Letter to President Obama #107

June 24, 2015

Mr. President:

Since the tragedy in Charleston, S.C. last week you’ve called for more gun control and uttered the N word.  Amateur Hour at the White House has never been more evident than right now.  Your immediate response to the brutal killing of 9 innocent people in a church; fly to California for 2 fund raisers.  Your response to the brutal killing of 3,000 unborn babies every day; absolutely nothing.

Since last week’s killing rampage in Charleston, over 20,000 unborn children have died in America’s abortion mills.  You’ve made time over the last week to attend fund raisers and record an interview with a crazy guy in his garage, but apparently your calendar is full when it comes to making time for America’s children.

Mr. President, the true test of a leader is how he treats those who are powerless to oppose him.  The thousands of unborn children dying every day at the hands of Planned Parenthood and their fellow bottom-feeders don’t have a voice.  They are powerless to fight for their right to life and depend entirely on others for their very survival.  In the greatest country on earth, founded on the right to life for all, industries dedicated to killing children for a fee should not exist.

Mr. President, you and I were allowed to be born.  Why should our unborn children not be given the same accommodation?  No one should waste their own gift of life taking the lives of innocent children in an abortion mill.  No child was created to suffer an agonizing death just as its life is beginning.  Sir, you and your friends on the pro-abortion side have allowed over 60 million unborn children to be killed since 1973.  How many more must die a senseless death before you realize the magnitude of human suffering that legalized abortion has inflicted on America?

I’ll keep asking you to stand up for life and your staff will continue to stuff your mechanically signed form letters into envelopes and send them off to people like me.  Mr. President, I don’t want a form letter with a fake signature on it.  I want a President who cares about the lives of innocent children.  I want a President who is not afraid to stand up for every human being’s right to life, especially those who haven’t been born yet.  Sir, there is a lot that’s wrong in America right now.  Take a giant step towards making one thing right.  Support and sign the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act when it makes it to your desk.  America’s children will thank you and you’ll finally deliver on your pledge of hope and change.

June 14, 2015

Mr. President:

The Senate is taking up the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and you have promised to veto it if it makes it to your desk.  Why?  How could any sane human being oppose a bill that will ban the dismemberment killing of unborn babies who have developed to the point that they can feel the pain of every rip and tear as they are literally ripped to shreds while being killed?   Mr. President, we condemn the murderous thugs of ISIS for killing innocent human beings by beheading and torture, and allow the same methods to be used to kill unborn children in our nation’s abortion mills.

By the end of your second term, over 8 million unborn children will have been killed on your watch; about 160,000 of them by dismemberment abortion.  As the father of 2 beautiful daughters, how can you allow the slaughter to continue without doing a thing to stop it?  Sir, the most basic of all human rights is the right to life.  The most basic and most important of all your duties as President is to protect everyone’s right to life.  Sir, your vocal support of Planned Parenthood and your long track record of supporting the abortion industry is contrary to your most important duty as President.

When the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act clears the Senate how will you justify your veto?  Will you say that some lives are more important than others or that unborn children are not living human beings?  Mr. President, all the fancy words and political spin in the world can’t justify the unjustifiable.  Dismemberment abortion of pain-capable children must be stopped.  You are in a position to stop it and the world will be watching.

Mr. President, innocent unborn children are entirely dependent upon us for their very survival.  We have a moral obligation to protect them and we all know that allowing the indiscriminate killing of them is wrong.  The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act will save untold thousands of innocent children.  It will be a small step towards ending abortion, but a very important step.  The thousands of unborn children that die every day in America’s abortion mills are dying senseless deaths.  It’s way past time to end abortion in the greatest country on earth.

Mr. President, allow the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to become the law of the land and watch as miracles occur.  Watch as babies doomed to die agonizing deaths are allowed to be born and to express their universally unique lives.  Sign the bill and take the political heat from the abortion industry and walk away, knowing you did the right thing.

 Mr. President:

I believe in giving credit where credit is due.  Last night’s Delta Force operation that killed ISIS big shot Abu Sayyaf once again showed the terrorists of the world that going up against America’s finest is a no-win situation. Our military heroes are willing to do whatever it takes to protect our freedom and nothing we could ever do could repay them for the sacrifices they make daily. Since you authorized the mission in your role as Commander in Chief, you deserve the thanks and gratitude of a grateful nation.  I’ve called you out on numerous occasions over the past couple of years for your ineptitude and incompetence, but you got it right this time.

Now that you’ve done a good thing, why not continue the trend?  The House passed a slightly watered-down version of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act this week.  While it’s far from perfect, it will save lives.  All you have to do is push it through the Senate, withdraw your threat to veto it, and let it become the law of the land. Countless thousands of children who would otherwise be killed will get their chance at life with the simple stroke of your pen.  Mr. President, on what moral basis could you possibly oppose a bill designed to save unborn children from agonizing deaths?

Sir, polling data and politics should not be considered when it comes to saving children’s’ lives.  There will be plenty of time later to play politics and push your leftist agenda, but this is just too important.  Last night you made the call, but our Delta Force heroes did the heavy lifting.  When it comes to getting the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to your desk for your signature, it’s your turn to do some heavy lifting.  You wield enormous influence in your position, and a signal from you that you support this bill is all it will take to get it across the finish line.

Mr. President, you, me, and every one of the Delta Force heroes that made us proud last night were all into our 20th week of life at one point, just like the children this bill would protect.  We all made it to birth and beyond due to the kindness and love of others.  Now it’s our turn to pay it forward.  In this case you can do more than me and even the Delta Force.  There is no downside to standing up for life. Mr. President, stand up for America’s unborn children and protect their right to life in the greatest country on earth.

 Mr. President:

Despite your best efforts, Benjamin Netanyahu was reelected yesterday in a landslide.  The security and welfare of the Israeli people are in good hands; unlike my country.  Their borders are secure and they know their elected officials have their back.  Thanks to you, in large part, my government is spending my grandsons into perpetual debt and forcing many of my fellow Americans to reevaluate their retirement plans.  Our borders are non-existent and we kill our own at a much faster clip than any of our enemies could ever dream of.

While Benjamin Netanyahu fights for the survival of his nation, my government sends over $500 million to Planned Parenthood every year so they can kill our unborn children.  During your tenure as President, America’s abortion mills have killed over 2 million more children than the entire population of Israel.  As I write this, your willing accomplices in the Senate are attempting to sabotage the Justice for Victims in Trafficking Act; legislation designed to fight sex trafficking, because it doesn’t provide funding for abortion.   You and your allies apparently think that protecting funds for abortion is more important than protecting women and girls from human trafficking.

What more should we expect from an administration that is lead and run by amateurs, and in the pocket of the abortion and environmental lobbyists?  Mr. President, principled leadership seems to have no place in your administration.  America, while in decline, is still the best hope for the world.  Thumbing our nose at strong allies like Israel and negotiating with terrorist States like Iran, so they can develop nuclear weapons, is lunacy.  My grandsons deserve better, and so does the world.

The blessings we share as Americans obligate us to help those in need.  No one needs our help more than our children.  We have the power and the moral imperative to protect our children and to leave them a world that is better than we found it.  We are honor bound to fulfill this obligation and will be held to account for the fruits of our actions or inaction.

Mr. President, since you’re so fond of your phone and your pen, try putting them to good use.  Call your dogs off and let the Justice for Victims in Trafficking Act become law.  While you’re at it, endorse the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and save thousands of unborn children from horrible deaths.   Who knows?  You may just discover that using your authority to perform good works is a good thing.

 Mr. President:

A true leader, a man of honor and integrity, addressed a joint session of Congress today; and you were nowhere to be seen.  As a matter of fact, you had put the word out days ago that you would be watching ESPN or listening to Jay Z as Benjamin Netanyahu spoke.  Your petulance and disrespect for one of our staunchest allies is breathtaking; but we’ve come to expect no less from an American administration that’s become the laughing-stock of the world.

Mr. President, while Benjamin Netanyahu is fighting for the survival of his nation, you seem to be hell-bent on destroying ours.  In the process, you are negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran that essentially gives them everything they want, including the capability to produce nuclear weapons.  A skeptic could conclude that you don’t care about Israel.  For the record, count me as a skeptic.

Then again, there are lots of things you don’t seem to care about; like the lives of our unborn children, their security and financial future if they’re lucky enough to be born, and the rule of law in a country that’s supposed to be governed by the rule of law.  Come to think of it, about the only thing you really seem to care about is exercising your obsessive narcissism and trying to appear competent in a world that sees you as a joke.

Mr. President, if I’m coming off as disrespectful, then I’ve made my point.  While I wish you no harm, I just want you to go away.  Spend the next 2 years on the golf course; travel the world on my dime, or just hang out at the White House with Al Sharpton.  Just stop trying to be something you’re not; a leader.

Mr. President, in spite of all the damage you’ve done as the worst President in our history; most of it can be undone as soon as you are shown the door.  What can’t be undone are the deaths of over 8 million unborn children who will have died in America’s abortion mills during your tenure.  You can’t take back your ringing endorsement of Planned Parenthood and you can’t get a redo on your inaction as millions of innocent children died.

Sir, while I’m profoundly embarrassed that you are the leader of the free world, this too shall pass.  If you choose not to take my advice to do nothing for the next 2 years, put on your big boy pants and dust off your pocket constitution.  Reread your oath of office and think about the welfare of your country for a change, and not yourself.  After 103 letters to you over the past couple years, I’m expecting to be audited any day now.  I’m confident however, that the IRS is just as screwed up as everything else in your administration, so I’ll take my chances.

 Mr. President:

Radical Islamists are threatening to launch attacks on America’s shopping malls and, as you’ve done throughout your political career, you’re voting present. You abandoned the most vulnerable among us, our unborn children, years ago, and now you’re content to just play golf and attend fundraisers as the world implodes around us. You ignore our allies’ requests for military assistance in the war against ISIS, yet you have time to meet with clowns like Al Sharpton and seek his advice on race relations.

Mr. President, the over half a billion dollars you will send to Planned Parenthood this year would go a long way towards wiping out terrorism.  Apparently, you would rather see it spent wiping out the lives of over 1 million unborn American children.  Sir, if you spent a fraction of the effort you expend trying to make it easier to have your unborn child killed in America, on ridding the world of radical Islamic terrorism, the world would be a safer place.  And if you actually had the courage to call radical Islamic terrorism out by name; it would be a good starting point.

Tomorrow over 3,000 unborn children will be killed in America; about the same as the number of Americans killed by radical Islamic terrorists on 9/11.  Way back then, you were implying that we had it coming and got what we deserved.  And way back then, you had already voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.  A leader who focuses on allowing the children under his leadership to be killed is no leader at all.

While you dawdle, ISIS is raping, murdering, and pillaging its way across the Middle East.  Make no mistake; America, the great Satan in their eyes, is their ultimate target.  As they work their way towards America they are killing thousands of innocent children.  And as you do very little to stop them, our country is killing thousands of our own children every day.

Mr. President, there’s not much I can do against ISIS, other than fight them until my last breath if they make it to America, but I can fight for our unborn children.  I can and will do everything in my power to change the hearts and minds of you and your friends in the pro-abortion crowd.  I wake up every day to the nightmare of the country I love allowing its children to be butchered.  My resolve is stronger daily to put an end to the practice of abortion.

Mr. President, unlike you, I’m not afraid to call my enemies by name.  They are Planned Parenthood and all their colleagues in America’s abortion industry.  My goal is nothing less than total victory.  Maybe yours should be the same.

Mr. President:

At last week’s National Prayer Breakfast you tried to strike a moral equivalency between radical Islam and Christianity.  I’m not surprised.  You have a long history of saying the wrong things at just the right time.  As I write this, ISIS is raping and murdering children, beheading Muslims and Christians, and committing unspeakable acts of barbarism in the name of Islam, and you don’t have the courage to call them radical Islamists.

What should we expect from a President who classified the terrorist attack on Fort Hood as workplace violence?  How do we look to our President as the voice of moral clarity when you uttered the words “God bless Planned Parenthood?”  Mr. President, as the titular leader of the free world, in theory, the world should be able to look to you as the voice of reason when the sky is falling.  Instead, tiny countries like Jordan are carrying the fight to ISIS while you stonewall them as they beg you for basic material assistance.

As a military veteran, I’m profoundly embarrassed that the Commander in Chief of the world’s greatest military happens to be you.  As a man who respects honor and integrity, I worry about the future of an America that’s lead by a man who possesses neither of these attributes.  America is better than you and your fellow leftists will let her be.  I’m confident we will return to greatness in spite of your best efforts to bring us down.

Most of my letters to you are written because of your role as the most abortion-friendly President in history.  The true test of a leader is how he treats those with no power to oppose him.  Your record of not only supporting abortion, but actively promoting it shows what kind of leader you are.  Since your days as an Illinois State Senator you’ve been firmly in the corner of the pro-abortion side.  Your multiple votes against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, a bill designed to provide life-saving treatment to children who survived botched abortions, show just how radical your pro-abortion views are.

Mr. President, you are on record as stating you will veto the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act if it makes it to your desk.  Please explain to me, the American public, and every unborn child in America why you feel it should be legal to dismember pain-capable babies while they are killed by the thousands.   While you’re at it, as a constitutional scholar, please point out the section of the constitution that affirms a woman’s “core constitutional right” to have her unborn child killed.  These are your words so I’m sure you’ve dog-eared the passage in your pocket constitution to back them up.

Mr. President, the world’s on fire and you’re yukking it up with Utube celebrities and brewing beer in the White House.  Get a grip and while you’re at it, get a backbone.

 January 13, 2015

 Mr. President:

In June of 2013 the House passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.  Your gatekeeper in the Senate, Harry Reid, blocked a vote on this bill so you wouldn’t be forced to veto it.  He ran out the clock so you wouldn’t be placed in the position of having to explain to the American people why you don’t object to allowing pain-capable babies to be killed.

The House is poised to pass this bill again on or about January 22 and new Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has promised to bring it to a vote in the Senate.  With any luck, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act will be on your desk by the end of February.  What will your justification be for not signing this bill?  Do you know anything about the procedure that is employed to kill a late-term baby, or worse yet, do you not care?

Dilation and Evacuation, the procedure used to kill late-term babies, is brutally effective.  The unborn, pain-capable child is systematically ripped apart, limb by limb, until it dies and all its body parts can be removed from the mother’s body.  About 20,000 babies are killed in this manner every year in America.  They experience the agony of every rip and tear until they die.  They don’t have a voice and their screams can’t be heard.  They’re totally at the mercy of a supposedly civilized society.

Over a million unborn children are killed every year in America’s abortion mills, so the 20,000 or so that this bill addresses may not seem to be a big number; some may even consider it insignificant; nothing more than a rounding error.  Mr. President, every single one of these lives matters and every single one is priceless.  Your cronies at Planned Parenthood don’t agree.  They place a value on the head of every child they kill; that being the fee they get for killing it.

Mr. President, signing the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act is a no-brainer.  There is no logical reason to veto a bill designed solely to protect innocent children.  I ask that you place politics aside, and look inside your heart when this bill reaches your desk.  Imagine the pain and suffering that will come to an end with a simple stroke of your pen.  Sir, you are on the record as saying that you have a phone and a pen and that you intend to use them.  I implore you to use your pen in the name of every innocent child that is simply striving to exercise its God-given right to life.

 November 23, 2014

 Mr. President:

You and I both know the Executive Actions you took this week were far beyond the bounds of your authority as President.  We also know that your assertion of prosecutorial discretion in order to circumvent the will of the people and to bypass Congress was not the lawful exercise of Presidential power.  Mr. President, elections have consequences and the trouncing your side took just a few short weeks ago was a resounding rejection of your policies; every single one of them; the very same policies you rightly acknowledged were on the ballot.  Unfortunately, the consequences of electing an incompetent, unqualified President are what got us to this point in the first place.

Mr. President, Liberalism always results in the exact opposite of its stated intent.  But, once again, we both know that the actions you took Thursday night had nothing to do with immigration reform.  They were nothing more than a partisan political maneuver designed to bait the incoming Republican majority into an exaggerated response and to make you look like you actually give a damn about our porous borders and the millions of illegal aliens living in America.  The fact of the matter is, if you had waited until the next Congress was seated in January you would have gotten most of what you illegally implemented with the stroke of your pen, and it would have been done with the cooperation and consent of all 3 branches of government, just as our Founders envisioned.  But you knew that too and still decided to poison the well and scuttle any chance of bipartisan immigration reform for years to come; simply to exercise your dissociative narcissism and to try to remain relevant.

Mr. President, let’s stipulate that you do have the authority to just waive your hand, whip out your Presidential pen, and change laws unilaterally.  Take out your pen and reverse Roe v Wade.  Issue an Executive Order making the intentional killing of unborn children illegal in America.  You’ve shown that you are willing to overreach your Presidential authority, and in doing so affect the lives of millions of people, so why not do it again and save the lives of millions of children?  You claim that your Executive Actions on immigration reform were the right thing to do.  What could be more right than taking action to end the killing of over 1 million American children every year?

Immigration reform must be implemented in America, but the first step has to be securing our borders.  You can’t clean up your flooded home until you stop the flow of water.  The elective killing of our unborn children has to end, but the first step must be changing the laws that allow it to be done legally.  America will not stop killing its own until respect for the sanctity of every life once again becomes the norm.  A show of respect by the leader of the free world would be a good first step.

 Mr. President:

BS and big words will only take you so far.  At some point you have to actually do something of substance.  You recently said that every one of your policies were on the ballot this year.  You were right.  And last Tuesday every single one of them was repudiated by me and my fellow Americans.  You came into office promising hope and change, and now after 6 years of incompetent leadership and failed policies, we are all just hoping for change.

I’m ashamed to be living under the leadership of the most abortion-friendly President in history.  During the first 6 years of your Presidency over 7 million unborn children have been killed by Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest killer of children, and their colleagues in America’s abortion industry.  Not only have you done nothing to stop the killing, you have actively promoted Planned Parenthood’s agenda.  You have even gone so far as to say “God bless Planned Parenthood.”  I don’t want to speak for God, but I don’t think He is throwing out a whole lot of blessings to an organization that kills hundreds of thousands of innocent children every year.

Mr. President, during the first 6 years of your Presidency the American taxpayers have unwillingly shelled out over $3 billion to Planned Parenthood.  How many hungry children could have been fed with the $3 billion Planned Parenthood used to kill them?  While the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act sat on Harry Reid’s desk for the last year and a half over 1.5 million unborn children died in America’s abortion mills.  Something is terribly wrong in America when the Senate Majority Leader is forced to sit on a bill designed to save pain-capable babies from agonizing death by dismemberment just so the President won’t have to explain why he vetoed it.

I’ve asked Harry Reid to allow a vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act several times, and he has done nothing.  I’ve asked Mitch McConnell to do the same when he assumes Leadership.  I’m confident that the Senate, under Mitch McConnell, will pass this bill and send it to you for your signature.  You can then explain to the American people why you don’t feel compelled to prevent over 20,000 pain-capable unborn children from being brutally killed every year by your friends in the abortion industry.

Mr. President, even you know that killing children as a matter of convenience, and for a fee is wrong.  Allowing the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to become law will be a small, but critically important step towards ending abortion in America.  Do the right thing and sign this bill into law.
