Last July I was just getting warmed up in my mission to end abortion.  Cecile Richards of Planned Parenthood is probably tired of getting letters from people like me with the audacity to demand that she stop killing babies for money.  She’d better get used to it because I’m not going away.  This was my 5th letter to Planned Parenthood.  I’m not really sure how many I’ve written to them at this point, but I know they never write back.  Maybe it’s because they never even read my letters or maybe it’s because they know there’s no logical argument for what they do every day.  Cecile Richards probably doesn’t even know I exist; and I don’t care.  If I can be an annoyance to her secretary or the person in the mail room who deals with my letters, it’s a start.  I’m 60 years old and in really good shape.  I figure I can keep this up for another 30 or 40 years.  Eventually, one of my letters will get through.

Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry hang their hat on the 1%.  Children conceived in rape or incest, and those determined to be a threat to the life of the mother account for less than 1% of all abortions performed.  This 1% is what the industry of death uses to justify what they do, even though they represent a tiny portion of the innocent children they kill every year.  In the following letter I used the 1% as a starting point for negotiating an end to abortion.  Since Ms. Richards hasn’t replied, I can only assume that she is considering my proposal.

Ms. Richards:

Since Planned Parenthood and the rest of the pro-abortion crowd are in the business of killing babies for money, when it comes down to presenting a logical, fact-based argument for what you do, you have nothing.  Since you have no justification for killing America’s unborn children, you always fall back to the same old default question:  What about victims of rape and incest, and what if the life of the mother is in jeopardy?  What you fail to mention when using your reliable fall-back is that considerably less than 1% of all pregnancies fall into this category; an honest mistake I’m sure.

Modern medicine has virtually eliminated the circumstances where a mother may be in danger of losing her life if she carries her child to full term; but you already know this.  You also know that after suffering a despicable act like rape or incest, killing the child conceived by this act does not end the mother’s suffering, it adds to it.  Not only does the mother feel the guilt and pain inflicted by the sexual predator, but having an abortion leaves behind the guilt of knowing that she had an innocent child killed.  Ms. Richards, should a child be executed for a crime its father committed?

Since Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry live in the world of hypotheticals, and have nothing without the rape, incest, and life of the mother argument, let’s see how far you’re willing to ride this horse.

If we can agree that abortion is only justified in the event of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother then we also must agree that over 99% of abortions are not justified.  I want to save the lives of every unborn child, but if we can agree as a starting point that 99% of abortions are not warranted, then I can focus my attention on the remaining 1%.

Ms. Richards, Planned Parenthood killed 334,000 babies last year.  Let’s stipulate that 99% or 330,660 of these abortions were unwarranted.  We can’t undo what has already been done but we can change things moving forward.  From this point forward, let’s agree that Planned Parenthood will only perform abortions due to rape, incest, or imminent threat to the life of the mother; then we can talk about the other 1%.  I’m committed to saving them all, but if we can start here in good faith, I’m convinced we can work this out.

Let me know when we can meet to draw up our agreement to save America’s children.

Letter to Rick Pollitt

Attn:    Rick Pollitt

County Executive

May 5, 2014

Dear Rick:

Salisbury, Md. is a great place to live.  What it shouldn’t be is a place where you can go to the local Planned Parenthood clinic and pay to have your unborn child killed.  Salisbury’s Planned Parenthood clinic is within sight of one of the city’s largest churches, Salisbury University, and the daycare facility that my 2 grandsons attend. Something is very wrong in a city where just around the corner from where people are worshipping God, young adults are attending class, and children are playing with their friends, unborn babies are being killed for money.

Salisbury’s Planned Parenthood clinic is an affiliate of an organization that killed nearly 340,000 unborn babies last year while raking in over $540 million from the U.S. taxpayers.  They are part of an organization that kills another innocent child every 94 seconds of every hour of every day.  I don’t know whether the Salisbury Planned Parenthood clinic performs surgical abortions or chemical abortions.  In the end, the result is the same, another dead child for no good reason.

Rick, I went to school with you and your family, and I know you are an honorable man.  I don’t know where you stand on abortion and can only assume, with your family background, that you are on the side of life.  The battle to end abortion will be won on the state and local level, not at the increasingly dysfunctional federal level.  States across the country are enacting legislation that restricts abortion and makes it harder to operate a facility that kills children for money.  Personhood legislation is taking hold in Alabama, North Dakota, and Colorado.  Personhood legislation codifies the obvious; that an unborn child is a living human being, thus a person, and is afforded all the protections of the 14th Amendment as they apply to equal protection under the law.  Personhood legislation terrifies Planned Parenthood and they are spending millions to defeat it.  They know that once unborn children have legal standing as living, human beings they’re out of business.

Wicomico County can be a leader in the fight to guarantee that every unborn child is allowed to be born, just like you and I were.  I respectfully request that Wicomico County be declared an abortion free zone.  Declare that every unborn child is safe in our hometown and our county.  Let Planned Parenthood know that their industry of death is not welcomed here.  Rick, I can think of no higher calling than the protection of our children.  Enacting legislation or ordinances in Wicomico County to end abortion could be the catalyst for a nationwide movement to save our children.

If we allow the abortion industry to kill another 3,500 children every day in America, and do nothing to stop the killing, we are just as guilty as the killers themselves.  It takes many small victories to win a war.  Let’s work together to win this one.

Letter to Salisbury Planned Parenthood #2

Unborn children should not be killed for money in small town America.  I refuse to accept that less than 2 miles from my home where I run and play with my grandson, innocent children are killed for a fee.  Over the past year I’ve written to the enablers and purveyors of abortion in America.  Now it’s time to get specific.  It’s time to clean up my own neighborhood.  Planned Parenthood is not welcome in my town and I intend to close their doors.  Closing my local Planned Parenthood clinic is just the first step, but an important one.  I have faith that I can do this even though I haven’t a clue how to go about it.  I have faith that the necessary help and resources will come from sources yet unknown to me.  Pardon the cliche, but failure is not an option.

To Whom it May Concern:

I’m your neighbor.  As a child many years ago, I used to ride my bicycle at the same location where you now kill babies.  It was a much simpler time back then.  Roe v Wade had yet to become the law of the land and 1 out of every 3 unborn children wasn’t killed while still in its mother’s womb.  The blood money that keeps your doors open comes from my friends and neighbors.  My mission in life is to close the doors of America’s abortion industry.  Planned Parenthood is number one on my list and their clinic in my hometown is the next one I want to see closed.

Working for an organization that kills over 300,000 unborn children every year is something I can’t imagine.  The children you go home to every night are no different than the ones you helped kill today.  As your children sleep tonight will you be thinking of the ones who will never dream peacefully because of the work you do?  Killing children for a living is contrary to every moral precept of human behavior.  And anyone who allows this to continue unchallenged, is just as guilty as the killers themselves.

I don’t know where you fall in the chain of command at your location.  Maybe you’re new and haven’t yet been exposed to the grisly, bloody side of the business; the part that brings in most of the money.  If you work there long enough you’ll see things that will haunt you for the rest of your life.  Just in case they didn’t tell you when you were hired, Planned Parenthood has a reputation for easing their employees into the bloody side of the business gradually, so it’s not such a shock to you when you see your first dead child.  If you work there long enough you’ll help kill multiple generations of babies.

A small town like Salisbury, Md. is no place for a bunch of baby killers to set up shop.  Come to think of it, there is no good place for a bunch of baby killers to set up shop.  Just so you’ll be the first to know, I plan to petition my local County Executive and County Council to declare my County an abortion-free zone.  Even if they say no, I doubt the big shots at Planned Parenthood will enjoy the publicity.

I take offense at innocent children being killed for money in my hometown.  I refuse to accept the premise of a woman’s right to choose to have her baby killed.  I will not stand by and do nothing as over a million unborn children are killed every year in my country.  Closing Planned Parenthood in Salisbury, Md. will be my first; but not my last.

Personhood: Reposted

A little over a year ago I wrote a piece titled Personhood.  To America’s abortion industry, Personhood is a four letter word.  It represents everything they refuse to acknowledge.  Personhood rightly conveys living, human status to an unborn child, thereby invoking the protection of their right to life under our Constitution.  Planned Parenthood would have you believe that an unborn child does not become a living human being until they say it does.  Personhood means to them that they will have to stop killing babies for money and get a real job.

On a week during which the Supreme Court upheld ObamaCare, the abortion industry’s best friend, and trashed our Constitution with several other acts of legislation from the bench, I felt today was a good time to revisit the reality of personhood, and reflect on the most important of all our rights; the right to life.  Essential, divinely ordained human rights can’t be changed or created out of thin air by a cadre of 9 tenured for life jurists, overreaching their authority on the whims of political correctness.

Personhood is granted at conception, at the same instant every new life is granted the gift of life.  The following piece, written on May 1 of last year, states my case for personhood.  Nothing will ever change my position on personhood and I will continue to fight for every unborn child’s right to life; for as long as it takes.

Personhood:

The Alabama Supreme Court’s recent ruling that unborn children are afforded personhood and equal protection under the law, as guaranteed by the 14th Amendment, may be the death-knell for abortion.  If an unborn child is afforded constitutional protection at every stage of its life, Roe v Wade is rendered mute; case closed.  I can stop writing letters.  Planned Parenthood is done.  If only it were so easy.  Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry will spend millions to overturn this ruling.  They know that once an unborn child is legally determined to be a living human being, i.e. a person, abortion will be defined under the law as something it already is; murder.  This is a very important step and one that I believe is a quantum leap forward for the pro-life movement.

I’m convinced that the knuckleheads we send to Washington won’t end abortion.  It’s up to the states to make this happen.  Organizations like the National Right to Life Committee and Personhood USA will end the killing.  NARAL calls Personhood USA an extreme anti-choice group.  Translated, that means Personhood USA respects every unborn child’s right to life.  Personhood measures are on the 2014 ballots in North Dakota and Colorado.  The abortion industry is scared and I like it.  There is no morally or ethically based reason to fight legislation that will codify the obvious; that an unborn child is a living human being.  Planned Parenthood President, Cecile Richards recently said that she didn’t consider her 3 children to be alive until the moment of their birth.  What, pray tell, did she think was growing and kicking inside her other than a living human being?

All the abortion industry has to work with is misinformation and denial.  They can’t be truthful about what they do and why they do it because they know that the ugly truth that they kill babies for money will put them out of business.  They know that killing babies is a multi-billion dollar business and that most people would be appalled at the extent of the slaughter in our country.  They don’t want the average American to know that another baby is killed every 26 seconds in the greatest country on earth.  They don’t want the average American to know that at 20 weeks and older an unborn baby can feel the pain of being killed.

Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry don’t want unborn children to be considered human.  They want you to believe that you become human only at the moment of your birth.  They want you to believe that a full-term, fully viable baby is not human until it completely leaves its mother’s body.  They want you to believe that this full-term baby can be delivered with only the very top of its head still in the birth canal, and then have its skull punctured and its brain suctioned from its body.  They want you to call this procedure partial-birth abortion; not murder.

I support a woman’s right to choose just about anything other than choosing to have her baby killed.  I believe that every baby is a living human being from the moment of conception and that its right to life is inviolable.  Humans are persons.  Babies are human.  Babies are persons.  Personhood places them off-limits to the abortionist.

April 30, 2014

As a pro-life advocate, I subscribe to the standard of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.  I follow Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and other baby killing organizations on Twitter and Facebook.  I’ve also managed to end up on NARAL’s email and mailing list.  In today’s mail I received 3 petitions from NARAL with instructions to sign them where my name and address had already been neatly entered for me and to mail them back to NARAL.  They would then deliver them to my 2 Senators; Barbara Mikulski, and Ben Cardin, as well as my Congressman, Andy Harris. The text of the petitions read as follows: I am outraged that a woman’s right to choose is under constant attack. I urge you to support comprehensive family-planning initiatives and legislation that protects a woman’s right to choose.  Please do everything in your power to ensure that abortion care remains safe and legal in this country. All I had to do was add my signature, stick them in the envelope they provided, and mail them back to NARAL so they could hand-deliver them.  Needless to say, my next letter to NARAL will not include my signed petitions

The petitions also came with a 4 page letter decrying the fact that pro-life legislation is making it harder to kill babies in America.  They refer to pro-life organizations as anti-choice zealots and express their concern over North Dakota’s “personhood” measure that will be on the 2014 ballot.  The abortion industry is terrified of “personhood” legislation.  They know that once an unborn baby is deemed to be a person, abortion is off the table.  In the 4 pages of this letter, NARAL mentioned “a woman’s right to choose” every couple lines.  Never once did they mention a baby’s right to live.  NARAL and their President, Ilyse Hogue are bottom-feeding scum suckers.  I don’t know how NARAL could possibly think that I’m a supporter, but it’s nice to know how they operate.

Last October I wrote the following letter to NARAL’s Ilyse Hogue as they were endorsing pro-abortion Senate candidate Cory Booker.  I wanted to know what she had against children.  I’m still waiting for her answer.

 Ms. Hogue:

I’m just checking in to let you know that while I wait for you to respond to my letters I am still dumbfounded that an organization such as yours, who openly advocates for the right to have unborn children killed on demand, is allowed to operate in America.  I always thought the country I grew up in, and voluntarily placed myself in harm’s way for while serving in its military, placed the right to life for everyone including its unborn children, as its most important freedom.  I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that the country I love would elect an ‘American Idol’ President with absolutely no executive experience or qualifications for the job.  And I never would have dreamed that an American President could be as radically pro-abortion as the floppy-eared dunce currently occupying the White House.

At my age I’ve seen a lot and I’ve also decided that it’s time to take a stand for life.  That means NARAL and Planned Parenthood need to close their doors today.  You may think I’m being naïve by making such a demand, but I’m not.  I know in my heart, without a doubt, that mountains can be moved by sheer intention, as long as the intender is absolutely unwavering in his faith that the end result will come to pass.  I can see the end of abortion and I can see the padlocked doors of NARAL and Planned Parenthood.  You will see them soon.

While we’re waiting for you to close, how about explaining why your organization had to coach Newark, N.J. Mayor Cory Booker so he could give the answers you needed on your endorsement questionnaire.  Apparently, for him to get NARAL’s endorsement for his run for the Senate seat in New Jersey, and all the blood money that comes with it, he really has to jump through some hoops. He’s already in favor of partial-birth abortion, virtually no restrictions on abortion for any reason, and against requirements for parental notification for minors seeking abortions. What else do you need from the guy?  To be any more in your camp he would have to be performing the abortions himself.  Actually, Cory Booker wants so badly to be considered relevant, he would probably take a stab at being an abortionist if he thought it would help him get elected.

Ms. Hogue, what do you have against children?  Granted, they burp, fart, and occasionally puke, but I’m going to go out on a limb and speculate that you do as well.  They also have a tendency to get whiney and poop in their pants; something that I would guess you will be doing when you finally realize that NARAL has worn out its welcome in America.

Get a real job and leave our kids alone.  And get some help for that farting, burping, and intestinal growling.  It’s really unbecoming of an unemployed baby killer.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Evil surely exists in the world, and just as surely, good will triumph in the end.  97 years ago, avowed racist and eugenicist Margaret Sanger formed Planned Parenthood. She wasn’t coy about her intentions.  Her stated goal; to exterminate the black race, and children, both born and unborn having any type of birth defect, infirmity, or what she determined to be an abnormality.  The evil she propagated has resulted in a society where 90% of unborn children in America determined to have Down Syndrome are aborted,  Their only crime; being slightly different than you and me; just like everyone else in the world already is.

Planned Parenthood and the world’s abortion industry have become very good at sanitizing their image; claiming that they are the gatekeepers for women’s reproductive rights and healthcare.  Calling what they do reproductive healthcare sounds so much better than killing babies for money.  They’ve learned to call the killing of an innocent child ‘terminating a pregnancy’ and ‘a woman’s right to choose.’  The children they kill by the thousands every day are still dead no matter what they choose to call it.

As I’ve stated in many of my posts, organizations like Planned Parenthood would cease to exist if there wasn’t a demand for their services.  As long as we allow them to kill babies we’re all complicit in their crimes against humanity.  It was recently reported that the UK and Oregon state were incinerating aborted babies along with other medical waste to generate electricity.  Apparently it’s not enough for a baby’s life to be brutally ended by an abortionist, after death their lives are further devalued by using their dead bodies as fuel; while creating another way for the abortion industry to profit from their deaths.

As I write this, my 3 year old grandson, and best friend in the world, is literally sleeping right beside me.  He’s been playing hard all day and nap time came on quickly right after a bowl of ice cream.  As I glance to my right and watch him peacefully sleeping I can’t help but think about the children who will never get to simply take a nap before spending the night with their grandparents.  Over the next 24 hours I will unashamedly  spoil my grandson while letting him know he is loved and safe.  That’s what life is all about; sharing yours with others and doing your best to make theirs as good as it can be.

Triumph over evil will never occur by being more evil than that which you wish wish to vanquish. Evil empires like the abortion industry will come crumbling down one child at a time, one kind act at a time, one loving hug of an innocent child at a time.  Promoting evil is hard work.  Doing good comes naturally,   My grandson, my teacher, is about to awaken.  Tonight’s lesson; unconditional love and his review of the movie, Frozen.

April15, 2014

Last September I wrote my third letter to NARAL; the National Abortion Rights Action League.  I wrote this letter as my preemie grandson napped beside me.  As he slept peacefully,  Planned Parenthood was killing his future friends and NARAL was busy trying to make it easier for them to do so.  Parasitic organizations like NARAL are the symbolic barnacles clinging to the hull of the death ship Planned Parenthood.  All they want is their little piece of the multi-billion dollar pie that America’s abortion industry represents.  They don’t care how many unborn children have to die just for them to exist; they just want to get paid.

As I write my annual check to the IRS today, I’m reminded that Planned Parenthood and NARAL are tax-exempt and don’t have to worry about paying taxes.  Their only concern is how many babies they can kill this year and how much money they can make.  Planned Parenthood will receive over half a billion of our tax dollars this year and NARAL is determined to get their share.

On September 16 of last year, as my grandson slept and the killing continued, I composed the following letter:

NARAL Pro-Choice America

1156 15th Street

Suite 700

Washington, D.C.  20005

Attn:    Ilyse Hogue

September 16, 2013

Ms. Hogue:

Every time I visit your website I’m stunned by the distortion and lies you continue to spread about abortion.  Your references to safe abortion are absurd to the nth degree.  No logical argument can be made for calling a procedure designed specifically to kill a human being safe.  Your assertion that abortion is a right is equally absurd.  While abortion is legal in many cases, it is not a right.  Just so you know, rights cannot be conferred by law; they can only be protected by it.  No woman has ever been born or ever will be born with the right to kill her unborn child.  Rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are a package deal and are endowed upon each of us by our Creator at the very instant He grants us His animating spark of life; starting each of us on our individually unique journeys.

Ms. Hogue, my pro-life philosophy stems from my role as a father and grandfather.  Just before I composed this letter I fed my 5 week old grandson.  He was due to be born on the 14th but made his initial appearance 5 weeks early.  As I watch him sleep I can’t imagine life without him and still can’t believe that, as I fed him, the abortion industry you promote was killing his future friends and playmates at a rate of 1 every 26 seconds.  1 out of 3 of his future friends will be killed before they are born.

Ms Hogue, you advocate a pro-choice position on abortion.  You and I both know that pro-choice is the same as pro-abortion; all that’s lacking is the courage to say what you really believe.  I have the courage to say what I believe.  I believe that every unborn child, without exception, has the right to be born and is endowed with the same right to life as you and I.  While I’m saying what I believe; I also believe it is the epitome of hypocrisy for anyone who was allowed to be born to take a stand against allowing any other human being the same accommodation.

Despite what you profess, your cause is all about money and power.  If the abortion industry truly believes in what it does they should kill babies for free.  If you truly believe in your mission to protect, what you advocate to be, a woman’s right to have her child killed, you should stop accepting a salary for your services.

Ms. Hogue, after every visit to your website I feel that I’ve been in the presence of pure evil.  Your organization’s dedication to insuring that millions of innocent children can be killed as a simple matter of choice is a staggering display of utter disregard for the most basic of human rights; the right to life.  In spite of everything your organization has done and everything that it stands for, I believe in redemption.  Change your mission statement and work to protect our unborn children.  It’s never too late to do what you know in your heart is right.

My letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Should you choose to reply, I’ll publish it, unedited.

All the work I do for the pro-life movement is in honor of my children and grandchildren.  As my latest grandson reaches the 8 month mark today, I continue to be haunted by the fact that thousands of children die a senseless death every day in America. I refuse to let this stand and I will continue to pester Planned Parenthood and all the usual suspects until the killing ends.  America’s abortion industry is a cancer on our society and is sucking the life out of our moral foundation as well as our unborn children.

While children in Appalachia and all over America go to bed hungry every night, we continue to send hundreds of millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood.  Most of my fellow Americans have never heard of Cecile Richards, but most of them can tell you who is competing on American Idol.  We’ve lost our way and grown accustomed to an ‘instant gratification, damn the consequences’ society.  We’ve become a nation that kills over a million of its own children every year.  People like me can blame Planned Parenthood and everyone in America’s abortion industry, but they would cease to exist if there was no longer a demand for their deadly services.  In the end, we’re all responsible for what we allow to be done to our children, and we all have a moral imperative to end the killing.

I try to stay in touch with Planned Parenthood’s president.  Today’s letter is my latest effort.

 Ms. Richards:

My youngest grandson is 8 months old today.  During the 8 months since his birth, nearly 900,000 children have been killed by America’s abortion industry.  While he eats, grows, and plays, 1 out of 3 of his future playmates and friends are being slaughtered.

Ms. Richards, I’m sure by now your receptionist or whoever you designate to read my letters is getting sick of hearing from me.  Quite frankly, I’m getting tired of writing to you.  Let’s make a deal.  You stop doing what you do and I’ll stop doing what I do.

You may not realize it, but Planned Parenthood and your colleagues in the abortion industry are working your way out of business.  At the rate you are killing children, by the time this generation is of child-bearing age, you will have killed many of your future clients.  Like it or not, when you’re in the business of killing for a living it never ends well.  And like it or not, as long as you keep killing children I’ll keep writing letters to your receptionist.

I must admit that I’m at a bit of a competitive disadvantage with Planned Parenthood.  At Planned Parenthood a baby comes in alive and goes out dead, day after day after day; no originality, no change. In alive, out dead.  Every day I have to come up with a different way to piss off you and your friends. Every time it has to be a little different than the last.

Ms. Richards, you have to know that you and everyone in your industry are pariahs. If what you do every day was for the betterment of humanity why would all the world’s major religions condemn your practices?  If you saved thousands of lives every day do you really think people like me would make it their life’s mission to put you out of business?

Ms. Richards, I’m not important.  You’re not important.  What’s really important is that every child be allowed to be born.  What’s really important is that America returns to a time when every new child is a welcomed addition to its family and the world.

From now to the time my youngest grandson experiences his first whole summer, America’s abortion industry will have killed another half million children. You and Planned Parenthood will have ended another fiscal year, having killed over 300,000 children, while raking in over half a billion dollars from the U.S. taxpayers.

Tomorrow, as your receptionist reads my latest letter, he or she can rest assured that my next one is on the way.  One last time; you stop doing what you do and I’ll stop doing what I do.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

April 9, 2014

Last New Year’s Eve I was contemplating what the new year would bring.  I was hoping that this year would be the year that my country would stop allowing its unborn children to be killed.  I look to every New Year as a new beginning; a time to wipe the slate clean, to put the previous year’s mistakes and disappointments behind us, and to charge ahead towards our purpose in life.

New Year’s Eve brings a 1 day reprieve to thousands of doomed babies in America.  They’ll begin the New Year alive and ready for a full life of rich experiences and the opportunity to make their universally unique impression on the world.  By the end of the first day of the New Year they will be dead.

As I prepared to spend the evening with close friends and family, I felt it was my sacred duty to end the year with one more fight for the lives of our children.  The following letter to Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards was signed, sealed, and on its way on New Year’s Eve of last year.

 Ms. Richards:

Based on your 2012-2013 Annual Report, it looks like the world’s most prolific child killing organization had another banner year.  Between June 30, 2012 and June 30, 2013 you killed 327,166 unborn children.  At the same time, you received $540.6 million from the U.S. taxpayers.  That works out to a little less than $1,700.00 per dead child.  I would be remiss if I didn’t compliment you on your creative math, where you show abortion as accounting for only 3% of your services.  Anyone who has done any research into your deceptive practices knows that this is a result of bundling.  As an example, a woman comes to your clinic for birth control pills.  She receives 5 brochures, a prescription, 2 packages of condoms, a Planned Parenthood bumper sticker, and a brief consultation.  Planned Parenthood books this as 10 services provided.  A woman walks into a Planned Parenthood clinic, pays the fee, and has her unborn child killed.  This is booked as 1 service provided.  This creative math makes abortion look like a tiny portion of the services you provide even though the killing of innocent children is your cash cow.

Ms. Richards, the whole world knows that the viability of your evil empire depends entirely on your ability to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent children every year.  It saddens me more than I can express in words that during the 45 minutes it took me to compose this letter your organization killed another 30 unborn children.  Every tick of the clock signals the impending doom of another innocent child. If the 3,300 children killed every day by America’s abortion industry were killed in their homes, their schools, or on their playgrounds our entire country would mobilize as one to end the killing.  Yet, the majority of my fellow Americans remain silent as you kill thousands every day.

I believe with all my heart that revealing the truth about Planned Parenthood will result in its demise.  I also believe that most Americans, armed with the facts, will demand that your organization be closed forever.  My dreams are simple.  Let every living child be born.  Allow every child to realize its unlimited potential.  Respect the Right to life of every human being from conception to natural death.

Ms. Richards, as an arguably intelligent woman, you have to know that it can’t end well for an organization that kills babies for money.  The liberal elites who made it possible for you to do what you do for a living will turn on you as soon as their grasp on power is threatened.  My hope is that you will realize the extent of the slaughter you have visited upon America’s children and end the insanity long before your enablers end it for you.

April 1, 2014

As usual, on Christmas morning last year I was the first one up at my house.  I was feeling introspective and took advantage of the quiet time to look back at the past year and to look ahead at what I wanted to accomplish this year.  I wondered why I have been given so much and why others have so little. Just 4 days earlier my oldest grandson had suffered a serious health crisis, and his well-being was weighing heavily on me.  At this time in my life I know that the material things are fleeting and ephemeral.  I’ve also come to realize that family and friends are much more important than money and possessions. Lately I’ve been asking myself what really makes me happy and what do I want to leave as my legacy. I’ve come to realize that I’m happiest when I’m helping people, and I’m at peace when I write a piece that I hope will touch at least one heart.  In quiet times like this I also think about the pain and suffering that America’s unborn children endure every day at the hands of Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry.  I knew on this crisp, cool morning my children and grandchildren would be arriving in a couple hours for our traditional Christmas breakfast.  I also knew that somewhere in America as I waited for my loved ones to arrive, 3,500 unborn children were nestled comfortably in their mothers’ wombs, oblivious to the fact that they would die tomorrow at the hands of America’s industry of death.

Why I decided to write a letter to President Obama on Christmas morning, I can’t tell you.  But I did, and below is my Christmas Day letter to the President, just as it appeared to the White House staffer as he or she fed it into their shredder.

Attn:    President Barack Obama

December 25, 2013

 Mr. President:

As I sit here on Christmas morning waiting for my children and grandchildren to arrive, I’m reflecting on my purpose in life.  I have a stressful, albeit, well-paid job, but I feel the pull to work full-time towards the betterment of my fellow man, regardless of the compensation or lack thereof for doing so.  I’m conflicted over the financial obligations I have for my family and the unrelenting sense of purpose I feel to use the gift of life I have been given to dedicate my life to save the world’s children from the scourge of abortion.  Do I abdicate my duties as a father and grandfather and work to save the many, or focus on my own family and encourage them to join me on my mission to end abortion?

Despite the calling I feel to end abortion, my love for my children and grandchildren compels me to focus my efforts to insure they are all safe and happy.  The confliction I feel is this:  While I’m spending quality time with my family, always in the back of my mind is the realization that every 26 seconds in America, while I laugh and play with my grandsons, another child is dying at the hands of America’s abortion industry.  Mr. President, doing nothing as millions of children die every year in my country is not an option for me.  The principles our country was founded upon would never even consider the indiscriminate killing of our unborn children a Right that was granted by God to their mothers.  Evil empires like Planned Parenthood could have never been imagined by the men of honor and integrity that formed our nation as the one place on earth where our Creator’s intention that all men are created equal would stand as our foundational principle.

As the New Year approaches, Harry Reid has refused to allow the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to be voted upon in the Senate.  Mr. President, no debate should be necessary on this bill.  What man or woman with even a modicum of humanity could vote against a bill designed to prevent the killing of unborn children who have developed to the point that they can feel the pain of being killed?  Sir, you owe all Americans an explanation as to why you have threatened to veto this bill if it is passed by the Senate.

Thousands of American children will die in our nation’s abortion mills tomorrow.  Today, while millions of children celebrate Christmas, thousands of scared, confused mothers are preparing to have their unborn children killed tomorrow, many of them feeling they have no other option.  We are better than this as a nation and as parents and grandparents.

Mr. President, hug your children today and think about the ones doomed to die tomorrow.
