Impressions

Good Friday seemed like a good time to republish the following piece that I originally published a little over a year ago. I hope it will inspire someone to look inward this weekend and to choose a new path for their life; a path that allows them to serve their fellow man.
We all have something we would love to do, but we hesitate; afraid of the cost, what others may think, fear of the unknown, or a myriad other excuses.
The best way to change your life and to change others is to jump in, feet first, and just go for it. Avoid negativity, focus on your goal, and resolve to do whatever it takes to succeed. We all have it in us to make an impression on the world and to leave it a little better than we found it.
Find your cause and dive in.

It’s been said that you never get a second chance to make a good first impression.  While first impressions are important, they often don’t paint an accurate picture.  Look at President Obama.  He made one good speech in 2004, that someone else wrote for him, and was immediately anointed as a future President.  Fast forward from his American Idol ascendance to the Presidency in 2008 to the present, and it’s painfully obvious that first impressions can be deceiving.

Take a look at a Planned Parenthood brochure.  The pictures of smiling, attractive young people would lead you to believe that a Planned Parenthood clinic is anything but a place you go to pay to have your child killed.  Even though abortion is their principle source of revenue, they go to great pains to make you believe otherwise.  They know that practicing truth in advertising and publishing pictures of the bloody dead…

Contradictions #2

A year ago I wrote piece number 2 in a series titled Contradictions. Like most of the posts I wrote a year or two ago, not much has changed since I wrote them. America is in the midst of March Madness while the world around us is embroiled in total madness.
We focus on basketball and all across America young women are preparing to have their unborn children killed tomorrow. Iran is on a spending spree with the $150 billion we just released to them for entering into an agreement no one believes they will honor.
Tomorrow while we toil away at our jobs, 3,000 unborn children will become medical waste at America’s abortion mills. Most of us will go on with our lives, oblivious to the slaughter. When I close my eyes tonight I will see and hear the suffering that will continue on Monday, and I’ll be reminded that my nightmares won’t end until the practice of abortion does.

This week a Wisconsin judge struck down a law requiring doctors working in abortion clinics to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.  His justification was that the benefit of insuring continuity of care for women injured during an abortion was outweighed by the “burden” that would be imposed upon them when trying to find a “qualified” facility at which to have their unborn child killed.  As a country, have we devolved to the point that preventing any inconvenience to a woman seeking to have her child killed is enforceable by law?  An individuals’ right to life, our most sacred founding principle, is being challenged, and won by bottom feeders like Planned Parenthood.

While the abortion industry was winning another battle in their fight to be able to kill more babies, our President was continuing his administration’s negotiations with Iran; negotiations that the whole world knows will lead to Iran developing nuclear…

Degrees of Outrage #13

Honor and integrity are very important to me.  I see living a principled life as the best way to be a positive influence on your family and peers.  I also see an American society teeming with uninformed morons, clamoring to be offended by the slightest perceived provocation.  Friday night in Chicago, a group of self-proclaimed speech censors took it upon themselves to deny thousands of Trump supporters the opportunity to hear Mr. Trump speak.  These idiots hide behind the Constitution when it serves their purpose, but deny the same Constitutional right to free speech they claim to be expressing, to anyone they feel should be silenced.

Mr. Trump’s opponents are now claiming that he is responsible for the MoveOn.org thugs who incited violence and caused his speech to be cancelled.  That’s not how free speech works.  Whether you agree with Donald Trump or not, he has the right to peaceful assembly and free speech.  If you don’t like his message, don’t listen.  I don’t support Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders, but I support their right to free speech.

MoveON.org has claimed responsibility for organizing the hostilities Friday night.  Just a reminder, MoveOn.org was founded on behalf the Clintons during the late 90’s in an attempt to have the media and the public move on from Bill’s sordid sexual exploits and Hillary’s mulitple ethical challenges.  MoveOn’s modus operandi is to organize low information individuals, most of whom have no idea what they are protesting against, into unruly mobs.

The liberal wackos disrupting Trump’s speeches and inciting violence have taken it upon themselves to decide who gets to speak and who doesn’t.  They’re all for the 1st Amendment until they don’t agree with what you have to say.  Honor and integrity mean nothing to them.  It’s all about them, and nothing else.  These same idiots and organizations think that Roe v Wade created the right for a woman to choose to have her unborn child killed.  They don’t understand that rights can only be granted by God.  When despicable organizations like MoveOn.org try to shut someone like Donald Trump down, all they do is guarantee that he will dominate the news cycle.   When they promote organizations like Planned Parenthood and fight for what they call abortion rights, they bask in the blinding light of utter stupidity.

Liberals claim to have all the answers and demand that anyone who doesn’t agree with them be silenced.  They field a corrupt felon and a washed up socialist as their Presidential candidates and are willing to blindly follow them to oblivion if they are elected.  Liberal wackos have the right to express their opinions, however misguided they may be; and I have the right to ignore them and to work for everything they are against.  They support an abortion industry that kills over 3,000 innocent children every day in America and I will continue to fight for every life they don’t think matters.

When liberals win, bad things happen.  When liberals get offended, more often than not, I get amused.  If this expression of my right to free speech offends anyone; so be it.

Letter to John Kerry #2

Most of my work on this blog is focused on ending the practice of abortion. Occasionally, I veer off course to call out inept politicians, especially when they perform particularly egregious acts of stupidity. The following letter, written a year ago today, was one of those occasions. When I wrote this letter, John Kerry was in the middle of negotiations with the terrorist State of Iran on the now infamous Iran nuclear deal.
The whole world knows that Iran was cheating during negotiations and continues to cheat after the Obama administration gave them everything they wanted. Just today, Iran test launched two ballistic missiles. Inscribed on the side of both missiles was “Israel should be wiped from the pages of history.” In a couple days they’ll undoubtedly receive a strongly worded letter from the U.N. Good job Mr. Secretary!

Attn: Secretary of State John Kerry

 Mr. Secretary:

Let’s begin by assessing your skills as a negotiator.  To date, the only successful negotiations you have ever been a party to consist of you talking 2 rich women into marrying you.  An admittedly impressive feat, but I would postulate that this skill-set does not necessarily translate into you being able to save the world from a nuclear holocaust.  The word on the streets is that the Iranians are handing you your ass on a daily basis as you negotiate a timetable for them to obtain nuclear weapons.  Yes, I said a timetable for them to obtain nuclear weapons.  You and the Obama administration are so desperate to cut any kind of deal with Iran; there is no longer any doubt that they will be able to develop…

The Problem With Abortion

The following piece that I wrote a year ago brings to mind the choice that America has in November. If we elect Bernie Sanders or Monica Lewinsky’s ex-boyfriend’s wife, we continue the string of pro-abortion, pro-Planned Parenthood Presidents that we’ve had under B.O. America’s children deserve better than being conceived in a country where the likelihood that they will be intentionally killed before they are born is a little better than 1 in 3.
Both choices on the Democrat side promise freebies to everyone and punishment to anyone with the audacity to be more successful than the government thinks they should be allowed to be. They promise to support Planned Parenthood and to make abortion more accessible, and to pay for it with our tax dollars.
Bernie will never be President, and based solely on her position on abortion, I’m voting for ABC (Anybody But Hillary).

Contrary to popular opinion, the problem with abortion isn’t that it’s legal; the problem is that otherwise rational people don’t have a problem with it.  Abortion is the end result of a systemic erosion of basic values in our society and a conditioned response to a no consequences mindset.  We got to this point by entertaining ourselves with senseless acts of violence, and in the process became desensitized to senseless acts of violence; like abortion. We’ve abandoned the concept of personal responsibility and bought into a herd mentality that we’ve been tricked into thinking will absolve us of the consequences of our individual actions.

In January of 1973, five out of nine old white guys in black robes declared that Roe v Wade was the law of the land. Over the last 42 years nearly 60 million unborn children have been legally killed under cover of law.  The law isn’t…
