Letter to President Obama #87

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

 July 13, 2014

 Mr. President:

As much as you want to deny it, the current immigration crisis on our southern border was manufactured by your administration.  You put the word out in Central America that if unaccompanied children could make it across the U.S. border, they could stay.  The fact that this would subject tens of thousands of children to rape, abuse, and even death was of no consequence to you.  All you wanted to do was overwhelm our Border Patrol and try to pressure Congress into passing your fatally flawed immigration reform policy.

In your sick mind, human suffering and death are merely collateral damage if it helps promote your naïve, amateurish policies.  As I’ve previously written, you said exactly what you were going to do to America back in 2008.  You made it very clear that your plan was to “fundamentally change America.”  As America’s first ‘American Idol’ President, you’ve shown the world that an uninformed electorate will fall for just about anything as long as it is presented by a slick talker, even if the slick talker has never managed anything even as complicated as a front yard lemonade stand.

This same modus operandi is used by Planned Parenthood and the rest of your friends in America’s abortion industry.  Instead of saying they kill children for money; they call it women’s reproductive health care, a woman’s right to choose, and abortion care.  They propagate the myth of safe abortions when everybody knows that every abortion is performed with the expressed intent of killing a living human being every time.

Mr. President, those who support and endorse Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry are just as guilty as the killers themselves.  Politicians like you who put thousands of desperate children in harm’s way just to promote a political agenda are just as guilty as the coyotes and drug dealers their families pay to get them to our border.  The human suffering and death going on at our southern border is on you.

While thousands of unaccompanied children stream across our border every day, thousands of unborn children are dying every day in our abortion mills.  While we set up Welcome Centers and provide medical care and food for the children coming across our border, no such welcome is given to the over 3,000 babies killed every day on this side of our border.

Mr. President, your willingness to spend billions of dollars to care for these children you lured across the border under false pretences, while you spend hundreds of millions to allow our own to be killed, speaks volumes.   As a citizen of the greatest country on earth, I’m ashamed of my President and most of the 535 members of Congress who swore an oath to preserve and protect the values we hold dear.  We can do better.  We must do better.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Potential

At the moment of conception each of us has already been given an expiration date.  Most of us go through life in denial, thinking we’ll be the exception, while in the back of our mind we all know our time will surely come. Most of us will never begin our last day on earth knowing it is our last day on earth.  When the end comes we will all be held accountable for the time we were given and how we spent our gift of life.  As much as many of us would rather deny this reality, it is reality, none the less.

As I’ve written on numerous occasions, I believe each of us is conceived with unlimited potential.  There are no limits to what each of us can become and achieve other than the limits we impose upon ourselves. Since 1973 in America 56 million Universally unique human beings, with unlimited potential, have been murdered in their mothers’ wombs.  56 million chances to change the world have been lost forever.  When a mother allows her unborn child to be killed she changes the world forever.  There never was or never will be another human being exactly like the one she allows the abortion industry to kill.  56 million lives cut short before their expiration date represents 56 million lost opportunities to change the world.

Each of us has a finite amount of time to make our mark on the world.  We can pursue a life of instant gratification and not discover until it’s too late that we wasted the life we were given; or we can dedicate our life to performing good works, and know when the end comes that we did our best to leave the world a little better than it was before we got here.  I choose the latter.  I choose to tell anyone who will listen that killing unborn children is wrong and that as a society we continue to allow this practice at our own peril.  I choose to call out Planned Parenthood and everyone else complicit in the killing of thousands of American children every day.

I’m prepared to spend the rest of my life in this endeavor and hope to change a few minds and save a few lives along the way.  Every unborn child deserves to live.  Every child deserves to be nurtured and encouraged to express its Universally unique potential.  We are honor bound and morally compelled to protect our children at every stage of their lives.  We usurp this duty when we allow laws to stand that allow millions of innocent children to be killed as a matter of convenience.  We fail as moral human beings when we accept a status quo where evil organizations like Planned Parenthood are able to receive hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars every year while they peddle their industry of death.

The unlimited potential we are all conceived with is bigger than an abortion industry who’s days are numbered.  It’s more powerful than a pro-choice movement that knows in its collective hearts that they are promoting infanticide.  Human potential will always default to a life affirming position.  Human potential will eventually result in every new life being cherished as the priceless gift it is.

Letter to Nancy Pelosi #3

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi

235 Cannon H.O.B.

Washington, D.C.  20515

 July 11, 2014

  Congresswoman Pelosi:

I’m sitting here wondering if you are abjectly ignorant or simply a pathological liar.  Based on your recent statements, I’m thinking it’s both.  Your statement this week regarding the Supreme Court’s decision in favor of Hobby Lobby and other closely held corporations is a prime example.  As you know, or should know, Hobby Lobby’s case was based on its religious convictions that made it morally untenable for them to pay for birth control medications for its employees that would result in the destruction of a fertilized egg.  Their belief, and mine, is that a fertilized egg is a human life.  Hobby Lobby has no problem paying for 16 of the 20 most commonly used birth control products for its employees.  Its only objection is being forced to pay for abortifacients; but you know that, or should.

Ms. Pelosi, every word you uttered regarding this case was an outright lie; but you knew that, or should have.  You said the following: “We should be afraid of this court, that 5 guys are determining which contraceptions are legal or not.  It’s not her bosses business.”  Aside from the fact that your stammering delivery of this statement made it even more unintelligible than the words themselves, nothing you said was even remotely based on fact.   As Megyn Kelly made perfectly clear on Thursday night, every method of birth control that was legal before this week’s decision is still legal now.  The only thing that changed is that a closely held company cannot be forced to pay for methods of contraception that violate their religious convictions.  But you already know this, or should.

To your great delight, 5 guys gave us ObamaCare, and you celebrated.  In 1973 5 guys ruled that Roe v Wade was the law of the land.  41 years and 56 million dead children later, your side continues to celebrate this decision as one of the greatest moments in our history.  As thousands of children die every day in America’s abortion mills, you keep the pressure on to make sure that killing unborn children in the greatest country on earth remains legal.  If the 5 guys you refer to had ruled against Hobby Lobby would you still be referring to members of the Supreme Court as 5 guys?

Congresswoman, this was nothing more than the Court ruling that corporations can’t be forced to violate their religious beliefs, in compliance with a law that you, of all people, co-sponsored.  Your statement against the Court’s ruling was nothing more than your side’s never-ending efforts to devalue human life and to keep the sacrament of abortion on the altar of your radical Utopian vision of total government control.

Ms. Pelosi, shame on you, and shame on your equally clueless constituents who continue to send you back to Congress.

As always, all my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Letter to President Obama #86

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

 July 9, 2014

 Mr. President:

For a country that’s broke, we sure waste a lot of money.  $540 million a year to Planned Parenthood, and over $400 million a year to the Palestinian Authority, controlled largely by Hamas, a brutal terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel. So, just to be clear, your administration thinks the appropriate use of my tax dollars is to pay Planned Parenthood to kill innocent children and to fund terrorists so they can kill the citizens of Israel.

Mr. President, my focus is on saving the world’s unborn children and then protecting them after they’re born.  I work hard at my day job and I don’t want any part in paying for missiles that Hamas lobs into Israel or funding the world’s biggest abortion mill.  If you ask most Americans, I think they will agree with me.

Sir, we are being invaded at our southern border.  Your response, like everything else; throw money at it.  You request $3.7 billion to care for illegal aliens while you spend hundreds of millions of dollars to allow American children to be killed.  I understand why people want to come to America but we can’t just open the gates and let everybody in.  Like any other civilized nation, America has to enforce an orderly process for legal immigration.  The laws are on the books.  All you have to do is enforce them.

Mr. President, you, Nancy Pelosi, and all the other left-wing bleeding hearts say it’s all about the children when the subject of the mass border breach by thousands of Central American children is brought up.  Yet, you say nothing as thousands of American babies are killed every day.  The children streaming across our border are being encouraged to do so by your administration.  They are being exploited in a brazen political maneuver by you to bypass Congress on immigration reform.  They are entering our country illegally and being welcomed with open arms.

The thousands of American children killed today in America’s abortion mills are all here legally and are being executed for the simple act of trying to be born.  Israeli children in the path of Hamas rockets are in danger of being killed by weapons unwillingly paid for by me and my fellow Americans.  Mr. President, our children are our most priceless gift and Israel is one of our closest allies.  We have a moral obligation to protect our children and no less a duty to our allies.

Here’s a suggestion.  Do your job.  Thank you for your continuing inattention to my concerns and those of my fellow Americans.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Purpose

Last Friday, Independence Day, I had planned on taking the day off.  Unfortunately, the rigors of running a one man office and my plans for a day off didn’t work out.  Maybe next year.  The work I do on my own time on behalf of the pro-life movement really isn’t work to me.  The only challenge my pro-life work presents is the question of when will I finally take the leap of faith I know I need to take in order to work at it full time.  Subtle signs and hints are constantly entering my life, nudging me towards where I know I need to be.

Sitting in my office on July 4th, while I crunched numbers and stressed about multiple projects, I looked out the window and saw cars full of people enjoying their day.  This struck me as one of the more than subtle signs that maybe I should be spending my time in pursuit of something more rewarding.  When I list the things that are important in my life, my day job, where I spend most of my time, is nowhere near the top.  I can feel a quantum shift and massive change coming to my life, and I welcome it.

Over the past year numerous events have taken place in my life that have convinced me that my purpose in life is to protect children.  When the time is right I’ll discuss these events, but for now I will continue to make my case for every child’s Right to life.  We all make choices as to what is important to us.  We arrive at these choices through our life experiences, observations of others, and prayerful contemplation of our true purpose.  Even though the short span of our physical lives are no more than flashes of lightening against the backdrop of eternity, each of us has the potential to perform great deeds and to change the world forever.

Finding one’s purpose in life is only half the battle.  When you finally decide to act upon it, that’s when miracles are possible.  I don’t know if I will ever save a child through the work I do, but the process itself is enlightening.  The research I’ve done over the past year has left me stunned as to how brutal the abortion industry is.  Then again, what would you expect from an industry that thrives by killing innocent children for money?  Every day my determination to educate the world about these barbaric practices and to bring an end the practice of abortion grows stronger.

As I continue the fight, I’m looking into new ways to get my message out.  While my purpose in life is clear, finding the ways to fulfill it are a bit more challenging.  In the mean time I’ll keep paying attention to all the things I used to call coincidences and following the breadcrumbs that will lead me to the goal I have promised I will reach in my lifetime.

Letter to Planned Parenthood #46

Planned Parenthood Federation of America

1110 Vermont Ave.  NW

Suite 300

Washington, D.C.  20005

Attn:    Cecile Richards

 July 4, 2014

 Ms. Richards:

Holidays are special days for me; not because I get a day off work, but because you do.  On days like today, when your abortion mills are closed, thousands of tiny humans get to live another day.  Today, people like me get one more shot at convincing mothers not to have their children killed.  Thousands of our fellow Americans have died to preserve our independence and we owe it to them and our children, both born and unborn, to honor what they sacrificed everything for.

Ms. Richards, like it or not, America sets the standard for the rest of the world.  When we allow our unborn children to be killed indiscriminately for money, we send the signal that if the greatest country on earth allows it, it must be a good thing.  No good comes from killing children.  While Planned Parenthood rakes in billions of dollars from the pain and suffering it inflicts, your profits are fleeting and ephemeral.  The long term cost of the evil works you do will linger for generations.

The demand for abortions is decreasing.  Planned Parenthood clinics are closing all over America.  The demise of your industry has been set in motion.  New laws and regulations are making it harder every day for you and your industry to make a living off the blood of innocent children.  I’m under no delusion that Planned Parenthood won’t go down without a fight; the stakes are too high.  Killing unborn children is a high profit service, and the corrupt politicians and pro-abortion organizations working on your behalf will stop at nothing to keep the money and blood flowing, so they can continue to get their payouts from your ill-begotten profits.

Ms. Richards, while independence guarantees many freedoms, it doesn’t confer the Right to have your child killed on demand.  Independence and freedom come at a high price, and once achieved, cost even more to preserve.  I’ll be spending Independence Day as a proud American, but with a heavy heart.  I’ll be thinking about the brave men a women serving around the world today so me and my family can enjoy our time together.  I’ll be thinking about all the unborn children spending their last days alive unless their mothers have a change of heart this weekend.

The spirit of independence that sets America apart from every other nation on earth evolved from an attitude that nothing is impossible if you are fully committed to achieving your desired goal.  My goal is to close your doors forever and to change the hearts and minds of a nation where far too many of its citizens believe that unborn children are something less than living human beings.

Letter to Governor O’Malley #3

Governor Martin O’Malley

100 State Circle

Annapolis, Md.  21401-1925

 July 1, 2014

Governor O’Malley:

Since your days as Mayor of Baltimore you’ve been an embarrassment to those of us on the conservative side of the aisle in Maryland.  Never have I been less proud to be a citizen of Maryland than yesterday.  Upon learning that the Supreme Court had ruled in favor of Hobby Lobby, in a landmark ruling on the side of life, you had the audacity to urge everyone to send Wendy Davis a campaign donation.   Governor, what does it say about our state when our Governor endorses the spokeswoman for late-term abortion in America?

In a recent letter to you I asked you to declare Maryland an abortion-free zone.  Since you never replied, and in light of your recent remarks, I think I can safely assume that you won’t be honoring my request.  Your extreme pro-abortion position will be part of your undoing in the 2016 Presidential campaign.  I’m predicting that Hillary won’t run.  That means you may have a shot at being the Democrat Party’s nominee.  You’ll get support from the far-left and you’ll lose in a landslide.

Sir, as the Governor of a safe haven for late-term abortionists, you preside over the killing of countless unborn children every day.  These children are countless because our state decided to stop counting them in 2006.  The worst of the worst set up shop in Maryland, kill children under the clueless noses of the Md. Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene, and rake in millions of dollars in tax-free income while plying their deadly trade.

Governor O’Malley, you’ve added 40 new taxes to law abiding Marylanders while abortion providers get a free ride.  You’ve even gone as far as taxing the rain in our state while turning a blind eye to unregulated abortion providers.  Governor, it will not end well for a society that allows its unborn children to be killed under cover of the law.  It will not end well for elected officials who climb to the top on the bodies of dead children.

Governor, an elected official like you wields enormous influence.  You have the power to save lives and to end the slaughter of innocent children.  Your words and actions will carry consequences long after you are no longer relevant.  Sir, at the end of your life will you be proud of the fact that you have promoted and enabled the killing of thousands of innocent children?  Will you breathe your last breath wishing you had made it easier to kill more, or changed course and worked to insure that every new life got its chance to make its mark on the world?

I’m publishing my letters to you on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  I’ll publish your replies too, should you take the time to do so.  Sir, I’m committed to ending abortion in my State and my country.  I invite you to help.

Letter to President Obama #85

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

June 29, 2014

Mr. President:

Yesterday I had the distinct privilege of attending a function in honor of our wounded warriors.  These brave men and women gave their all for America, and all the honors and gratitude we direct towards them will never be enough.  The sacrifices they made for us were for all of us.  They didn’t give everything so thousands of innocent American children could be killed every day.

America’s military heroes willingly give their lives to protect the Rights far too many of us take for granted; the most important of which is the Right to life.  Every unborn child is granted this Right at the moment of conception and must depend entirely on the good will and respect for life of others to be able to exercise this Right.

Mr. President, our country dishonors our military heroes’ sacrifices every time we allow another abortion to be performed.  When an American soldier makes the ultimate sacrifice for his or her country, he or she doesn’t pick or choose which group of Americans they are dying for.  They don’t give everything to protect a woman’s right to have her baby killed.

Mr. President, small town America gets it.  The entire town turns out for events like the one I attended yesterday.  Children are welcomed at these events and treasured as the gifts from God that they are.  If you had asked anyone at yesterday’s event if they thought we should be able to have our unborn children killed on demand, I think you know what the answer would have been.

America needs to return to the small town values that made us great.  What you don’t see at events such as the one I attended yesterday are organizations like Planned Parenthood hawking their services and touting their industry of death as an all American staple.  They’re quick to take advantage of the freedoms our heroes fought for, but conspicuously absent when we gather to honor them.

Mr. President, you are the Commander in Chief of the greatest military the world has ever known.   These men and women, who all happen to be volunteers, will follow any lawful order you give and complete any mission they are assigned.  They perform their duties daily with honor and integrity and don’t question the motives of their President, even if he happens to be an utterly inept amateur like you.

Mr. President, when it comes to honor and integrity, you and your friends on the pro-abortion side don’t measure up.  When it comes to traditional American values, you are clueless.  When we gather to honor our heroes, everyone is welcome.  You and your friends in the abortion industry won’t be there, and I’m ok with that.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Letter to NARAL #7

NARAL Pro-Choice America

1156 15th Street

Suite 700

Washington, D.C.  20005

Attn:    Elyse Hogue

 June 27, 2014

Ms. Hogue:

It appears that NARAL and all its friends in the pro-abortion camp are really wound up over the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Massachusetts law that provided a 35 foot buffer zone around abortion clinics.  What’s not to be upset about?  Now, a woman walking to an abortion clinic to have her child killed may have to walk by someone asking her to reconsider her decision to kill an innocent human being.

Ms. Hogue, while you insist that buffer zones would prevent violence outside abortion clinics, you fail to mention the violence that occurs inside.  The handful of violent incidents outside abortion clinics since 1973 pales in comparison to the 56 million murders that have taken place inside during the interim.

The 35 foot buffer zone that you claim to be so fond of was nothing more than a means for you to try to validate a practice that is an affront to humanity.  By placing a so-called protective buffer between someone trying to kill a child and those feeling a moral obligation to protect children you claim protected status for baby killers.  A chalk line 35 feet from an abortion clinic door is nothing more than another gimmick in the abortion industry’s bag of tricks; a bag of tricks designed to focus attention away from the fact that thousands of tiny human beings are being killed every day on the other side of the line.

Ms. Hogue, the following statement, in your own words, sums up the hubris and hypocrisy of America’s industry of death and parasitic leeches like NARAL: “While the Supreme Court acknowledged that these laws play an important role in protecting women and doctors, the Justices made it more difficult for states to protect their citizens. Let’s be clear: today’s decision puts women and health care providers at greater risk. We will work to make sure that legislatures in states are focused on making clinics safe for women, free of harassment, intimidation, and violent acts.”

You say the buffer laws protect women and doctors.  Never once do you mention the innocent children who die every day from the violent acts you say that abortion clinics should be protected from.   Ms. Hogue, why do you label pro-lifers like me as anti-choice?  Me and my friends in the pro-life community have no problem with choice.  Our issue is with the killing of innocent children.

The Supreme Court enabled this mess we’re in when Roe v Wade became the law of the land.  It’s about time they started unraveling the web of death they sanctioned over 41 years ago.  And it’s about time organizations like NARAL started calling murder something other than choice.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

June 26, 2014

At the end of June last year I was fired up over the seemingly endless stream of blithering idiots speaking out for the legal killing of our unborn children.  Nancy Pelosi was being Nancy Pelosi, and Wendy Davis had just arrived on the scene as the latest cheerleader for America’s abortion industry.  In the case of Senator Davis, if the only cogent argument she can form against closing abortion clinics that can’t meet strict medical standards is that women seeking abortions will be forced to travel farther to have their child killed, she’s in trouble.

It’s hard to debate a topic like abortion with disingenuous people who fail to acknowledge the scientific and moral reality that unborn children are living human beings.  Hard or not, I intend to keep up the fight.  The following letter was on its way to the White House last June 30, destined, no doubt, to the same fate suffered by 3,500 unborn American children that same day; discarded like so much trash.

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

 June 30, 2013

Mr. President:

Recently, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was asked to explain the moral difference between killing a baby inside the womb as opposed to killing the same baby shortly after birth.  In a classic example of cranial rectal insertion, this glittering jewel of colossal ignorance simply answered that the priest asking the question was “being hysterical.”  Mr. President, you must be so proud of Ms. Pelosi, who claims to be a devout Catholic out one side of her mouth while simultaneously advocating for the brutal killing of our unborn and newly born children out the other side.

Sir, as I’ve stated in previous letters to you, the pro-abortion side, Ms. Pelosi, Planned Parenthood, and the rest of your friends in the abortion industry represent the ultimate in hypocrisy.  One inconvenient fact that none of you can dispute is that 100% of you were allowed to be born.   How dare you and your ilk, after receiving the gift of life, deem yourselves to be the arbiters of who gets to live and who doesn’t?

Mr. President, please keep trotting blithering idiots like Ms. Pelosi out in front of the cameras to state the case for legal abortion.  Her clownish demeanor and abject ignorance of the facts, combined with her seeming inability to organize and communicate a rational thought makes her one of the best friends the pro-life movement could ever have.

Mr. President, another unintentional friend of the pro-life movement is State Senator Wendy Davis of Texas.  Her 11 hour filibuster this past week of Texas’s ban on aborting unborn children 20 weeks and older was a circus.  By using delaying tactics and civil disobedience within the Senate chamber, she and her co-conspirators were able to run out the clock on a bill that she knew was going to pass.  What I will never understand is how a mother of 2 can be so willing to fight against protecting unborn children from an excruciatingly barbaric death after medical science has proved that they can feel the pain of being killed.

I happened across Senator Davis this morning as she was taking her victory lap on Face the Nation.  Although unlike Ms. Pelosi, being able to communicate in complete sentences, the premise she relies on and the illogical justification of her actions is no less baffling.  One of Sen. Davis’s problems with the bill was a provision that would impose stringent medical competency requirements on abortion providers, resulting in the likely closure of all but 5 abortion centers in Texas.  Her problem, in her eyes, was that women seeking to have their child killed at an abortion clinic would now have the hardship imposed upon them of having to drive a longer distance to have it done.

Mr. President, if ignorance is bliss, you and your pro-abortion friends have been doubly blessed with both.
