Mr. President:
Today was one of those days for me that we all have from time to time. Everything that could possibly go wrong did. I left my office feeling sorry for myself; feeling like the weight of the world was on my shoulders. Mr. President, I’ll deal with life’s challenges and I’ll get through this rough spot. The thousands of unborn children killed today by Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry had a bad day too. They never had a chance to experience life’s ups and downs. They will never have the opportunity to experience the contrast between a good day and a bad one.
Mr. President, our unborn children are being killed by the thousands every day, radical Islamists have declared open season on the Christians of the world, and all you seem willing to do is huddle in the White House, calculating the political ramifications of any action you may choose to take. While you fly off to Martha’s Vineyard tomorrow for 2 weeks of R&R, the killing will continue in America, and around the world. While you’re living it up in the lap of luxury, the brutal killers of Planned Parenthood and ISIS will continue their slaughter of innocent human beings.
Mr. President, honor and integrity requires one to do the right thing even when no one is watching and even if one’s efforts are never acknowledged. It’s way past time for you to embrace these attributes. The world is on fire and it’s all happening because the world’s only superpower is imploding from within. We have feckless leaders like you determined to deny American Exceptionalism and to relegate America to being just one of the herd instead of leader of the pack. America has always been a benevolent superpower and, like it or not, we have a moral obligation to protect the innocent and oppressed of the world.
My fight is for the unborn children of the world and the protection of them after they begin their post-birth journeys. I welcome your help although I don’t expect it. I’m willing to lose everything in pursuit of my calling and could care less whether my efforts meet the approval of my peers. My goal is to end abortion and to see every child grow up in a world where they are safe and happy. I’ve seen firsthand how violence against children can profoundly impact these precious gifts from God and their families.
Mr. President, honorable men and women don’t have to weigh the consequences of doing what they know is right against doing nothing and hoping for the best. I choose to do what I know in my heart is right and I invite you to take your inaugural first steps along the same path.
As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com. Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.
