Letter to President Obama #82

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

 June 18, 2014

 Mr. President:

It’s good to know that your administration is focusing on the truly important things.  As you know, and probably had a hand in, the United States Patent and Trademark Office cancelled the Washington Redskins trademark registration today.  If this ruling stands up, the wussification of America will be complete.  Apparently, in America today, all it takes is a handful of people to claim that something offends them and the government moves mountains and ignores the majority in order to accommodate the minority.

Mr. President, it seems to me that everyone is clamoring to be offended by something these days.  I’m offended by people being offended by something as inconsequential as the name of a football team.  I’m of Irish descent and I’m not the least bit offended by Notre Dame calling its football team the Fighting Irish.  I’m not even bothered that some people see the Fighting Irish as symbolic of those of us of Irish descent getting drunk and fighting.

I take offense at the truly important things, like the legal killing of our unborn children.  Mr. President, along with me, millions of my fellow Americans are offended by Planned Parenthood and its colleagues in our nation’s abortion industry being allowed to kill children for money.  What are you going to do about it?

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not a Redskins fan, but I will stand with them in fighting against a government doing its best to make us all look like a bunch of pansies.  Mr. President your liberal utopian vision of “everybody gets a gold star, no one’s feelings can be hurt, and the government will take care of all your needs” is destroying our way of life.  While your friend, Harry Reid, has time to speak about something as utterly unimportant as the Redskins trademark on the Senate floor, he still refuses to allow a vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

Mr. President, at the risk of offending you, I’m offended by living under the most corrupt and inept President in my lifetime.  I’m offended by you endorsing Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry.  I’m offended by your administration sending my tax dollars to Planned Parenthood against my wishes and moral convictions.  I’m offended by your administration being too inept to understand that the enemies of America are laughing as we self-destruct right before their eyes.

Mr. President, focus.  Who cares that a below average football team is named the Redskins?  Keep your eye on the ball and join me in the fight for the lives of our unborn children.  Do your job and stand up for the most important Right of them all; the Right to life.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

To Whom it May Concern:

So far, I’ve written to the Governor of Maryland, my County Executive, and my County Council as part of my efforts to shut you down.  Predictably, none of them has done as much as even acknowledge receipt of my letters.  As a resident of the Socialist State of Maryland, I’m used to inept government and a lack of accountability from my elected officials.  But, I thought that something as important as the lives of our unborn children would get their attention, or at least a return letter asking me to vote for them.

While you continue to kill babies every week, they’re apparently too busy to look out for their most vulnerable constituents.  They’ll show up, shaking hands and campaigning anytime more than 10 people are gathered in 1 place, but not a word as Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion mills churn out a steady stream of dead babies.  They can make time to vote on what the State cake for Maryland should be; seriously, Smith Island cake, but they don’t have time for our children.

The sad truth is that you already know that your organization is committing infanticide on a daily basis.  You don’t need to hear it from me or some politician; you see it every day where you work.  You see it in the eyes of the desperate mothers walking into your clinics, and you see it in the lifeless eyes of your innocent victims.

I don’t know what share your office gets of the over $500 million Planned Parenthood gets every year from the U.S. taxpayers, but I’m determined to end the involuntary funding of the world’s biggest abortion mill by unwilling contributors.  If you want to run a business where you kill children for money, count me out as an investor.  And if you can’t stay in business without being subsidized, close your doors just like any other business would.

In a previous letter I offered to help you pack if you decided to close your doors, and I offered to pay for the gas to get you out of my town.  My offer is still on the table.  Walk out tomorrow and don’t look back.  Get a real job; a job you can be proud of, a job where you don’t have to make a living off the deaths of innocent children.

Allow me to sweeten the pot.  Walk out tomorrow and I’ll cover your next week’s salary while you look for a new job.  No strings attached, other than you agreeing to sever all ties with Planned Parenthood or any other abortion mill forever; just a good-faith offer on my part to save some kids and to make it more difficult for Planned Parenthood to operate in my hometown.  There you have it.  You know how to contact me.  It’s your move.

All my letters are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

June 16, 2014

As I begin another week of fighting for the lives of our unborn children, I’m reminded of a letter I wrote to President Obama in September of last year.  I deal with numbers in my occupation and I deal with numbers in my mission to end abortion.  If I screw up my day job, my company loses money and I could lose my job.  If I fail at my night job, thousands of innocent children will continue to die every day.  I don’t lose sleep over my day job, but I lie awake at night wondering how I can do a better job serving the world’s unborn children.

I feel a connection to the world’s unborn children and feel compelled to stop the senseless killing of them.  If this means I’m seen as crazy in the eyes of some, so be it.  The following letter, written on Sept. 18 of last year, is one in a long series of letters to the worst President in my lifetime.

Attn:    President Barack Obama

 September 18, 2013

 Mr. President:

As part of my job I work with numbers all day; some really big numbers. At night, after I’ve finished working at my day job, the job that pays my bills, I punch-in for my night job; working to end abortion.  Unfortunately, I work with some really big numbers on my night job too; 56,000,000 babies killed since 1973, 3,300 killed every day, 1 killed every 26 seconds.  Mr. President, these numbers haunt me, and should horrify anyone who sees them.  Every one of these numbers represents a dead child; a child that was killed because now wasn’t the right time to have a baby, or because it had Down syndrome, or because the young mother didn’t want to disappoint her parents, or a myriad other choices that all required an unborn child to be killed.

Mr. President, my night job, an unpaid position, is the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.  I don’t have to worry about a budget or meeting a payroll.  I don’t have to deal with disgruntled employees or pinheads from the IRS.  Most people working 2 jobs dread checking in for the night shift.  I think about my night job all day and can’t wait to get started every night.  My night job is a labor of love and the only result I will accept is the sound of doors locking for the last time at Planned Parenthood and every abortion mill in America.

Mr. President, I take it personally every time another child dies at the hands of an abortionist.  I feel that I failed to protect every child that died today.  I’m committed to saving every child scheduled to die tomorrow, and tomorrow I’ll check in committed to save the ones scheduled to die the following day. Sir, every unborn child killed today was a member of my family and yours. Every frightened, confused mother entering an abortion clinic is intrinsically bound to you and me.

Mr. President, although I love my night job, I dream of the last night I’ll ever have to do it. I dream of a world that welcomes every new child as the gift that every one is.  I dream of the day I can relax and read a book instead of writing letters to you and the pro-abortion crowd.  And I dream of a world where the only mention of abortion is in a history book detailing liberalism’s last 100 years of failed policies.

The 3,300 American children who were killed today died in a country where the value of a human life has been set at the price an abortion mill will charge to kill a human being. Most of them died as a simple matter of convenience and were seen as an unwanted problem, not a living human being.

Tomorrow America’s abortion mills will open for business and the killing will continue.  Tomorrow night I’ll clock-in, more determined than ever to end the killing.

Mr. President, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Reply to one of them and I’ll publish it, unedited.

I’ve been writing a lot lately about the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.  In a perfect world I wouldn’t have to write about something like this.  In a perfect world it wouldn’t be legal to have your unborn child killed.  We wouldn’t allow an unborn children to be killed at any point in their young lives, whether they could feel it or not.  On Father’s Day I would be remiss if I didn’t remind all fathers that our most important duty in life is to protect our children.

On June 19 of last year I felt compelled to remind the President of the magnitude of the killing that goes on in our country’s abortion mills every year.  The numbers are staggering, and so is the President’s refusal to lift a finger to stop the slaughter.

Mr. President:

What’s in a number?  The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act protects unborn children 20 weeks old and older from the horror of abortion.  Ask yourself these questions: When did the countdown to 20 weeks start?  Was it at the moment of conception?  Does the determination that an unborn child is 20 weeks old confirm that it is a living human being that has been alive for 20 weeks?  If a child has been alive for 20 weeks, what possible legal or moral justification could there be for killing it at any point in its life, starting at the moment of conception?

One more question Mr. President:  Why is it only wrong to kill a child if it is capable of feeling the pain of being killed?   I’ll help you out since I’m pretty sure you don’t have access to your teleprompter on the rare occasion that you actually read a letter from an American citizen.  A child is a living human being from the moment of conception and is endowed by our Creator with the same right to life as you and I.  Engaging in the intentional killing of a child at any point in its life at any time after conception is not only a violation of the law of man, but of God’s law as well.  Short answer so even you can understand: Killing kids is wrong! Don’t do it!

Now that we have that out of the way, allow me to describe a brutally effective abortion technique your friends at Planned Parenthood are quite fond of.  It’s called saline amniocentesis and got its inspiration from none other than the Nazi concentration camps.

A syringe is inserted into the amniotic sac and up to 8 ounces of amniotic fluid is withdrawn.  The abortionist then injects a concentrated salt solution into the amniotic sac.  The salt solution burns the child’s skin and sears its lungs, inflicting indescribable pain that usually kills the child within an hour.  One to two days later the mother delivers the dead, shriveled body of her baby.  We’ve all had the experience of salt on a cut or scrape and know how it feels.  Imagine that pain over your entire body, including your lungs, until you die.  That’s how the greatest country on earth treats its unborn.

What’s in a number?  334,000 stories of pain and suffering, all ending in the death of a human being, all performed in the abortion mills of Planned Parenthood just last year.

Mr. President, one last question:  How many innocent children will you allow to be killed this year?

 Ms. Richards:

Yesterday I attended the funeral of a good man.  He was the father of a friend and lived a full, rich life of 90 years.  It was a life full of good works and positive outcomes.  He seized the gift of life he was given and made the most of it; and in the process left the world a better place, before he went home for his final reward.

Ms. Richards, every new life has the potential to do good works and change the world.  All they need is a chance to claim the Right to life they were given by the One who created the Universe.  And that, Ms. Richards, is why I’m writing this letter.  Planned Parenthood kills hundreds of thousands of unborn children every year.  Every child your organization gets paid to kill was granted the gift of life for a reason.  I make no claim to knowing the reason why a child is granted this gift.  I accept it for what it is and choose not to question God’s intentions.

My mission in life is to protect our unborn children from the industry you fight so hard to grow and protect.  I’m sickened by the pain and death you peddle daily, while thousands of dead babies represent a good day at the office for you.

I’m at the point in my life where I’m thinking about the legacy I want to leave.  Based on the eulogy I heard yesterday, I have a lot of growing and a lot of giving to do before I leave this world.  The good thing is, I don’t have to invent anything or try to be someone I’m not.  All I have to do is listen to that calm, quiet voice in my head telling me to fight for the lives of our children.  It’s telling me to walk away from everything I’ve previously considered markers of success, and to pursue my cause full-time.  I must admit, it’s a daily struggle for me to do my day job while I think more and more about this, my night job.

At some point, I know I’ll take a leap of faith and decide to pester you and your supporters full-time.   Until then, I’ll do my best to keep your secretary busy reading my letters, and who knows, maybe someday she’ll come around to my way of thinking and allow one to make it all the way to your desk.  All I know is I won’t give up and I’ll never turn my back on the world’s innocent children.  I’m determined to put you out of business.  I intend to do so in my lifetime, in a peaceful manner, and with the help of millions of like-minded people.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

June 12, 2014

There is nothing I like better than spending time with my grandsons.  On a stormy day last June my oldest grandson’s daycare closed early and I got the call to pick him up.  We spent the afternoon reading and watching movies together as a rather nasty storm rumbled outside.  Times like this are what my fondest memories are made of.  Nothing earth-shattering happened that day, but I got to spend time with a child that I love more than life itself.

By the middle of June last year I was fully committed to my letter writing campaign to the President.  The following letter was written on a stormy June 13 after my grandson had been safety tucked into his bed for another night of pleasant dreams.

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

June 13, 2013

 Mr. President:

Today may have been a relatively uneventful day for most people.  For me, it was just another day at the office until I got the call from my daughter asking if I could pick my grandson up from daycare, since they were closing early due to bad weather.  That’s when my day took a dramatic turn for the better.

Having the opportunity to spend 2 hours with this precious child made my whole week.  As we sat together, listening to the approaching thunderstorm, he snuggled close to me, knowing that whatever the storm brought, Pop Pop would protect him.

Mr. President, the scourge of abortion has denied millions of grandparents the feeling of trust and unconditional love that I feel when I am in the company of my grandson.  There is no greater honor for me than to be entrusted with the care of this child, and I would die for him without hesitation if need be.

Mr. President, it’s time that our country got its collective head screwed on straight.  We’re allowing Planned Parenthood, as well as others, to kill our unborn children as a matter of convenience, and frankly, as a means of routine contraception for some.  This has to stop.

As long as our society allows its unborn children to be killed for a fee and discarded like trash, our country will continue its rapidly increasing decent into moral oblivion.  Sir, as I’ve said in previous letters, none of which you have replied to, I believe America was divinely inspired.

Having been divinely inspired, we have a sacred obligation to hold in reverence the sanctity of all human life, especially those of our children.

Mr. President, indulge me tonight as you look into your children’s eyes.  Remember all the hugs, tears, skinned knees, and birthday parties.  Imagine the void that would be in your life if your 2 beautiful daughters had never been allowed to be born.  Imagine the indescribable pain that would have been inflicted upon them had they been aborted, and then tell me that you still believe that abortion should be legal and performed hundreds of thousands of times a year in this country.

Sir, you’re a smart guy.  You know that killing our children is wrong.  You don’t have to worry about getting reelected.  Do the right thing.  The world is watching.

June 11, 2014

This time last year, the House was about to vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.  President Obama had already made his intentions clear.  He had promised to veto the bill if it made it through the House and then the Democrat controlled Senate.  The House passed the bill and, as of this date, nearly a year later, Harry Reid refuses to allow a vote on it in the Senate.  I understand that reasonable people can disagree on what’s right and what’s  wrong.  What I can’t understand is why anyone would take a position against a bill designed to protect pain-capable unborn children from being killed, using a barbaric procedure such as dilation and evacuation.  Ripping a living human being apart with the intention of killing it should be illegal whether that human being is yet to be born, or at any other stage of its life.

Pain-capable babies continue to be killed every day in America while Harry Reid stonewalls this bill and the President glad-hands with Planned Parenthood.  I reached out to the President with the following letter on June 12 of last year.  As always, I copied his good friends at Planned Parenthood just so they would know I was thinking about them too.

The White House

Attn:    President Barack Obama

 June 12, 2013

 Mr. President:

Since you claim that your inner circle doesn’t tell you anything, I just wanted to let you know that the House will be voting on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act next week.  This bill, if passed, will ban abortions on living human beings 20 weeks old and older.

While I don’t think this bill goes far enough, I’ll take every small victory for our innocent children and be grateful for it.  Medical experts say that unborn children can feel pain as early as 8 weeks into their young lives, so my question to you and the murderers at Planned Parenthood is this: Does the fact that these innocent children die an excruciating death at the hands of an abortionist bother you at all?

I’m quite sure that your surrogates and those representing the abortion industry are hard at work behind the scenes to protect their cash flow from late-term abortions, whatever the science says and regardless of the reality of the pain and suffering they inflict.   Hopefully, enough men and women of principle will resist the arm-twisting and do right by our children.

Mr. President, I think we both know that whatever the House does, this bill is dead on arrival at the Senate.  We both also know that a little arm-twisting of your own can get this bill through the Senate.  Then, all you have to do is sign it, and countless thousands of innocent babies will be afforded the most basic and most important of all human rights, the right to life.

Try to forget for a moment that money is more important to your good friends at Planned Parenthood than the lives of our country’s children, and do the right thing.  Sir, God knows you’ve made a total mess of this country in less than 5 years, but being remembered by historians as the man who stemmed the tide of abortion and stood up for the right to life of the most vulnerable among us will seal your place in history.

Mr. President, I’m a bottom line kind of guy so I’ll give it to you straight; your administration is the most corrupt in the history of our country, even the left-wing media is turning against you, and you could really use a little positive PR right now.  Push the bill, sign the bill, and make a whole lot of new friends.  Trust me; you’re going to need them.

Letter to President Obama #81

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, D.C.  20500

Attn:    President Barack Obama

 June 10, 2014

 Mr. President:

I join my fellow Americans in mourning the 2 young lives that ended in an Oregon high school today.  I also mourn for the 3,500 unborn babies killed in America today and 1 million of their brothers, sisters, future friends, and playmates who will die in our nation’s abortion mills this year.  The deaths of 2 young teens just a day before their last day of school is getting worldwide news coverage.  Nowhere on the news will you see the deaths of thousands of innocent unborn children covered.

Mr. President, instead of trotting out your standard gun-control talking points, how about doing something that will really save lives?  Endorse and promise to sign the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.  Cut the flow of hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood.  Endorse personhood legislation that will protect unborn children from the moment of conception.  And work for the repeal of Roe v Wade.

There you have it.  Your legacy as the man who ended the slaughter of America’s unborn children will secure your place in history as a defender of life and a friend to the unborn.  Who knows; you may even win another Nobel Peace Prize, and this time you will have actually earned it.  Mr. President, there is no downside to standing up for the Right to life for the world’s unborn children.  You’ll probably end up pissing off your friends at Planned Parenthood, but you have to know that you were only going to be their friend for as long as you were of some use to them.

Mr. President, while I don’t expect you to do a 180 from being the most abortion-friendly President in history, to a friend of the pro-life movement, I will never give up hope.  I believe in miracles.  Every unborn child that was killed today was a one of a kind miracle.  Sir, who are we to decide which miracle gets to live, and which miracle must die?

Mr. President, you have a little over 2 years left as the titular leader of the free world.  Why not make good use of the time you have left?  You can go down in history as the worst President ever, the man who bankrupted America, the man who ruined our healthcare system, the man who negotiated with terrorists, and the man who blamed the death of 4 brave Americans on a video.  You can continue on your present course and relegate America, the world’s last best hope, to a third world country.  Or, you can change course and live by the oath you swore when you assumed the Presidency.

Mr. President, it’s your move.  The world is watching and our unborn children deserve better.

As always, my letters to you are published on my pro-life blog at www.prolifepoppop.com.  Write back and I’ll publish it, unedited.

Ms. Richards:

I’m getting ready to go for a run, and I’ll be thinking about you.  While my heart is pumping oxygen rich blood through my body I’ll be thinking about all the tiny hearts Planned Parenthood will stop tomorrow.  Ms. Richards, a beating heart is undeniable proof of life.  Intentionally stopping a beating heart undeniably ends a life, and is nothing short of murder.  Up to now, I’ve been reluctant to call what Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry does to our unborn children murder, but what else can you call killing another human being for money?

Ms. Richards, I’ve asked you this before: If you truly believe that what you do is for the good of humanity, why don’t you do it for free?  Truly altruistic works are performed solely for the good of others with no expectation of compensation.  Your evil empire kills children for one reason only, money.  You fight against laws to protect pain-capable children from suffering agonizingly painful deaths at the hands of the abortion industry for one reason only, money.

I’m a capitalist, and believe everyone should be fairly compensated for goods and services provided.  I also believe in ethics and integrity and that every business should conduct itself in a manner that harms no one.  Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry fails miserably when placed to this test.  A business model designed by a racist eugenicist, based on deception and killing innocent children for a fee, is doomed to fail.

I’m not going to stand by and just wait for Planned Parenthood and America’s abortion industry to collapse under the weight of their immorality and culture of death, because every day we wait for you to self-destruct, thousands of innocent children die.  I don’t know when it will all come crashing down.  I can only hope that I’m able to play a small part in closing your doors for the last time.

Ms. Richards, I’ve seen the desperate young women walking towards the door of my local Planned Parenthood clinic.  It breaks my heart to know that a tiny human being is spending its last moments alive as its mother enters your office.  I truly feel bad for the people working in your clinics.  Like everyone, they have to make a living.  They shouldn’t have to make their living working for an organization that has killed millions of innocent children.

My immediate goal is to close your Salisbury, Md. office.  I have no ill will towards the employees at my local Planned Parenthood office.  I simply want the killing within sight of my grandsons’ daycare center to end.  Get back to me and let me know when I can expect to see this office closed.  Thanks for your help.

To Whom it May Concern:

The home office has had a bad couple of weeks lately, with the pro-life billboard looming over its Jackson, Michigan office and the announcement that they are closing 3 more abortion clinics in Oregon.  The bad news for Planned Parenthood is good news for all the babies who will now get their chance at life.  As much as Planned Parenthood wants to tout the services they provide other than abortion, it’s abundantly clear that, without the demand for abortions, they will go out of business.

Since your office is only open a couple days a week, I can only hope that the mother ship will be pulling the plug on your operation any day now. While there’s big money to be made performing abortions, if the demand for your services is no longer there, it doesn’t really matter, does it?  That’s where I come in.  My mission is to make the world aware of the brutality and corruption that is part and parcel of Planned Parenthood’s business model.  Your President, Cecile Richards is helping me do my job.  By associating with the likes of NARAL and President Obama, she’s showing the world that principles and basic human decency have no place at the table at Planned Parenthood.

I can only assume that even Planned Parenthood requires a basic level of intelligence and reasoning ability from its employees.  Just in case you haven’t figured it out by now, working for an organization that kills babies for money makes you and your fellow employees complicit in every single death.  Every time you schedule an abortion, facilitate the delivery of an abortifacient, or greet a young mother seeking an abortion, you put into motion the death of a tiny human being.  You can try to deny that you have anything to do with killing children if you don’t personally perform the abortions or administer the drugs, but your role as an assistant to the person who actually performs the procedures means the blood of every dead child is on your hands.

While I’m not holding my breath waiting for replies from the Governor, the Wicomico County Executive, and The Wicomico County Council to my letters requesting the State of Maryland and Wicomico County be declared abortion-free zones, hope springs eternal.  Maybe the wheels have already been put into motion to make it happen.  I’ll let you know as soon as I know something.

I’ll continue to keep an eye on your location and hope to see a Space For Rent sign in your window real soon.  In the mean time, I’ll keep writing and you’ll have to keep making decisions about whether to accept delivery of my letters and read them or refuse delivery and convince yourself that I will just go away.
