Letter to President Obama#54

Attn:    President Barack Obama

October 9, 2013

Mr. President:

I’ve written plenty of letters to you since May in which I reference my grandsons as my motivation for fighting to end abortion.  I sincerely hope that your staffer assigned to reading these letters feeds them into the shredder knowing what my grandsons mean to me and how badly I want every unborn child in America to have the opportunity to have a loving relationship with their grandparents.  Mr. President, the only way this can happen is if we stop allowing our children to be killed before they can even be born.

Mr. President, on Saturday I spent the day with my 7 week old grandson.  My day consisted of feeding him, burping him, changing his diaper, holding him until he fell asleep; repeat, repeat, repeat.  During his naps I had time to write letters to you, Planned Parenthood, and various other pro-abortion individuals and organizations.  All considered, a very productive day.  Saturday night was sleepover time for my 2 ½ year old grandson and a Sunday of playing, swimming, rough-housing, a visit to a dinosaur show, followed by more rough-housing and playing.

Mr. President, while I’m enjoying my time with my grandsons I always have in the back of my mind the children who will never feel the love of a grandparent.  On Sunday, as our fun was ending, I began to think about my work week ahead.  I wondered if the staff and abortionists at Planned Parenthood were wrapping up fun weekends with their families and looking forward to what they would start their Monday doing.  As I opened my office on Monday and began crunching the numbers for my latest project, the staffs at Planned Parenthood and the rest of America’s abortion mills opened their offices and began crunching the bodies of their latest tiny victims.  The latest victims of America’s abortion industry spent the weekend nestled in their mothers’ wombs in total innocence, not knowing they were already scheduled to die on Monday.

Allowing our children to be legally killed is a violation of a sacred trust between parents and their children.  Watch any child in the presence of its parents and you can see the unconditional trust they have that they are safe and will be protected from any harm.  A mother walking into a Planned Parenthood clinic and paying to have her living child ripped from her body and killed is the ultimate betrayal of this unspoken, but sacred, trust.

Mr. President, I’m starting to think that you’re not paying attention to my letters.  Actually, I never thought you would.  Thinking about the welfare of your nation’s unborn children has to be a pretty low priority for a President working as hard as he can to destroy the country that they would be born into.  Sir, I will continue my fight against abortion in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who said the following: “He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”  I will never cooperate with it.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Letter to Wendy Davis #4

The Honorable Wendy Davis

P.O. Box 12068

Capitol Station

Austin, Texas  78711

Senator Davis:

So now it’s official; you’re running for Governor of Texas.  As I noted in my previous letters to you, none of which you have answered, all you have to run on is your extreme pro-abortion stance.  Senator, in Texas “that dog don’t hunt.” Try as you might, you can’t spin a filibuster to allow late term babies to be killed on demand into the Governorship of a great state like Texas.  You’ll have the Planned Parenthood goons in your corner with their grab bag of dirty tricks and disgusting campaign tactics, but that’s about it.

Senator, just before I wrote this letter I fed my 7 week old grandson.  He’s napping peacefully now within arm’s reach of me as his perfect body processes the nourishing meal he finished 20 minutes ago.  He is growing and living as nature intended, just like every baby that was killed today was meant to do; just as their Creator intended.  Senator Davis, advocating to allow innocent children to be killed on demand is a losing strategy for a political campaign, and for a society that allows it.  Your friends at Planned Parenthood don’t kill hundreds of thousands of innocent children every year for any socially or morally redeeming cause; they do it for the money, plain and simple.  They will use you as long as you promote their agenda and then you’ll be discarded, just like they did to all the mutilated bodies of every innocent child they killed today; after they collected their fee.

Senator Davis, today is my son’s 27th birthday.  My goal is that his children will be born into a world where abortion is nothing but a painful memory of our past.  Our nation has allowed far too many of its future leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to die a grisly death for the sake of convenience and as sacrifices to a culture of death that feeds on the bodies of our dead children and its disregard for the sanctity of every human life.

Texas is the model for how America can end the slaughter of its unborn children and leaders like Governor Perry have shown that it can be done.  All we need are honorable leaders with the courage to do what they know is right and a society willing to embrace, once again, the Founding principles that made America great.  Unfortunately for you, you’re not that person.

Senator, you recently said the following: “With the right kind of leadership, the great state of Texas will keep its sacred promise that where you started has nothing to do with how far you can go.” You forgot to mention that this only applies if you are allowed to be born.  An unintentional oversight I’m sure.

My letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Should you choose to reply, I’ll publish it, unedited.

Ms. Richards:

As I looked into the eyes of my infant grandson this weekend I saw the gift of life that is priceless beyond description.  At 7 weeks old he is beginning to follow objects with his eyes and appears to be fascinated by all the new sights and sounds he is experiencing for the first time.  Even though his body is hardly bigger than my hand, he is perfectly formed and a vibrant, living human being.  He is totally dependent on the love and kindness of others for his very existence, just like every other human being that has ever lived.  Before he was born he was totally dependent on the love and kindness of his mother even though he was the same universally unique human being he is now and has been from the moment of his conception.  Should he be neglected and allowed to die, or killed intentionally at this stage of his life, our society would consider his death to be a murder under our laws.  Should my daughter have decided to have him killed at any stage of his development before he was born, she could have done so legally under our laws.

My grandson is the same human being he has always been.  The only difference is his current stage of development.  As he grows and matures he will still be the same human being, and when he becomes an old man many years from now he will gradually become dependent once again on the love and kindness of others for his very existence.  So goes life.  We begin our lives at the total mercy of others, grow and become independent, and gradually transition to the end stage of our life where many of us, once again, become dependent on others just like a child.  But we never stop being the same human being we were at the very moment of our conception.

Ms. Richards, the point I’m trying to make here is that the stage of development of any human being does not make them any less of a living human being.  Every time Planned Parenthood kills another baby they are killing a living human being at a particular stage in its life.  Whatever stage of development that happens to be is irrelevant, it is still a living child; a child that has the same divinely endowed right to life that every human being in the history of the world has ever been given.

Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry are screwing around with something they shouldn’t be screwing around with.  Ms. Richards, you don’t kill millions of your fellow human beings without consequences.  You don’t promote a culture of death and work under a business model that’s driven by killing innocent children for money without profound repercussions.  The lives of our innocent children are the Universe’s most priceless gift to the world.  I respectfully request that you stop killing them.

Ms. Richards:

As a pilot, I know that once I’ve reached my assigned altitude and heading I can engage the autopilot, and then the plane practically flies itself.  All I have to do is scan my flight control instruments, monitor engine output and heading, and relax.  If I accidentally or purposefully disengage the autopilot and fail to assume responsibility and control of the aircraft, I’ll crash and burn.  That’s kind of how human life works. Immediately after conception the new life is cruising on autopilot.  The animating spark of life that started each life’s universally unique journey has already programmed every stage of its development into its DNA.  Left alone and allowed to live and grow, the tiny human being will make its entrance into the world and continue to flourish and grow, with the help of its family and the brotherhood of human beings that preceded him or her.

Ms. Richards, every year Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry turns off life’s autopilot for 1.2 million unborn children.  If you and your colleagues simply do nothing, no course corrections, no intervention, no assuming the controls; 1.2 million new lives will enter the world.  Instead, you choose to kill these children, most for just a few hundred bucks, and perpetuate a leftist eugenicist’s dream of weeding out those determined unfit to live.

In keeping with the flight motif of this letter, you and America’s child killing industry are on a Kamikaze mission.   By killing millions of children you are on course to insure the demise of your industry and the country you peddle your culture of death in.  Ms. Richards, at some point you won’t be able to recruit people willing to kill children for a salary.  One day you will wake up and realize that you have dedicated your life to killing more human beings than the combined total of all the tyrants in the history of the world.  I can only hope that you will someday realize the degree of torment and suffering your organization has inflicted upon the innocent children of the country that has given you so much.

Ms. Richards, I feel the pain of every child you will kill today.  I feel the fear and confusion of the mothers you take advantage of.  I feel the fear and the struggle to end the pain that every child being ripped apart must endure.

Ms. Richards, I’m tormented by the realization that hundreds of children will be killed in America while I compose this letter.  I get comfort when I look into the eyes of my grandsons and know that their children and grandchildren will live in a world without abortion.

Letter to President Obama #53

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

October 5, 2013

Mr. President:

In spite of our nation’s financial woes, you spared no expense on your recent trip to Africa.  Air Force transports flew 56 vehicles, including 14 limousines, and 3 truckloads of bullet-proof glass across the Atlantic.  Hundreds of security and support personnel accompanied you.  An aircraft carrier group was stationed close by offshore just in case you needed medical attention or security backup.  The cost to the American taxpayers for this mammoth undertaking; $100 million.  The $100 million price tag for this trip, as big as it is, represents less than 20% of the amount the American taxpayers are forced to give Planned Parenthood every year.

Mr. President, for $100 million you get to fly on a tricked-out jumbo jet and ride around in a fancy limo named The Beast.  You get to stay in the finest hotels and even the 1st dog gets to fly on his own plane.  If my math is right, the 8 day trip works out to about $12.5 million a day.  Based on the most current statistics, the 334,000 children killed by Planned Parenthood last year, and the $542 million given to them, courtesy of the American taxpayers, works out to a little over $1,600.00 per child.  That’s the value our country has placed on the life of a child; $1,600.00.

Mr. President, our children are priceless.  Allowing them to be legally killed and forcing the American taxpayers to subsidize the slaughter is an outrage.  For the umpteenth time, every child from the moment of conception until the natural end of its life has the same right to life that you, me, and every other human being has.  I know it’s not politically correct to refer to abortion as the killing or murder of a child, and I don’t give a crap.  It is what it is.  Sir, America was founded on the principle of equality for all.  Our unborn children deserve their equal share of equality.

As I write this, the partial government shutdown is still going on.  Mr. President, I’ve got news for you.  The government our Founders envisioned was shut down years ago.  The government our Founders envisioned would never be killing its children at a pace of over a million a year. They would not have appointed America as the police force of the world.  They valued the principles of individual freedom and personal responsibility above all else, and would never have taken it upon themselves to grow government to the size where it would take over the healthcare decisions of all its citizens and force them to fund the killing of their own children.

Mr. President, you have made our country the laughing-stock of the world and put us on a course we may never recover from.  You’ve accomplished everything you set out to do and your low-information base has no clue that they will suffer the most from your legacy of abject incompetence and utter disregard for the Constitution.

Ms. Richards:

It’s day 4 of the government shutdown and no one’s world has come to an end; unless you had the misfortune of being an unborn child who’s mother walked into a Planned Parenthood clinic.  Over the past 4 days Planned Parenthood has killed over 4,000 children and America’s abortion industry has killed over 13,000.

I have a suggestion.  Since the government has furloughed its non-essential employees during the shutdown, how about doing the same at Planned Parenthood?  Send your abortionists home since they perform no useful service and are non-essential to the protection of America’s unborn children.  Better yet, furlough yourself.  You collect a salary of well over $300,000.00 a year for running an organization that kills children for a fee; a salary that is covered, in large part, by tax dollars from unwilling contributors like me.

Ms. Richards, the past few days have been a snapshot of what a typical day in America will look like in the very near future unless we get our financial house in order.  Actually, the last few days are something Americans will be begging for a return to when the total effects of ObamaCare and runaway entitlement costs finally causes our economy to crash and burn.  If and when it happens we will have no one to blame but ourselves.  A society that allows millions of its children to be legally killed has no future and deserves no less.

In spite of our problems, I’m convinced that America’s best days are ahead of us.  Step one towards correcting our course is to stop killing our children; our future.  Ms. Richards, eliminating your job, closing the doors of Planned Parenthood and every abortion mill in America, and reinstating a culture of life will put us back on the right course.

The financial fixes for America’s problems are easy.  Changing the moral and social paradigms will be the hard part. Years of indoctrination and misinformation by your industry and leftist ideologues has convinced a large constituency of Americans that working hard and striving to be the best they can be is not the key to success.  They’ve been convinced that any failure on their part to exercise self-control or to be self reliant will be covered by the government by way of food stamps, welfare, earned income tax credits, energy assistance, and the list goes on and on.  They’ve been taught that an unintended pregnancy results in nothing other than a blob of tissue that can be removed at your local Planned Parenthood clinic, also courtesy of the American taxpayers. Ms. Richards, dehumanizing our unborn children is a force multiplier for a leftist ideology that strives to control our lives from cradle to grave.

I refuse to participate in the destruction of my country and the slaughter of its unborn children.  Our divinely inspired Founders knew that an overgrown, out of control government would pose an imminent threat to the survival of our Constitutional Republic.  They knew that when we reached the point where our nation had more takers than givers we were done.  They had already lived through the effects of an oppressive government and left us a written guide on how to avoid it.  The Constitution, a document our current administration and child-killing organizations such as yours choose to ignore, lays out the rights and freedoms we all must enjoy in order to function as a civilized and compassionate society.

Ms. Richards, every day Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry are committing human rights violations by the thousands; killing thousands of innocent children and driving one more nail in the coffin of the greatest nation on earth with every life denied.  One last question:  What will it take to make the killing stop?

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

October 3, 2013

Mr. President:

This week’s government shutdown is proof positive that the federal government is a bloated sewer in need of a major flushing.  If 800,000 government employees are non-essential (your words) then why are me and my fellow citizens being forced to pay their salaries?  I know they won’t get paid during the shutdown but we both know that as soon as the shutdown ends they’ll be paid retroactively.  I have another question.  Will taxpayer funds to the tune of over $1.5 million per day still be flowing into the coffers of Planned Parenthood during the shutdown?  If not, will they be paid retroactively too?

Actually, I have several more questions.  Could you explain to me why the Office of Personnel Management, with your approval, has ruled that members of Congress and the Congressional staff can have elective abortions under your ObamaCare insurance exchanges in direct violation of the law?  Since 1983 the Smith Amendment has prohibited the use of federal funds for abortion expenses and administrative costs related to abortion.  Under what authority can you arbitrarily void any provision of current law?  I know that as a leftist dictator, the law, in your eyes, is whatever you deem it to be on any given day; but that’s not how we do it in America.  Maybe they didn’t teach you this in the Indonesian mudrassas you were educated in.

Mr. President, go ahead and play your little ego games and mine is bigger than yours comparisons with Congress.  I’ll continue to work towards a shutdown that will actually save lives; the shutdown of Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry.  Sir, every day that you and Congress keep playing your game of chicken, America’s abortion mills will still be churning out over 3,000 dead children.  Every day that you do nothing to stop the slaughter, over 3,000 more will die a horrible death.

Mr. President, I see life as a challenge to each of us regarding our priorities and what we’re willing to take a stand for.  We can choose to go along to get along and hope that someone else stands up against injustice, or we can choose to help those who can’t help themselves; to hell with the consequences.  That’s where I’m at in my life.  I know, without reservation, that I am here to help save the world’s children.  I may lose everything, alienate everyone in my life, and may fail miserably in my endeavor; I don’t know.  All I do know is that this is too important to worry about myself, and I know in my heart that what I’m working towards is the right thing.

Mr. President, in a perfect world we would have a President who works for the greater good of all the citizens in his country.  We would have a President who fights for the lives of his nation’s unborn children and promotes a culture of life, not a culture of government controlled healthcare.  Mr. President, I have one final question.  Does the government shutdown mean the person you pay to not answer my letters will now not be paid to not answer my letters?  Read it again S-L-O-W-L-Y.

Mr. President:

As you know, or as you should know, the Hyde Amendment prohibits the use of federal dollars to fund abortion.  As I’m sure you also know, since you’re behind it, Planned Parenthood receives over $500 million every year from the federal government.  I, for one, am beyond outraged that even one penny of my hard-earned tax dollars is given to the world’s most prolific child killer.  I work hard to support my family and contribute to worthy charities, not to pay for abortions.  Since our tax code consists of tens of thousands of pages of undecipherable legalese and assorted gobbledy-gook, how about adding a few more pages to carve out a conscience provision for those of us who don’t want our tax dollars to be used as blood money?   I’m willing to pay my fair share for most things the government sticks its nose into, but not for killing babies.

Mr. President, America has reached a tipping point that our Framers warned about.  We’ve reached the point where most Americans are afraid of their government and what it can do to them.  Our Constitutional Republic was designed to function effectively and efficiently when the government fears its citizens and what they can do to it.

Sir, healthcare is a major point of leverage the government uses to control its citizens; to instill fear and extort compliance from them.  ObamaCare will not only bankrupt our country, it will make getting an abortion easier and getting lifesaving care more difficult.  It will literally place decisions regarding who lives and who dies, and who gets the medical care they need in the hands of bureaucrats, not doctors and their patients.  Under ObamaCare, pregnancy will be considered a pre-existing condition and state insurance exchanges will be forced to fund over 111,000 abortions every year. These same insurance exchanges will be subsidized with federal tax dollars.

Mr. President, no American of conscience should be forced to fund the killing of innocent children and no medical professional of conscience should be forced to perform or participate in an abortion procedure.  No medical facility or religiously affiliated hospital should be forced to perform abortions or provide contraceptive services.  All these scenarios will occur once ObamaCare is fully implemented.

Mr. President, you are about to destroy what took over 230 years and countless millions of lives to defend and preserve.  Even you, despite your lack of executive experience, have a rudimentary understanding of our Constitution and you know what the ultimate result of your radical agenda will be.  My focus is on America’s children being allowed to be born.  I’d like to think they will still have a country to be born into.

Ms. Richards:

The entire country, at least everyone who cares enough to be informed, is worrying about a government shutdown; except me.  I’m worried about how many babies Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry will kill today, tomorrow, and the next day.  I’m worried about the culture of death that’s permeating the world; a world where Islamic radical nut jobs routinely torture and behead anyone they consider to be an infidel, a world where politicians pursue an agenda that’s best for them, not their constituents, and a world teetering on the edge of moral and financial collapse because honor and integrity have been relegated to alphabetized words in a dictionary rather than the foundational basis for all our lives.  A government shutdown will result in all non-essential personnel being furloughed.  Maybe it’s only me, but if they are non-essential, why is the government employing them in the first place? Hopefully, a government shutdown will result in a suspension of the $1.5 million Planned Parenthood gets every day from the U.S. government; courtesy of unwilling taxpayers like me.

Ms. Richards, the children being killed by your organization at a rate of 1 every 94 seconds are our last great hope. Unless you kill them, they will enter the world free of hate, bias, and negativity.  They will enter the world as pure, unlimited potential; ready and willing to fix our broken societies and mend the fences of hatred and mistrust that continue to embroil our world in constant war and human suffering.  All we have to do is let them be born, just like all of us were.

Ms. Richards, infanticide, aside from lining your pockets, serves no useful purpose.  Killing innocent, unborn children for money flies against any conceivable concept of rational human behavior, and calling it women’s reproductive health care confirms that you know what you are doing is wrong.  3,300 unborn American children will die today in the name of women’s reproductive health care.  We will never know which one of these children would have been the next Jonas Salk, Michelangelo, or Martin Luther King, Jr.

Every child killed by abortion becomes an angel, much too early.  Abortion does more than just kill innocent children.  Every mother who has an abortion is still a mother; she just becomes the mother of a dead child. Every worker in an abortion clinic dies a little more inside, every time they end another human life; for nothing more than a paycheck.  The unintended consequences of abortion drag a society ever closer to the abyss of moral oblivion.  If America continues to kill over a million of its children every year we all deserve the consequences of our actions or inaction.

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

September 30, 2013

Mr. President:

As a pro-life blogger my goals are simple.  Allow every child the opportunity to be born.  There are no guarantees in life and it’s up to every human being to make the most of the life they’ve been given.  It’s also up to the parents and grandparents of the world to insure that our children have access to an educational system that allows them to discover and express their universally unique abilities in an educational environment that recognizes and nurtures their individual strengths and weaknesses.  Common Core, pretty much like everything else the government gets involved in, fails our children miserably by forcing educators to teach to a test rather than tailoring their instruction to fit the individual needs and capabilities of their students.

Mr. President, a country that allows nearly a third of its children to be killed before they can be born, is now intent on imposing a ‘one size fits all’ educational curriculum on our remaining children; creating a generation of mind-numbed robots.  Apparently, in the minds of government bureaucrats, mediocre is the new normal.  I have no problem with setting achievement standards and performance criteria for America’s students, but forcing education professionals to funnel all their students through an instructional template designed to herd the maximum number of kids to a magic number is not the way to go.

Sir, Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion mills have killed 56,000,000 of our children since 1973.  We can’t afford to deny today’s children the opportunity to realize their full potential.  We can’t afford to hold back the best and brightest so a bunch of politicians can pat themselves on the back while they point to a meaningless number on a meaningless bar graph with the only measurable result being the dumbing down of our children.

Mr. President, saving the world’s children from the scourge of abortion is my number one priority.  Insuring that they are able to reach their full potential is next.  Common Core will do nothing other than create a generation of automatons who all got a gold star, a piece of paper telling them they were the best, and a total lack of knowledge in the power of critical thinking.

Here are a couple suggestions.  Scrap Common Core, scrap the Dept. of Education, let the states decide how to educate their children, and resign the Presidency immediately.  Tell you what; I’ll settle for 3 out of 4.  You pick.
