Ms. Hogue:

The innocence of a child is lost forever when its mother exercises her choice to have it killed before it has a chance to be born.  Innocent children are gifts to the world; gifts that are here to remind us to enjoy the simple pleasures, to show us how to live without hate in our hearts, to live every day like it’s our last, and to see anger as the waste of time and effort that it is.

Ms. Hogue, my 2 year old grandson went to the circus a couple days ago and afterwards advised me that his favorite new colors were elephant and pony.  I realize that to someone like you, who actively works to make it easier and more convenient for a mother to kill her unborn child, this may sound like gibber jabber.  To me, his Pop Pop who loves him more than life itself, it was a brilliant insight from the mindset of pure innocence as he described the latest new discoveries in his young life.

Ms. Hogue, I’m a student of semantics and BS, and after reviewing your mission and website it’s clear that your organization is proficient in twisting the former to sell the unsellable and piling on the latter to make it appear that you have anything that vaguely resembles a cogent, logical argument for your cause.  Try as you may, selling pro-choice as anything other than advocating for the elective killing of unborn children is a venture doomed to failure.  Your amateurish abuse of syntax and clever abbreviations while trying to portray your cause as a noble pursuit is about as flawed as Hillary Clinton making another run for the Presidency with a bumper sticker saying ‘Monica Lewinsky’s Ex-Boyfriend’s Wife For President.’

Ms. Hogue, let’s be honest.  Doesn’t NARAL sound so much better than National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League? While we’re being honest, don’t you think the very least you could do is lose the abbreviations and say who you are and what you stand for in your organization’s name?  My blog is www.prolifepoppop.com; no ambiguities, no misdirection; I am who I am.

Thousands of unborn children will die today in America’s abortion mills and NARAL will be fighting to make it easier to kill even more.  While your side is fighting against life my side will be fighting for it.  America has some monumental choices to make.  We can continue to kill over a million of our unborn children every year and seal our fate as a failed experiment that was based on the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as our foundation; or we can end the slaughter and welcome the unlimited human potential that is lost every time a confused young woman walks into one of America’s abortion mills.

Ms. Hogue, I welcome your reply in defense of your organization and will publish your rebuttals to my assertions with no editing on my part.

Letter to President Obama #40

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave.  NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

August 30, 2013

Mr. President:

Since I began my quest to end abortion I’ve noticed that my letters to you and other members of the pro-abortion fan club get their inspiration from things I previously wouldn’t have noticed.  During my commute to work this morning I passed a Greyhound bus and knew immediately that I had the basis for today’s letter.  When I got to my office I did some quick calculations and was shocked by the numbers.

Mr. President, imagine a caravan of 60 buses pulling into the parking lot of your local Planned Parenthood clinic.  3,300 pregnant mothers exit the buses and form a line at the door, their babies safely nestled in their wombs, not knowing that they are about to die for no good reason or that their mothers will be paying a fee to insure their demise.  These children began their last day alive with no way of knowing it would be their last.  As the abortion mill’s doors swing open the carnage begins.  By day’s end another 3,300 dead children will be unceremoniously ushered out the back door, their brutal transition from separate, unique, living human beings to bloody bags full of medical waste now complete.

Sir, as I write this letter our military is about to begin lobbing cruise missiles into Syria in response to last week’s chemical weapons attack on innocent civilians.  Even though it has yet to be confirmed that the Syrian military was behind the attack, you’ve painted yourself into a corner with your ill-conceived ‘redline’ declarations, and now you’re forced to take action to save face, regardless of the countless billions of dollars this operation will cost or the countless innocent lives this action will take.

Mr. President, in your world, politics takes precedence over common sense and basic human decency.  You express your outrage over the deaths of several hundred civilians from a chemical weapons attack and risk dragging the world into war while you remained silent as 100,000 Syrians died over the past 2 years.

3,300 innocent children will be slaughtered today in America’s abortion mills and you will continue to say nothing.  3,300 more will die tomorrow and the day after, and the day after, and on and on, and not a word of outrage from the leader of the free world.

Mr. President, I grieve for the children who died in Syria last week and the children who will surely die as a result of your response.  I also grieve for the 1.2 million American children who will die at the hands of Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry this year.

Sir, if saving face and looking strong is important to you; take a stand for life and work to end abortion in America.  Stop pandering to Planned Parenthood and start fighting for the lives of our unborn children.  Mr. President, real men don’t need cruise missiles to prove their resolve.  All they need is the courage of their convictions and the will to do what they know in their heart is right.

Ms. Richards:

Remember the last time you saw a large aquarium?  Beautiful fish of all shapes, sizes, and colors darted in all directions in a complex ballet of incalculable precision.  Then there’s this one really ugly fish hanging around the sides slowly gnawing the green scum from the glass surface.  Occasionally he’ll dart to the bottom to gobble up the latest deposit of fresh fish poop; then he reassumes his position gnawing at the scum in his bug-eyed glory.  I don’t know the ichthyologic classification of this fish so I’ll call him a scum sucking bottom feeder.

Funny how every time I hear the term scum sucking bottom feeder I think of Planned Parenthood.  Come to think of it, equating your organization with crap eating fish is an insult to all the turd gobblers of the world.  Unlike Planned Parenthood, they provide a needed service and nobody gets hurt.  They do it for free, they don’t have an agenda, and the children of the world love to visit them.

Ms. Richards, I see you’ve been busy lobbying the California State Legislature to allow individuals other than doctors to perform abortions.  I guess your stated mission of providing quality reproductive health care and protecting a woman’s right to choose doesn’t include protecting a woman’s right to choose to have her unborn child killed by an actual doctor.  In your defense, you still achieve the desired end result, a dead child.  Who cares if the individual performing the procedure didn’t go to medical school and may not have the training needed to handle unanticipated complications?  Planned Parenthood still gets paid, so it’s all good.  Having abortions performed by individuals other than doctors will probably result in you having to lower the fee for having a child killed, but I guess you’ve crunched the numbers and determined that increasing the number of procedures you can perform will offset the lower fee per procedure and actually increase your bottom line.

Your new slogan: “Care. No matter what.”  fits seamlessly into your business plan for California.  No matter what you have to do, including performing abortions with individuals not having a medical license, just so you can hit your revenue projections, is all in a day’s work.  Killing America’s children is not what I consider Care, but we’ll address that at another time.

Yesterday I saw a picture of your clinic in Bryan/College Station, Texas as it was closing for the last time.  Watching the Planned Parenthood sign being dismantled was a beautiful sight.  I hope to see this image repeated many times over the coming months and years.

For your information, I’m publishing all my letters to you on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Should you ever decide to reply to one of them I’ll publish your reply, unedited.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Letter to Governor O’Malley #1

Governor Martin O’Malley

100 State Circle

Annapolis, Md.  21401-1925

August 28, 2013

Governor O’Malley:

I know you’re busy so I’ll get right to my point.  Since the death penalty has been repealed in Maryland, I propose that our state’s unborn children be given the same accommodation.  The Guttmacher Institute estimates that 34,290 abortions were performed in Maryland in 2008.  Incidentally, that’s the last year anything resembling reliable data was available and 2 years after the state stopped tracking abortions.  Since Maryland is one of the most abortion-friendly states in the country, I’m curious as to why the Md. Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene decided in September of 2006 that they would no longer track or report the number of abortions performed in our state.  I’m gonna go out on a limb and speculate that maybe they just didn’t want people like me to know how many innocent children are killed in Maryland’s abortion mills every year.

Governor, I think it’s safe to say that you and I probably don’t agree on much of anything.  We both know you’re toying with a run for the Presidency in 2016 so it’s a no-brainer that you don’t want to stir up the pro-abortion crowd and risk losing all the money they’ll be funneling to your campaign, so the chance of you seriously considering my proposal are just short of nil.  Think about it though.  Condemned criminals convicted of unspeakable crimes are under no threat of death in Maryland while unborn children are killed for a fee with virtually no restrictions, and little, if any, government oversight.

Speaking of government oversight, I recently wrote to both the Maryland Board of Physicians and the Md. Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene about a physician operating an unlicensed, cash only, abortion clinic in Bladensburg, Md. This doctor was operating the abortion clinic while on probation as a condition of a 2 year suspension of his medical license.  How about looking into this since the only communication I’ve received from the State of Md. is a 2 sentence letter from DHMH acknowledging that my complaint had been handed off to them from the Md. Board of Physicians.

Governor, as a pro-life conservative living in one of the most left leaning states in America, I’m used to incompetency in government and bureaucrats intruding into every aspect of my life.  I’m a big boy and I can deal with the bean- counters.  I refuse, however, to live in a state known as a haven for late-term abortionists without speaking out and drawing attention to the problem.  In future letters I’ll name names and ask for your help.

I’m publishing my letters to you on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  I’ll publish your replies too, should you take the time to do so.  Sir, I’m committed to ending abortion in America.  I invite you to help.

Letter to Kermit Gosnell #1

Dr. Kermit Gosnell

Inmate #68012-066

Federal Detention Center

P.O. Box 562

Philadelphia, Pa.  19105

Dr. Gosnell:

I like to think that somewhere deep inside everyone, no matter what they’ve done, and no matter how many innocent lives they’ve taken, there still lies some good.  Sir, where the good lies in you, only God knows.  You’ve been given the rest of your life to contemplate the carnage and trail of death you’ve left in your wake.  If there is any good in you I suggest you take this time to explain to the world how you wasted your life in the pursuit of money and at the expense of countless thousands of innocent children.

As a pro-life blogger, I’m trying to understand how a trained physician could do the things you did.  I hope to begin a conversation with you as I explore the depravity of America’s abortion industry.  Since you have nothing better to do as you wait for your day of reckoning, I ask that you engage me in this exchange and tell your side of the story.

Sir, the squalid clinic where you murdered an untold number of post-birth children stands as a testament to the brutality of America’s abortion industry.  The account of how you were able to openly perform late-term abortions for 17 years without a single inspection of your facility by either the Philadelphia Public Health Department or the Pennsylvania Department of Health speaks volumes to those of us who see many in government as willing accomplices to monsters like you.

I can only imagine the horrific visions of your life as a child killer as they stream through your consciousness in the dark solitude of your remaining existence. Do you feel any remorse for what you’ve done?  Do you see the lifeless eyes of all the children you killed as you close yours at night?

Now that you’ve lost everything, you risk no further punishment in this life for just telling the truth.  How many post-birth children did you murder?  What was the tipping point that lead you from a promising career as a physician to possibly becoming the worst serial killer in history?  Was it simply the money or did you actually buy in to the pro-abortion ideology of killing innocent children as a matter of convenience; screw the consequences?

Dr. Gosnell, you still have time to change your life, unlike the thousands of children that passed through the one way doors of The Women’s Medical Society.  You can acknowledge your wasted life and reveal the brutal truth about abortion and possibly change some minds and save some lives.

I’ll be publishing my letters to you on my pro-life blog at prolifepoppop.com.  Should you choose to reply, I’ll publish your replies as well.  I promise to publish your replies verbatim, with no editing on my part. In closing, may God have mercy on your soul.

Letter to President Obama #39

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

August 26, 2013

Mr. President:

To the most abortion friendly President in our history, I have a question.  Have you ever seen the grisly results of a Dilation & Evacuation abortion procedure?  Every American should take the time to examine photographs of the dismembered body of a dead baby as the end result of this procedure, and then review their position on abortion.  I can say with confidence that Roe v Wade would be overturned in short order if enough of my fellow citizens would undertake this endeavor.

Mr. President, dismembering a living child is a bloody, barbaric manner in which to kill an innocent human being.  Sir, as I’ve mentioned in my previous letters to you, the suffering a child must endure before dying as a result of this procedure is unimaginable.  Ask yourself why any child or any human being should have to die like this for any reason.

Sir, a society where a condemned criminal is afforded more rights and respect than an unborn child has a lot of self-examination to do.  If the citizens of America want the killing of their unborn children to be legal, the very least they should do is to be fully informed as to the methods employed to kill 1.2 million children every year and be willing to see the gruesome results of their decision.

Mr. President, your friends at Planned Parenthood and others in America’s abortion industry promote safe abortions.  Safe for who?  Certainly not for the child.  If a mother wants to have her unborn child killed she should be willing to see the end result of the procedure.  Last week, Americans saw the images of dead Syrian children as a result of their government’s chemical weapons attack; and the outrage was justified.  Today, over 3,000 children died in America’s abortion mills and where’s the outrage?  If 3,000 school children had been massacred today do you think their deaths would have been reported?

Mr. President, by now your staffer or the word recognition software delegated to reading my letters is probably getting tired of hearing from me.  All I can say is suck it up because I’m not going to stop.  This is too important and the children I’m trying to save can’t speak for themselves.  When you stop enabling their killers I’ll stop writing letters.

In closing, apparently fleecing the American taxpayers to the tune of over $500 million a year to fund Planned Parenthood is not good enough for you.  Now you’ve given them another $1million to ‘navigate’ for ObamaCare.  Well played sir; well played.

cc:  Planned Parenthood

Choice

The abortion industry’s money line is “A woman’s right to choose.” What they don’t have the courage to include in their catchy little phrase is what they feel a woman has the right to choose; that being to choose to have her unborn child killed; for a reasonable fee, of course.  In what school of rational thought should a woman, a mother, have the right to choose to have her unborn baby killed?  Universally accepted principles of human behavior are unwavering in the position that killing an innocent human being is immoral and contrary to the rational conduct of human interaction and familial discourse.  To be clear; it’s wrong and should never be done.  The abortion industry’s rebuttal is always that they are performing abortions that are legal and within the framework of our current laws.  The same justifications were used by the brutal murderers in Nazi Germany’s concentration camps when they said they were just following orders.  Laws or no laws, orders or no orders, human beings instinctively know that killing another human being is wrong.

If a mother has the right to choose to have her unborn child killed does the father of the child have the same right?  Does the unborn child’s right to life trump the mother’s choice to have it killed?  Since the right to life is granted exclusively by God, denial of that right or ending an innocent life is against the wishes of the Grantor of life and thereby engenders all the consequences associated with such behavior.   Any intentional choice to end the divinely ordained natural course of any life at any point from conception to natural death is a violation of Natural Law.

If a woman has the right to choose to have her child killed, when does that right expire; when the unborn child is capable of living outside the womb, moments before birth, moments after birth, or at any stage of the child’s life?  Should a mother have the right to choose to have her unborn child killed even though it has reached the stage in its development where it can feel the pain of being killed?  Should a woman choosing to have an abortion be required to view the end result of the procedure; that being her innocent, dead child?

Every life is filled with choices; we all make them every day; some good, some bad, some that we all would like to take back.  Most of the choices we make in life can be undone.  Choosing to end a human life is not one of them.  When a woman chooses to have an abortion and follows through with her choice a child will die and will be dead forever.  The precursor to nearly all situations where a woman chooses to have an abortion was another choice by the woman to engage in behavior that could manifest as a pregnancy.  When a pregnancy occurs as a result of rape or incest a woman’s choices, admittedly, become more difficult.  She can choose to carry the child to term and accept it into her family or allow a loving family to adopt it.  I acknowledge that this course of action is courageous and requires faith on the part of the mother that the baby she is carrying was granted the gift of life for a reason we may not be able to comprehend but nonetheless, for a reason our Creator deemed fit.  She could also choose to have an abortion; in essence executing an innocent child for a crime its father committed.

The rallying cry of the abortion industry and the pro-abortion crowd is that a woman’s right to choose to have her child killed must be protected because of the need for abortion due to rape, incest, or threat to the life of the mother.  What they fail to divulge is that these 3 categories represent considerably less than 1% of all abortions performed.  They also fail to divulge that modern medical science has virtually eliminated the possibility that carrying a baby to full-term will pose an imminent threat to the life of the mother.   So, following the abortion industry’s convoluted rationalizations, are over 99% of abortions unwarranted?

A woman has the right to choose many things, among those to love and protect her child above all else, to choose to advocate a pro-life agenda, and to choose to carry her child to birth. The choices we make in life are inextricably tied to the consequences of those same choices.  They are not mutually exclusive and the consequences of every choice we make will surely follow.  I choose to promote life and gladly accept the consequences of my actions.

The Calling

I’ve always been pro-life but like most people was too busy raising a family and making a living to really contemplate the horrors of abortion.  Throughout my life I had heard public figures say they had felt a calling to dedicate their lives to the causes they believed in.  I watched them pursue their callings, often at great personal sacrifice and often making the ultimate sacrifice in honor of their cause.  I watched as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his life for his cause.  I watched as Mother Teresa lived in the squalid slums of India as she comforted its impoverished children.

The birth of my first grandson, the child of my child, stirred something inside me. With the birth of my grandson I finally realized the miracle that manifests itself as life.  I knew at that moment that every life is priceless and represents a gift to the world from our Creator.  The slow burn of my calling had begun but I still didn’t know what it was.  I spent the next 2 years watching my family’s little miracle grow and flourish and used that time to learn life’s lessons from an innocent child.  My grandson taught me the meaning of unconditional love and trust.  He taught me to experience awe at the sight of a bird in flight and a butterfly as it danced from flower to flower.  I learned the true meaning of joy as I saw the look of sheer joy on his face from the simple act of wearing his new basketball pajamas for the first time.  I sat through hours of Mickey Mouse movies with him and wouldn’t trade a minute of the time we spent and continue to spend together for anything in the world. My grandson showed me the way and made me realize that the calling I was feeling was real and that I had finally found my life’s purpose.

And then the news came that my second grandson was on the way.  Unbeknownst to me at the time, my second grandson’s impending birth was another not so subtle slap to the back of the head by the Universal Intelligence telling me to get it in gear and start my work of saving our unborn children.   But, by this time my calling to become a pro-life advocate had already begun to build and the pull was getting stronger by the day.  I don’t have a wall full of diplomas or a resume of fancy degrees and I can’t really explain what a calling is.  All I know is that something inside me beyond the realm of the physical world is guiding me towards my life’s work.  I can feel it and I know it’s there, and I’m listening.  My mission to save the world’s unborn children began on May 12, 2013 and will continue until my dying breath.  Once you realize what your purpose in life is you immediately develop a sense of clarity regarding everything else in your life.  You realize the problems you stressed about yesterday really weren’t that big a deal.  You know, without a doubt, that you were put on earth in this place at this time to do what you have been called upon to do.  With that comes a sense of peace that I can’t describe with words.

I’m following my calling as a happy warrior, knowing that my pro-life position and views will bring anger and ridicule from some, and I don’t care.  I know that advocating life over death is the right thing to do and no amount of baseless justifications and shallow arguments from the other side will ever convince me otherwise.

My children and grandchildren are my inspiration to do everything I can to end the scourge of abortion.  My weapon of choice in defense of life is the written word.  Every day I’m writing commentaries and letters to politicians, abortion providers, public figures, and everyone and anyone who somewhere deep inside knows the truth but refuses to acknowledge it.

My goal is nothing less than the end of abortion in my lifetime. I know I can’t do it alone and I know that help will come from sources yet unknown to me.   Laugh if you want, ridicule and demean me if it makes you feel better, or join me in promoting life.

Ms. Hogue:

I have a low tolerance for intellectual dishonesty.  When it comes to abortion you’re either pro-life or pro-abortion.  There is no middle ground between life and death.  You’re either alive or dead.  Saying you’re pro-choice means that you’re in favor of abortion but lack the courage or intellectual honesty to state the obvious.  Therein lies the false premise of the very name of your organization.

Your website posits the query; what is choice?  Choice, in the context of abortion, means choosing whether another living human being should be allowed to live or die.  Under the abortion tab on your website you state the following: “We believe that women should have option to choose abortion.”  Aside from the obvious grammatical error in this statement, the hypocrisy is mind-numbing.  Why should a woman have the option to arbitrarily have a separate, unique, living human being that temporarily resides in her body killed? The hypocrisy; every mother that elects to have her baby killed was allowed to be born herself.

Unlike you, I believe that life begins at conception.  I believe that every new life is a child of God, just like you, me, and every other human being in the world.  An unborn child is just as alive and deserving of life as you, me, and every other human being.  Killing an innocent child at any stage of its life is wrong and contrary to any moral or ethical standard of any civilized society.

Ms. Hogue, at what point in a child’s development should a mother not be allowed to choose to have it killed?  As I write this I have 2 grandsons; 1 at 2 ½ years old and 1 at 13 days old.  Just like an unborn child, they still depend on their mother to stay alive.  My daughter could have chosen to have either of my grandsons killed before they were born, while they depended on her to support their lives.  Should she choose to neglect her children for just a few days, neither could survive now.   What I’m saying is that I fail to see the distinction between killing your child before it is born or after.  In my eyes you’re still killing a human being, regardless of its stage of development.

Ms. Hogue, I’m not a religious fanatic or someone who stalks abortion clinics.  I’m just a flawed human just like everyone else; probably more flawed than most.  I do, however, believe with all my heart that killing unborn children is an affront to the will of our Creator and that the consequences for a society that allows this to continue will be commensurate to the evil they perpetrate.

Get used to getting letters from me.  We have a lot to talk about.  In the interest of full disclosure, I’ll be publishing my letters to you in my pro-life blog at prolifepoppop.com. If you choose to reply, I’ll publish your replies as well

Letter to Planned Parenthood #11

Planned Parenthood Federation of America

1110 Vermont Ave. NW

Suite 300

Washington, D.C.  20005

Attn:    Cecile Richards

August 21, 2013

Ms. Richards:

Yesterday, while your hired killers took the lives of 1,000 more innocent children my family received the good news that my preemie grandson had progressed to the point that he could go home today.  After spending his first 11 days since birth in NICU, he finally gets to start the normal part of his life surrounded by a loving family in his own home.

Ms. Richards, the 1,000 children killed in Planned Parenthood’s clinics yesterday were equally deserving of the same opportunity to make the most of their lives, just like my newest grandson will.   Since the leading cause of premature death for an unborn child in America is its mother walking into a Planned Parenthood clinic, do you feel any sense of responsibility for the moral decline of an America where the Right to life is no longer held as sacred?

America’s unborn children, who continue to be killed as I write this, are an endangered species.  Last year nearly 1 in 3 pregnancies ended in an abortion mill; yet you continue to lobby for less restrictive abortion laws.  The abortion to adoption referral ratio for Planned Parenthood is nearly 200 to 1.  Your industry looks the other way as monsters like Kermit Gosnell literally butcher innocent children, often after they are born alive.

As my latest grandson enters his 9th month of life he enters a morally and financially bankrupt country that teeters on the edge of total collapse; but everything is going to be ok.  His generation, with guidance from those of us who treasure their young lives above all else, will return America to her divinely inspired course. These children haven’t been corrupted by the fancy marketing campaigns that strive to make your industry look like mainstream medical care.  They haven’t yet been indoctrinated by our culture of political correctness where common sense is set aside in favor of cheerleading for vacuous causes and false promises.  As a parent and grandparent I gladly accept the obligation to guide my children and grandchildren along the right path.

Ms. Richards, the first step towards leaving our children and grandchildren a better world is to stop killing them before they can even be born.  The 1,000 children Planned Parenthood killed today won’t get their chance to leave their mark on the world.  The 1,000 kids you’ll kill tomorrow will never experience the loving embrace of a parent or grandparent.  The 334,000 babies killed last year in Planned Parenthood’s clinics are nothing more to you than a one line entry on your Annual Report.

My newest grandson is home now, nearly a month before he was supposed to be born.  He’s alive and healthy just like the thousands of unborn children were who died today in America’s abortion mills.

Ms. Richards, shame on you and the industry you represent.
