 Ms. Richards:

Holidays are special days for me; not because I get a day off work, but because you do.  On days like today, when your abortion mills are closed, thousands of tiny humans get to live another day.  Today, people like me get one more shot at convincing mothers not to have their children killed.  Thousands of our fellow Americans have died to preserve our independence and we owe it to them and our children, both born and unborn, to honor what they sacrificed everything for.

Ms. Richards, like it or not, America sets the standard for the rest of the world.  When we allow our unborn children to be killed indiscriminately for money, we send the signal that if the greatest country on earth allows it, it must be a good thing.  No good comes from killing children.  While Planned Parenthood rakes in billions of dollars from the pain and suffering it inflicts, your profits are fleeting and ephemeral.  The long term cost of the evil works you do will linger for generations.

The demand for abortions is decreasing.  Planned Parenthood clinics are closing all over America.  The demise of your industry has been set in motion.  New laws and regulations are making it harder every day for you and your industry to make a living off the blood of innocent children.  I’m under no delusion that Planned Parenthood won’t go down without a fight; the stakes are too high.  Killing unborn children is a high profit service, and the corrupt politicians and pro-abortion organizations working on your behalf will stop at nothing to keep the money and blood flowing, so they can continue to get their payouts from your ill-begotten profits.

Ms. Richards, while independence guarantees many freedoms, it doesn’t confer the Right to have your child killed on demand.  Independence and freedom come at a high price, and once achieved, cost even more to preserve.  I’ll be spending Independence Day as a proud American, but with a heavy heart.  I’ll be thinking about the brave men a women serving around the world today so me and my family can enjoy our time together.  I’ll be thinking about all the unborn children spending their last days alive unless their mothers have a change of heart this weekend.

The spirit of independence that sets America apart from every other nation on earth evolved from an attitude that nothing is impossible if you are fully committed to achieving your desired goal.  My goal is to close your doors forever and to change the hearts and minds of a nation where far too many of its citizens believe that unborn children are something less than living human beings.

 Ms. Richards:

Wednesdays are weight training days for me.  Tonight as I neared the end of my workout I was reminded of just how quickly things can change.  As I was doing my last set of inverted pull-ups, both my pull-up handles broke and I fell awkwardly on my back and hip on a ceramic tile floor.  I laid on the floor for a couple minutes assessing the damage; a bloody chin, cuts on both arms, an egg sized and growing goose egg near my right elbow, a twisted back, and a really sore right hip.  I’ve been hurt a lot worse and life goes on.

Ms. Richards, during the 2 to 3 minutes I spent checking my injuries out, America’s abortion industry killed another 7 unborn children.  Life goes on for Planned Parenthood and its colleagues; but for the 7 innocent children you killed as I lay on the floor, it all ended today.   If I had fallen at a slightly different angle or my pull-up handles had broken at a different stage of my pull-up motion, the outcome for me could have been a lot worse.  Life can change and life can end just that quickly.

As I type today’s letter, in fulfillment of my promise to myself and God that I will do something every day to end abortion, more parts of my 60 year old body are starting to hurt.  Pain reminds me that the gift of life I was allowed to exercise doesn’t come with a guarantee that every day will be easy or that bad things won’t happen.   Life’s only promise is that it will give you everything you ask of it; all you have to do is ask.

Ms. Richards, the fledgling lives your organization ended today were all denied their chance at greatness.  They were all moving inexorably toward their individually and universally unique journeys.  Your organization felt it was appropriate to value each of these priceless lives at a couple hundred bucks before you brutally ended them.

I can already tell that I’m going to be pretty sore tomorrow.  That’s ok.  I’ll deal with it and I’ll still be on the job tomorrow night trying to put you out of business.  My injuries will heal in pretty short order, but the daily heartbreak I feel for all the innocent lives you and your colleagues end will only stop when your doors close for the last time.

I’ll be back tomorrow, in honor of my children, grandsons, and every child that deserves the same Right to life that you and I enjoy.

 Ms. Richards:

Yesterday I attended the funeral of a good man.  He was the father of a friend and lived a full, rich life of 90 years.  It was a life full of good works and positive outcomes.  He seized the gift of life he was given and made the most of it; and in the process left the world a better place, before he went home for his final reward.

Ms. Richards, every new life has the potential to do good works and change the world.  All they need is a chance to claim the Right to life they were given by the One who created the Universe.  And that, Ms. Richards, is why I’m writing this letter.  Planned Parenthood kills hundreds of thousands of unborn children every year.  Every child your organization gets paid to kill was granted the gift of life for a reason.  I make no claim to knowing the reason why a child is granted this gift.  I accept it for what it is and choose not to question God’s intentions.

My mission in life is to protect our unborn children from the industry you fight so hard to grow and protect.  I’m sickened by the pain and death you peddle daily, while thousands of dead babies represent a good day at the office for you.

I’m at the point in my life where I’m thinking about the legacy I want to leave.  Based on the eulogy I heard yesterday, I have a lot of growing and a lot of giving to do before I leave this world.  The good thing is, I don’t have to invent anything or try to be someone I’m not.  All I have to do is listen to that calm, quiet voice in my head telling me to fight for the lives of our children.  It’s telling me to walk away from everything I’ve previously considered markers of success, and to pursue my cause full-time.  I must admit, it’s a daily struggle for me to do my day job while I think more and more about this, my night job.

At some point, I know I’ll take a leap of faith and decide to pester you and your supporters full-time.   Until then, I’ll do my best to keep your secretary busy reading my letters, and who knows, maybe someday she’ll come around to my way of thinking and allow one to make it all the way to your desk.  All I know is I won’t give up and I’ll never turn my back on the world’s innocent children.  I’m determined to put you out of business.  I intend to do so in my lifetime, in a peaceful manner, and with the help of millions of like-minded people.

 Ms. Richards:

For an organization that kills babies for money, you have some pretty thin-skinned members in your evil empire. After receiving just 5 letters from me, your Salisbury, Md. office has begun refusing delivery of them.  I can only assume that in order to maintain one’s sanity while working for an organization like Planned Parenthood, one would have to live in a state of denial over what actually goes on at their workplace.  Knowing that most living babies that enter your building will leave the building either dead from an abortion procedure or dying from the abortifacients you administer, could take a toll on any decent person willing to accept the reality of their situation.

Your Salisbury, Md. office can refuse to accept my letters but that doesn’t mean I have to stop sending them.  They can deny the ugly truth about what they do for a living, but the deadly results of their actions can never be denied.  I’m a reasonable man and I’m willing to compromise.  Close your Salisbury, Md. office and I’ll stop writing letters to them.

Ms. Richards, this is personal for me.  As a proud American, I’m appalled that in the small town I live in, I drive by a Planned Parenthood clinic every day; where innocent children are killed, drugs are dispensed to kill even more, and referrals are made to insure that late-term pregnancies end with the grisly deaths of fully viable children. I won’t rest until your Salisbury, Md. location is closed and your entire empire is locked down and shuttered for the last time.  If I have to, I’ll buy the building they’re housed in and boot them out myself.

Ms. Richards, don’t underestimate the power of a committed pro-life movement and the ability of just one determined soul to move mountains, or in your case, to repeal laws that allow you to kill children and to pass laws to insure that you will never kill another one.

We both know that my side is on the right side of this issue.  Somewhere inside your twisted mind you know the end is coming for your industry of death.  You know that the greatest country on earth will not indefinitely allow over a million of its unborn children to be killed every year.  My side also knows that a desperate enemy, like Planned Parenthood, is even more dangerous and will resort to any means necessary to defer its demise.  You’ve already shown the world that ethics and morality have no place in your seedy industry.  Think about what you stand for, and while you’re at it, tell your folks in Salisbury, Md. they need to suck it up and learn how to deal with people like me or get and honest job.

As hard as it may be to believe, some of the most relaxing moments of my life have been spent at the controls of a small airplane.  Some days it’s harder than others to try and convince an organization that kills babies for money to stop doing it.  Last October 6 I fell back to my love of flying and the following letter was soon in the envelope, on its way to a lost soul named Cecile Richards.  Hopefully, she’ll realize the error of her ways before it’s too late.

 Ms. Richards:

As a pilot, I know that once I’ve reached my assigned altitude and heading I can engage the autopilot, and then the plane practically flies itself.  All I have to do is scan my flight control instruments, monitor engine output and heading, and relax.  If I accidentally or purposefully disengage the autopilot and fail to assume responsibility and control of the aircraft, I’ll crash and burn.  That’s kind of how human life works. Immediately after conception the new life is cruising on autopilot.  The animating spark of life that started each life’s universally unique journey has already programmed every stage of its development into its DNA.  Left alone and allowed to live and grow, the tiny human being will make its entrance into the world and continue to flourish and grow, with the help of its family and the brotherhood of human beings that preceded him or her.

Ms. Richards, every year Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry turns off life’s autopilot for 1.2 million unborn children.  If you and your colleagues simply do nothing, no course corrections, no intervention, no assuming the controls; 1.2 million new lives will enter the world.  Instead, you choose to kill these children, most for just a few hundred bucks, and perpetuate a leftist eugenicist’s dream of weeding out those determined unfit to live.

In keeping with the flight motif of this letter, you and America’s child killing industry are on a Kamikaze mission.   By killing millions of children you are on course to insure the demise of your industry and the country you peddle your culture of death in.  Ms. Richards, at some point you won’t be able to recruit people willing to kill children for a salary.  One day you will wake up and realize that you have dedicated your life to killing more human beings than the combined total of all the tyrants in the history of the world.  I can only hope that you will someday realize the degree of torment and suffering your organization has inflicted upon the innocent children of the country that has given you so much.

Ms. Richards, I feel the pain of every child you will kill today.  I feel the fear and confusion of the mothers you take advantage of.  I feel the fear and the struggle to end the pain that every child being ripped apart must endure.

Ms. Richards, I’m tormented by the realization that hundreds of children will be killed in America while I compose this letter.  I get comfort when I look into the eyes of my grandsons and know that their children and grandchildren will live in a world without abortion.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Take the time to reply and I’ll publish it, unedited.

To Whom it May Concern:

I have to give credit where credit is due.  I’ve written countless letters to Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards without a single reply, but after just two letters, I get a reply from you.  Well; kind of a reply.  Your answer to my letter of May 4, 2014: a Planned Parenthood brochure with a yellow sticky note attached with the following message: “I find my work quite meaningful and not at all grisly!  Get a life.”

I guess I struck a nerve when I pointed out the obvious; that you work for an organization that kills hundreds of thousands of unborn babies every year.  I’d be careful if I were you.  The folks at your main office would probably be pretty upset if they knew you got so riled up over being called out for who you work for.  Thanks for telling me to get a life.  No offense, but I’d rather save a life; millions actually.  You can help.  When you close the office today; unplug everything, lock the door, and throw away the key. It’s that easy.

Contrary to what you may think, I don’t hate you.  I hate what Planned Parenthood does to children.  I’m committed to closing the doors of Planned Parenthood, including your office.  How can a nobody like me close down America’s abortion giant?  I haven’t a clue.  What I do have is absolute faith that I can, and a commitment that I will do so non-violently.

Small victories in my fight for the lives of America’s unborn children are important to me.  The way I see it, the time you took to write your snarky little note, attach it to a brochure, and stuff it into an envelope addressed to me was time you weren’t spending to help a mother have her child killed.  The $0.48 Planned Parenthood spent to mail your reply was $0.48 they won’t have available to fund pro-abortion politicians or to lobby for less restrictions on abortion.

At the end of every letter I make the statement that if you write back I’ll publish your reply, unedited.  In the next couple days I’ll publish exactly what you sent to me with no editing on my part.  Just so you know, I won’t give up in my quest to end abortion.  If you really want me to get a life, stop taking them from children.  Take a little time everyday and think about what you are enabling as an employee of Planned Parenthood.  Do some research on the founder of Planned Parenthood and decide if you agree with her goals in the area of eugenics and the extermination of black children.

Planned Parenthood is not welcome in my town and I will not rest until your doors close for the last time.

May 8, 2014

Last July I was just getting warmed up in my mission to end abortion.  Cecile Richards of Planned Parenthood is probably tired of getting letters from people like me with the audacity to demand that she stop killing babies for money.  She’d better get used to it because I’m not going away.  This was my 5th letter to Planned Parenthood.  I’m not really sure how many I’ve written to them at this point, but I know they never write back.  Maybe it’s because they never even read my letters or maybe it’s because they know there’s no logical argument for what they do every day.  Cecile Richards probably doesn’t even know I exist; and I don’t care.  If I can be an annoyance to her secretary or the person in the mail room who deals with my letters, it’s a start.  I’m 60 years old and in really good shape.  I figure I can keep this up for another 30 or 40 years.  Eventually, one of my letters will get through.

Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry hang their hat on the 1%.  Children conceived in rape or incest, and those determined to be a threat to the life of the mother account for less than 1% of all abortions performed.  This 1% is what the industry of death uses to justify what they do, even though they represent a tiny portion of the innocent children they kill every year.  In the following letter I used the 1% as a starting point for negotiating an end to abortion.  Since Ms. Richards hasn’t replied, I can only assume that she is considering my proposal.

Ms. Richards:

Since Planned Parenthood and the rest of the pro-abortion crowd are in the business of killing babies for money, when it comes down to presenting a logical, fact-based argument for what you do, you have nothing.  Since you have no justification for killing America’s unborn children, you always fall back to the same old default question:  What about victims of rape and incest, and what if the life of the mother is in jeopardy?  What you fail to mention when using your reliable fall-back is that considerably less than 1% of all pregnancies fall into this category; an honest mistake I’m sure.

Modern medicine has virtually eliminated the circumstances where a mother may be in danger of losing her life if she carries her child to full term; but you already know this.  You also know that after suffering a despicable act like rape or incest, killing the child conceived by this act does not end the mother’s suffering, it adds to it.  Not only does the mother feel the guilt and pain inflicted by the sexual predator, but having an abortion leaves behind the guilt of knowing that she had an innocent child killed.  Ms. Richards, should a child be executed for a crime its father committed?

Since Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry live in the world of hypotheticals, and have nothing without the rape, incest, and life of the mother argument, let’s see how far you’re willing to ride this horse.

If we can agree that abortion is only justified in the event of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother then we also must agree that over 99% of abortions are not justified.  I want to save the lives of every unborn child, but if we can agree as a starting point that 99% of abortions are not warranted, then I can focus my attention on the remaining 1%.

Ms. Richards, Planned Parenthood killed 334,000 babies last year.  Let’s stipulate that 99% or 330,660 of these abortions were unwarranted.  We can’t undo what has already been done but we can change things moving forward.  From this point forward, let’s agree that Planned Parenthood will only perform abortions due to rape, incest, or imminent threat to the life of the mother; then we can talk about the other 1%.  I’m committed to saving them all, but if we can start here in good faith, I’m convinced we can work this out.

Let me know when we can meet to draw up our agreement to save America’s children.

April 10, 2014

All the work I do for the pro-life movement is in honor of my children and grandchildren.  As my latest grandson reaches the 8 month mark today, I continue to be haunted by the fact that thousands of children die a senseless death every day in America. I refuse to let this stand and I will continue to pester Planned Parenthood and all the usual suspects until the killing ends.  America’s abortion industry is a cancer on our society and is sucking the life out of our moral foundation as well as our unborn children.

While children in Appalachia and all over America go to bed hungry every night, we continue to send hundreds of millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood.  Most of my fellow Americans have never heard of Cecile Richards, but most of them can tell you who is competing on American Idol.  We’ve lost our way and grown accustomed to an ‘instant gratification, damn the consequences’ society.  We’ve become a nation that kills over a million of its own children every year.  People like me can blame Planned Parenthood and everyone in America’s abortion industry, but they would cease to exist if there was no longer a demand for their deadly services.  In the end, we’re all responsible for what we allow to be done to our children, and we all have a moral imperative to end the killing.

I try to stay in touch with Planned Parenthood’s president.  Today’s letter is my latest effort.

 Ms. Richards:

My youngest grandson is 8 months old today.  During the 8 months since his birth, nearly 900,000 children have been killed by America’s abortion industry.  While he eats, grows, and plays, 1 out of 3 of his future playmates and friends are being slaughtered.

Ms. Richards, I’m sure by now your receptionist or whoever you designate to read my letters is getting sick of hearing from me.  Quite frankly, I’m getting tired of writing to you.  Let’s make a deal.  You stop doing what you do and I’ll stop doing what I do.

You may not realize it, but Planned Parenthood and your colleagues in the abortion industry are working your way out of business.  At the rate you are killing children, by the time this generation is of child-bearing age, you will have killed many of your future clients.  Like it or not, when you’re in the business of killing for a living it never ends well.  And like it or not, as long as you keep killing children I’ll keep writing letters to your receptionist.

I must admit that I’m at a bit of a competitive disadvantage with Planned Parenthood.  At Planned Parenthood a baby comes in alive and goes out dead, day after day after day; no originality, no change. In alive, out dead.  Every day I have to come up with a different way to piss off you and your friends. Every time it has to be a little different than the last.

Ms. Richards, you have to know that you and everyone in your industry are pariahs. If what you do every day was for the betterment of humanity why would all the world’s major religions condemn your practices?  If you saved thousands of lives every day do you really think people like me would make it their life’s mission to put you out of business?

Ms. Richards, I’m not important.  You’re not important.  What’s really important is that every child be allowed to be born.  What’s really important is that America returns to a time when every new child is a welcomed addition to its family and the world.

From now to the time my youngest grandson experiences his first whole summer, America’s abortion industry will have killed another half million children. You and Planned Parenthood will have ended another fiscal year, having killed over 300,000 children, while raking in over half a billion dollars from the U.S. taxpayers.

Tomorrow, as your receptionist reads my latest letter, he or she can rest assured that my next one is on the way.  One last time; you stop doing what you do and I’ll stop doing what I do.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

April 9, 2014

Last New Year’s Eve I was contemplating what the new year would bring.  I was hoping that this year would be the year that my country would stop allowing its unborn children to be killed.  I look to every New Year as a new beginning; a time to wipe the slate clean, to put the previous year’s mistakes and disappointments behind us, and to charge ahead towards our purpose in life.

New Year’s Eve brings a 1 day reprieve to thousands of doomed babies in America.  They’ll begin the New Year alive and ready for a full life of rich experiences and the opportunity to make their universally unique impression on the world.  By the end of the first day of the New Year they will be dead.

As I prepared to spend the evening with close friends and family, I felt it was my sacred duty to end the year with one more fight for the lives of our children.  The following letter to Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards was signed, sealed, and on its way on New Year’s Eve of last year.

 Ms. Richards:

Based on your 2012-2013 Annual Report, it looks like the world’s most prolific child killing organization had another banner year.  Between June 30, 2012 and June 30, 2013 you killed 327,166 unborn children.  At the same time, you received $540.6 million from the U.S. taxpayers.  That works out to a little less than $1,700.00 per dead child.  I would be remiss if I didn’t compliment you on your creative math, where you show abortion as accounting for only 3% of your services.  Anyone who has done any research into your deceptive practices knows that this is a result of bundling.  As an example, a woman comes to your clinic for birth control pills.  She receives 5 brochures, a prescription, 2 packages of condoms, a Planned Parenthood bumper sticker, and a brief consultation.  Planned Parenthood books this as 10 services provided.  A woman walks into a Planned Parenthood clinic, pays the fee, and has her unborn child killed.  This is booked as 1 service provided.  This creative math makes abortion look like a tiny portion of the services you provide even though the killing of innocent children is your cash cow.

Ms. Richards, the whole world knows that the viability of your evil empire depends entirely on your ability to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent children every year.  It saddens me more than I can express in words that during the 45 minutes it took me to compose this letter your organization killed another 30 unborn children.  Every tick of the clock signals the impending doom of another innocent child. If the 3,300 children killed every day by America’s abortion industry were killed in their homes, their schools, or on their playgrounds our entire country would mobilize as one to end the killing.  Yet, the majority of my fellow Americans remain silent as you kill thousands every day.

I believe with all my heart that revealing the truth about Planned Parenthood will result in its demise.  I also believe that most Americans, armed with the facts, will demand that your organization be closed forever.  My dreams are simple.  Let every living child be born.  Allow every child to realize its unlimited potential.  Respect the Right to life of every human being from conception to natural death.

Ms. Richards, as an arguably intelligent woman, you have to know that it can’t end well for an organization that kills babies for money.  The liberal elites who made it possible for you to do what you do for a living will turn on you as soon as their grasp on power is threatened.  My hope is that you will realize the extent of the slaughter you have visited upon America’s children and end the insanity long before your enablers end it for you.

Repost: Letter to Planned Parenthood #28

I don’t sleep much any more.  Since I committed my life to ending abortion, not a minute goes by that I don’t think about the suffering and death that has been thrust upon the most innocent and vulnerable among us by America’s abortion industry.  A vivid imagination can be both a blessing and a curse.  While occasionally I’ll write a piece that I’m particularly pleased with, much more often my imagination brings me images of the bloody business of killing our children.  I imagine what a late-term baby must feel as it has its first encounter with another human being, as that human being is in the process of killing it.  I imagine the excruciatingly painful death a late-term baby endures as it dies from a toxic saline abortion.  I imagine the feeling of hopelessness and despair a young mother has as she prepares to have her baby killed.  I’m not big on public displays of emotion, but I must confess that I cry almost daily in my quest to make a difference.  On the evening of October 26 last year I was preparing to write another letter to Planned Parenthood.  I was feeling blocked, so I closed my eyes, and the words came pouring out. The following letter was written in about 10 minutes.

 Ms. Richards:

Some days it’s harder than others to come up with 500 words or so in my quest to end abortion.  When I feel blocked, all I have to do is close my eyes and picture a typical day at a Planned Parenthood clinic.  I close my eyes and my ears open up to the silent screams of your tiny victims.  I see the horrible visions that your abortionists will never be able to erase from their memories.  I see the frozen expressions of agony on the faces of the innocent children you killed; their lifeless faces staring into the abyss of your inhumanity.

Ms. Richards, whenever I think I’m at a loss for words, all I have to do is think about you.  Behind your veneer as an intelligent, articulate woman there must lie the heart of a cold-blooded killer.  How else could you run an organization that kills hundreds of thousands of unborn children every year; all for nothing other than financial gain?  When your tenure at Planned Parenthood comes to an end you will walk away with the blood of millions of dead children on your hands.  You’ll leave a legacy of death that is unrivaled in the history of man.  I wish you no harm, but I have to think there is a special place in hell for unrepentant child killers, and their enablers.

When you run an organization that is the leading cause of death for unborn children in America you have a problem, and so does our society.  The citizens of a country that allows its unborn children to be summarily executed are just as guilty as the abortionists that perform the executions.  You kill them, but without the demand for your services you would be unemployed.

Ms. Richards, the culture of death that is enveloping America is on your shoulders and every American’s shoulders.  You promote and advocate for the killing of unborn children as you kill thousands every week. Americans of good conscience are working to save our children, but far too many are clueless, or worse, oblivious to the slaughter.  Killing innocent children is a growth industry in America and the world.  For a few hundred dollars each, 3,300 new lives are cut short every day in our country.

Ms. Richards, I am tormented by the vision of thousands of children being killed every day in the country I love.  I am thankful beyond words for my children and my 2 grandsons.  I mourn the loss of every child that was killed today and my resolve grows stronger every day to save the children doomed to die tomorrow and the next day.  Ms. Richards, Planned Parenthood is a doomed venture and a stark reminder that the intentional death of every human being steals a bit of all our souls.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Take the time to reply and I’ll publish it, unedited.
