.

Tomorrow, as your receptionist reads my latest letter, he or she can rest assured that my next one is on the way.  One last time; you stop doing what you do and I’ll stop doing what I do.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.
